I came here against my better judgement and reviews. Always listen to your gut and the reviews. #1Got there, one of the ladies tried to open the door to a room the size of a broom closet, the massage table was blocking the door, she had to pry it open by sliding through the crack and moving the table back away from the door. I went in and she closed the door behind me, No instruction as to if someone will be right in or not. #2 Mind you, when I entered the room, the bed had not been changed from a previous massage. The paper face cover was still in place crumpled up. They use something that looks like a white fishnet to cover the bed. They dont use sheets, they use towels that look like they came from my grandmas house. The supplies were in the room so I changed the bed myself with a new face cover and clean towel. I felt exposed b/c the towels were so small. #3 The massage lady came in, didnt speak a lick of English. I asked her if the room had been cleaned, and she smiled and pointed for me to place my head in the face cradle. She never asked what type of pressure or anything about my health history. I really think this place is operating illegally. #4 She pulled my underwear down and massaged my butt without consent. I was in shock! #5 with about 15 mins left of the 50 minute massage , I was in the supine position, face up, she slapped some Unknown/unscented gel like substance on my face and proceeded to rub it in. I didn't give consent to a "facial"!?! At the front desk, the lady takes my payment hands me a pen, she stares at the receipt, I felt pressured to leave a tip. I put in $10 and before I signed the receipt, she yells behind me to the lady who did massage and says something in her language, chi ya so ti lo$10!!! Smh... If you Dont care about the wellness and relaxation aspect that massage is supposed to bring, this is your place. Shoot me if you ever see me here again. I'm also going to call the massage board. This place is the best. They get my knots out and ease my tension every time! I love coming on a time that's less busy at the mall (not weekends), especially after traveling or to treat myself on my bday. You can choose the amount of time you want. I always get the chair - for shoulders/neck/back area, and the reflexology massage for 30 min each. It's also an amazing price!!! They are talented and it's walk in, no reservation, which is great for me cause I always end up wanting a massage last minute. This is not one of those lay down, fancy, choose your scent places- no disrespect to those places- but this is a place where the masseuses will use the best strong pressure to realign your body. read more

I was a member at Hand and Stone for nearly 6 years! I went every month. While this was cool in theory, the massages I received were inconsistent and there was such a high turn over rate, I had trouble booking the same massage therapist. Needless to say, scheduling a massage with Hand and Stone and making sure I had a massage therapist I enjoyed became more stressful than it was what its worth. I found out about this massage clinic after trying to schedule a massage with Hand and Stone and realizing they didn't have any openings. I just googled massage parlors near me because I knew I really needed to unwind. I am so glad I found this place! I have been going here regularly for the past two years. I have never had a bad massage! I have cancelled my membership with Hand and Stone because I am able to get incredibly consistent massages for a fraction of the price. I have been here a few times and never had a complaint but after my visit last night, I will NEVER return again. The male that I had made me feel very uncomfortable and I can't prove it because I do not speak the language but I felt that he was making fun of my body. On top of that I am in so much pain that I feel worse than I did going in. It felt like he was jumping on my back and I told him several times that his massage style was too rough. He was also laughing and making comments which made me feel even more uncomfortable. Its funny that they follow you up to check out ONLY to see if you left a tip. Here's a tip listen to your customer and maybe take a class on effective massages. I only come here when I can't get in with my masseuse. Lesson learned I will just wait and pay for a PROPER massage. She practically forced her entire elbow into my shoulder blades. She barely used her hands; except for my arms. There was nothing gentle about her touch. Will never go back to this Concord mills place. Got a neck/shoulder massage. I've been massaged professionally before, and this place is anything but that. I could tell the guy who massaged me either had no experience, terrible training, and was just a terrible masseuse. I love deep tissue/Swedish massages and have gotten them before, but when I tell you this guy had no technique and was aggressively elbowing my shoulders, I have never had such a God awful massage in my life. It hurt really bad and he was digging really deep under my shoulder blade using his elbow. Now, this was four days ago. Today I have an unbearable pain in my left shoulder that extends all the way down my left arm that has progressively gotten worse each day. I have been stretching and icing and nothing is working. read more

I had a combination reflexology/massage (30/40). The reflexology massage was ok but sthe lady didn't apply enough pressure. The full body massage was 40 minutes but the lady spent the majority of time on my back. I asked her to massage my arms but she only did it a minute on each side. She never got to my legs or scalp. I've had other massages and those areas were included. She also didn't use her hands, just using her elbows over a towel. Weird kind of massage. Very disappointing. The challenge is that she couldn't speak/understand much English. A waste of $60. read more
