My wife really likes the HUTECH KAI chair. The staff there is very good. Delivery and set-up was great. The problem came when we tried to get a problem fixed in the second year of ownership. We were sold the chair with a 5-year warranty including parts and in house labor included. With this chair the bottom of the seat material gradually stretch out such that her bottom was being hurt the the metal from after sinking down into the chair. They fixed it after the first year. But considered the second year as 'normal wear a tear'. they wanted us to pay about $1,000 to fix it (parts and labor). We have to fix it because the pain from It is terrible. We try to put towels etc to cushion the bottom, but it doesn't work well. My wife is not heavy, not sure why it stretched. Hated to send the review but needed to warn others, in case it happened to them. The chair cost $11,744.44. read more

Thrilled with these folks and the buying experience. I bought the kai GTS9 and LOVE IT. What impressed me about them was they really wanted me to get the chair that I was happy with and that "Spoke to me" even if that meant not getting it from them. I shopped around several places and thought I was sure on my selection but after some deeper digging not all promises are in writing! With these folks its all up front and in ink. The amount you pay for in chairs and mattresses shouldn't start and stop at the store on purchase day. Bought an adjustable bed from Relax in Comfort, Winter Park, years ago and have continued to buy sheets and pillowcases from them. They get new fun items in stock and we go in to check them out. Today was exhausting as we had to re-sync our new remote and I couldn't find the manual. So I called Giovanni (on a Friday at 5pm) and this wonderful guy took the time to tell me to text him a picture of the remote. Within 3 minutes, he had the manual sent to me AND a picture of the exact page of the remote to program it. Talk about SERVICE that goes above and beyond. Over the years we have dealt with Don, Jackie, and today Giovanni. These guys always deliver! And well after the sale! We'll be back soon for another adjustable bed for the spare bedroom. OMG, I think I found my dream bed! Most comfortable bed EVER! I went to visit my favorite WPV business today and talk with Relax owner, Don (who is incredibly knowledgeable and a great guy to talk with) and was persuaded, cause he really had to twist my arm on this one (note the sarcasm), to try out one of the power base beds after I proclaimed my love for the zero gravity recliner. To really promote the awesomeness of this bed I must first start with how much the zero gravity recliner alleviated my back pain in the few minutes I lounged in it. And I was having some decent back pain today. Felt great! Until I laid in the power base bed and had my head and legs slightly elevated. Honestly, I don't know how I'm going to go back and sleep in my dreary regular bed tonight. Yes, it really was THAT great! As soon as he put the bed back down to the "regular" bed mode I could feel my back starting to complain yet again. And while I didn't make the purchase today I did learn that it is indeed within my affordability. No I don't make a ton of money, nor did I win the lottery but with 0% financing and a great payment plan even I can afford this worthy investment. And the bed costs thousands less than Tempurpedic and is made from natural materials as opposed to petroleum - yuck! Honestly, who wants to sleep on a bed made from petroleum. No thanks! If you have back aches or just want to sleep better you have to go visit Don at Relax. You'll be super happy you did. I will soon be making the investment in better quality and back relief. Terrific Experience - Knowledgeable Staff I visited Relax in Comfort in Winter Park today to look at their adjustable base beds. I was not planning on buying today, but I did! The sales associate, Giovani was exceptional. He was patient, answered all my questions, showed me comparisons between their mattress/adjustable base verses competitors. Had no problem with me laying on the bed for as long as I wanted. He gave me his undivided attention. I was very impressed. I did come into the store having done some of my own homework before hand to compare prices, etc., but again, I was not planning on making the purchase...generally I want to walk out and think about things. I didn't feel like I had to here. I got all my questions answered. I would definitely recommend you visit the store and be sure to ask for Giovani. I also loved that this is still a family owned business since 1967. I can't wait to get the bed delivered. I want to update my review. The bed has now been delivered and the individuals who delivered the bed were great. They set it up, took time to explain how to use it. Once installed, I had a couple of minor issues and when I called the store to work them out, they went out of their way to get everything in order. To me that is the real evidence of a great company...their desire to make sure you are happy and resolve any issues you have. I have now slept on the bed for a couple of days. Still getting used to what number is my best number for sleep, but it is easy to use and simple to change the pressure of the mattress. I love the adjustable base. I sometimes have acid reflux and the ability to raise my head a little really helps. I love it. Thanks again to all your staff. My husband and I purchased the X10 adjustable bed. We had had a sleep number bed for over 20 years when we heard of this mattress and went in to try it. We fell in love with it and decided to buy it. We've had it for several weeks now and could not be happier with the purchase. Not only can we adjust the firmness, we can also adjust the head and feet to the exact level that is right for us. The support is terrific and the comfort level amazing. There is a zero-gravity setting that works like a miracle for me. When I set the bed to zero-gravity, all my aches and pains just disappear. I paid this company $750 dollars to replace my adjustable bed motars and haven't been able to use them since. Very poor service and no customer follow up. I paid for new motors that were sold to me through the Relax in Comfort salesperson at the Sanford mall store who promised me he was a technician who could install them. He came and tried. My salesperson, Tiko, was instrumental in helping me select the right bed after listening to my requirements. Tiko showed me a few beds, and made some recommendations. I purchased a split head instant comfort X10 from relax in comfort about a year ago from Tiko. Everything has worked marvelously. I love being able to control my firmness without having to agree on what my fiancé wants. Plus, unlike sleep number, the instant comfort can move their legs independently which is huge for me because I have restless leg syndrome so I typically keep my legs higher than my fiancé. read more

