Eventually, 3 years ago, I was diagnosed with PCOS and was told I may need fertility treatment to conceive. I tried seeking help by my OBGYN, main health care doctors, and even seeking some fertility treatment, all to receive bandaid and cookie cutter "solutions" that didn't really help treat or find the cause of my issues. After being tired of not being heard and feeling not cared for I began doing a lot of research and discovered the holistic/naturopathic world and ultimately finding Dr. Nirvana. I began seeing Dr. Nirvana July of 2024 and to this day I have not only felt the most heard and understood, but have truly been seeing results and feeling so much better. She doesn't give bandaid or cookie cutter solutions, she actually cares and works to find the root cause of your issue through detailed labs and tests. She is the sweetest and is extremely knowledgeable. In just 8 months I have improved by gut health tremendously (night and day), I have lost over 25 lbs and don't feel as much inflammation as before, I have been able to balance my insulin and lower my bad cholesterol, and with her help I've been able to start regulating several of my hormones which we discovered I had severely unbalanced due to my PCOS which have caused my irregular cycles and infertility issues. She was carful in customizing a plan just for my needs. She is also very mindful of doing things progressively to not shock your body and feel good while going through healing. While Naturopathic care is not covered by many insurances and it can get rather expensive, it is truly so WORTH IT to actually see true results and find and fix the core problem. I am very satisfied with the progress I have seen and experienced and look forward to what is ahead as I continue treatment with Dr. Nirvana. The in-person facility, the process, and the on-site staff were truly fantastic--especially the professional who administered the IV and the front desk staff. They were wonderful. However, the telehealth nurse consultation was by far the worst experience I've ever had. I had already completed all my basic information on the iPad, which should have made the identity check quick and simple--just like my friend's session, which took only a minute with basic questions about name, DOB, and allergies. Instead, the virtual nurse I spoke with acted as if she were a doctor, asked the exact same question over 5 times, and repeatedly pressed for details I clearly expressed hesitation to share. To make matters worse, when she noticed my uncomfortable response, she actually giggled and seemed to enjoy it. Her behavior was extremely rude, unprofessional, and frankly bizarre. It was so bad that I genuinely wondered if I was being intentionally mocked or racially discriminated against. I couldn't believe someone could act this way in a healthcare setting. Because of this specific telehealth nurse, I woke up this morning still feeling deeply upset. As long as there is a risk of being matched with her again, I will never return to this place, nor will I recommend it to anyone else.
