This place had an online scheduler so I was able to find a day and time that worked well for me. Once I arrived, the person (owner?) seemed confused but got me set up in a room where I waited about 10 minutes before someone came in. At the end, I showed her the email confirmation which I think helped confirm they have online scheduling, but they prefer walk-in or a phone call. Great massage, she definitely could tell right off the bat where my trouble spots were or what sort of occupation I had! A little more chatty than I hoped but the massage was a good start in the right direction in feeling better. I was initially skeptical of the strip mall location but was in dire need of a massage! I found the entry way welcoming and beautifully fragrant. The ladies at the front desk were very friendly and did their best to accommodate my walk-in massage request. Unfortunately, they were unable to and I had to return about an hour later. I was experiencing severe neck and shoulder pain, so I was happy to return for a same day appointment. When I returned I was directed to the waiting room in the back area and offered tea or water. Zen music played at the perfect volume. This area was in the same hallway as the massage rooms and it felt like I was in a real deal massage place, not a strip mall location. The massage was one of the best I've had! Veronica asked beforehand what I was mostly concerned with and what type of pressure I prefer. She also checked in during the massage to ensure the table and pressure were both okay. Everyone was professional and helpful. I would love to frequent this place but do not live in the area. If you want a super soft rub down, she's your girl, but if you want or need pressure, don't let him stick you with her because he does some of the scheduling too when they are busy. As far as the place, it's tranquil and very nice. The masseuses wait for you in the hallway and greet you with a cup of cold water and ask you how are you feeling which is nice because I've been to places where they have a water machine and you're on your own. If I had anything thing bad to say, it would be that you don't get your full hour of massage time. The start from the time you walk in the room and they are asking you questions about what areas would you like them to concentrate on and then you change clothes but your hour has already start so that's about 15 minutes gone. I always wear clothes that I can get off quickly and the masseuses I try to get already know what's going on with me so our conversation is very brief. An hour should be an hour from the time they touch your body not from when you walk in the room.

I made a last minute call to Be Well Spa and reached Julie, the Owner. Julie set an appointment for this morning with Summer. Summer was amazing!!!! She said she tends to have a heavy hand and but, did she, but just what I needed and could tolerate. The ambiance was perfect, gentle music in the background, mist oils that were not overwhelming and quiet.... She only spoke when I asked a question and left me to enjoy the peace to focus on my pain, relief, and release. Highly recommend BeWell!!!! I've been to several massage therapists here in Washington, and many more in Pennsylvania where I…read morelived for most of my life. Everyone has different preferences when it comes to their massage treatment, but for me, Alyssia at Body Phyx has been one of the best massage therapists I've ever been to. I've been getting massages from Alyssia for about six months now, and I've been consistently impressed with the level of service I've received. I prefer deep massages (I'm a big guy with typically tight muscles) and she does a great job working out all of my trouble areas. I was particularly impressed when I initially visited her and explained my lower back pain situation that she didn't just work on my lower back but also focused a lot on my hamstrings, which apparently have a big impact on lower back function (amazingly, none of my previous dozen or so massage therapists ever connected those issues and focused on the hamstrings like Alyssia did). Alyssia's studio is also very comfortable and relaxing, and she is a very kind and friendly person who operates her business with professionalism. I highly recommend giving BodyPhyx a visit.