I have done business with Relax in Comfort in Winter Park, Florida since 1990. I purchased two adjustable Tempurpedic Beds and 2 Panosonic lounge chairs from Relax in Comfort. I used one of the Panosonic message chairs in my Winter Park Law Office. I still have the beds but have replaced the Tempurpedic Mattresses with new ones. I have always received outstanding service when I needed service which was only one time when a bed motor failed and the next day Don sent technicians to my residence and replaced the faulty part. Even after I retired from the day to day practice of law I have continued to do business with Don and his team. Always first class and always prompt. A review from 3 years ago. So we bought a king size adjustable bed back in Oct 2012 at the Orlando home show. Delivery and install was fine. Within 3 years we had to replace the motor pump, replace one of the plastic chambers that holds the air, replace 2 king pillows with the gel, replace the covered mattress protector, replace the black remotes and now today had to replace the pump motor again. This time they are shipping the new upgraded motor pump. Debbie from customer service at the warranty is AWESOME! This could have been a nightmare but with the warranty we bought everything has been delivered and replaced with no extra charges. My mother is Mrs. D and I bought a bed at the same exact time as she did. Firstly, she DID contact the company numerous times and never received a call or e-mail back and once before the 30 days. She DID not pay 50% off since we bought the same bed at the same price. So we bought two junk beds. These people do not care about your "personal comfort" as Don said. They only care about your money. Funny their name is Relax in comfort but your comfort is their last concern. We bought our X10 bed from Relax in Comfort's Winter Park location in early September. My wife and I have now slept in that bed for over a month. Our initial rave review has stood the test of that time. The zero gravity position is like sleeping in the lap of luxury. And the bamboo sheets we bought with that bed are amazingly cool to sleep on-almost like they have air conditioning. My wife, who used to toss and turn all night, now stays cool and comfortable. Do not believe the reviews this company shows. I bought a bed in Jan '19 and started having problems in Apr. It's now been 3 air chambers replaced and 3 pumps replaced. I am now on the 4th air chamber. The company has terrible customer service and you can't get them on the phone. Finally don't want the bed anymore (and don't want to deal with them) but they will not refund. I only am giving one star because I have to. All they say is that it has never happened this much. Well, if it never has then why are you not issuing me a refund?! I don't want to deal with them anymore. I am still without a bed! read more

BUYER BEWARE or it WILL cost you thousands!!! I bought a bed from the Winter Park location. When purchasing the bed, I discussed my neck and back pain and how I was needing a good mattress. I decided to purchase the very expensive Rest-bed and specifically asked about the return policy. They assured me I would have no issues with returning it if I needed too and they would work with me. As a promotion for ALL mattresses they were giving out "free" items. After about 8 weeks, suggestions, discussions; I asked to exchange the bed for a different less expensive model. They would allow me to and were going to charge me $400! The bed I was exchanging it for was $2000 cheaper! Of course, I questioned this. I was told those "free" promotional items, I was now being charged for. YES, I am now paying for those items and I was NEVER told this would be the case when I asked the sales rep NUMEROUS questions about their return policy. The owner was horrible and basically told me his bottom line was more important than my health. That it is me not the mattress. I would have agreed except when I had traveled for 2 weeks during this time I didn't have any issues with those beds. Here I am now stuck with a $10,000 bed that is HORRIBLE with NO help from this company. I would NEVER recommend them! read more

Terrible do NOT BUY here.. they don't even deserve a full star .. we purchased a $7000+ Chair and had an issue that required servicing and for the last 7+ months had ZERO help to address this issue despite calling this store and owner many times . They won't help you once they have your money ... we received a support number for a local repair rep THEY ALSO WONT RETURNS CALLS. Worst post sale service ever and when you call and try to explain your situation they are super defensive passing the buck to PANASONIC OR THE MANUFACTURER . What's worse is The owner will not return calls despite stating you will write a bad yelp review - they don't care about customers after the sale at RELAX IN COMFORT - and pretty much once they have your money - it's ADIOS. Until you're ready to buy something else - trust me you're on your own after the sale here. If you're seeking quality do not buy here go to another provider BROOKSTONE or another more reputable dealer. It is just not worth it! I purchased a king size adjustable base and bed for my queen size bed after Relax in Comfort said there won't be a problem converting a queen to a king. I was concerned and asked what if there is a problem, since my bed isn't a typical bed. They said they would take the bed back. The contract didn't say that. I called the company two days later to explain the situation. Michael answered the phone and told me to return to the Tampa Home Show, so I did with pictures. Giovani saw the problem and said he would take care of the cancellation on Monday when he returns to the office. That never happened and know I have payments for 48 months and no bed because the owner Don DePaulis accept any cancellations. He says he can give me a queen size if the king won't fit. The reason I purchased the bed is to have more sleeping space. If I wanted a queen size, I would have purchased it! In the mean time the Florida Attorney General and Federal Trade Commission have a three day "Cooling-Off Rule." Stating, if you purchase a product that is more than $25 at a temporary location, such as a convention center, fairgrounds, restaurant, etc, you have a right to cancel for a full refund. We We purchased a new bed at the home and patio show in Jacksonville in February 2019. We like the bed on display decided to purchase this bed and upon delivery of this bed it was not the same. This bed is so hard it was like sleeping on the floor. We were told at the time of purchase if you don't like it call us back and will exchange it. We understood if we did exchange it there was $1000 up charge on the softer mattress. Upon delivery the bed is so hard I cannot sleep on it my arms and shoulders are sore as well as my back is numb daily. We finally contacted the customer service after 2 days. We we're told to season the bed that means lift in the foot and headboard multiple times to get it softer well this just didn't work. We requested a bed exchange and intern that told us then it would cost us an additional 300+ dollars to exchange it on top of the thousand dollars for the softer bed and we would have to haul this bed down to Orlando. We were told to roll the bed wrap the bed up in plastic and bring it down there pristine condition. This not what we were told upon ordering our mattress at the show. I would never buy from this place god for bid we have warranty issues. Help! read more

Paid over $8000 for mattress and base. Waited a month and a half for delivery and got many many excuses. We could not even sleep on the bed when we got it because of a defective air pump. Multiple calls to the store and multiple requests to speak to a manager or owner were never returned. Luckily, I had the delivery drivers phone number and was able to get him to come to our house a couple days later to replace air pump. Unfortunately, the 2nd pump was defective and the driver had to install an older model to fix the problem. We still have not got a return call from an owner as promised! Once they took our money...they no longer provided ANY help or service. We have had several more problems with the bed only to have to contact the manufacturer to help us resolve the problems. We are so unhappy that we spent so much money for such a bad experience. There are so many bed companies out there, so SHOP AROUND! I would NEVER recommend this company! read more
