No cat scratches or wear marks.
    Pauline F.

The people at ReLeather are the real deal. They know what they're doing, are honest and reliable, and come through as promised. We had a 15-year old L-shaped leather sofa that was seriously worn in some areas with many cat scratches. Although the cost to repair the sofa was significant, we liked our current sofa and didn't want to shop for a new one. ReLeather was easy to work with and stayed within the quote, even re-dying an ottoman that was not part of the original quote for free, to ensure all our pieces matched in color and finish. They picked up and delivered the re-finished sofa in about a week - so a quicker turnaround than the estimated two weeks. While the finished product did not look completely like a brand new sofa due to a couple small seams where the leather and stitching were almost tearing and needed to be sealed together, we are completely happy with the results - looks about 10 times better than our old sofa! (We opted not to re-stuff the seat cushions as that would have cost more.). Besides removing virtually all of the scratches, dyeing and putting on a protective coating (that wasn't shiny per our request), they also restuffed the backs and fully relined the bottom of our sofa with a black fabric. The sofa finish comes with a 5 year guarantee, although the owner said we could expect it to last at least 10 years. They also left a leather cleaner with instructions, and also left a bottle of leather paint in case our cats scratch the sofa again. Getting an essentially new sofa in a week's time without having to go shopping was pretty nice and stress-free, too!

    Two leather/fabric reclining chairs

Releather redyed our leather living room set (sofa, loveseat and two reclining chairs) that had several areas where the finish had worn off. They stripped all the old finish off and then dyed the furniture back to its original color. They also restuffed our cushions, pillows and the fabric backs of the reclining chairs. Our 14 year old furniture looks brand new again! It took a total of three weeks start to finish and was definitely worth the wait. Five out of five stars.

    Damaged leather inlay on desk

ReLeather restored a high quality wooden desk that had sustained terrible damage to one of its leather inlays. The expert, Jose, who came out to do the work was beyond wonderful! He meticulously cared for the finely crafted desk and protected the wood and gold leaf while he worked on the leather. Now the desk looks stunning and brand new - AMAZING! The owners came out for the initial visit to inspect the damage and provide an estimate for the cost of repair and length of time the repair would take -- they were a little early, great to deal with, and answered our questions. Jose, who did the work, also arrived right on time, and he was knowledgeable and explained how to care for the desk in the future to preserve its beauty. We would DEFINITELY recommend ReLeather.

Recently had our 14 year old leather corner group sofa restored by ReLeather. They did an AMAZING job of restoring it to "like New" condition. As you can see from the before and after photos, it was a truly amazing transformation. They not only restored the color of the sofa back to its original color, but repaired piping and restuffed cushions. It literally is like new for a fraction of the cost of replacement. These guys are artists with leather restoration and worth every penny!

A picture of the couch the day we purchased the floor demo couch

We purchased this couch from Restoration Hardware a 6 months ago. Granted it was a demo unit with great bones, we purchased as is and took it home. We knew we had to find a company that worked with high end leather and found ReLeather on yelp as one of the top restoration teams in the southland. We called the number, for an appointment. Roberto & José came to our home, they looked and gave us a great price, they took the cushions the same day and informed us they'd be restored in a week. They brought the restored cushions the next week, performed a leather conditioner on the existing couch and BOOM!! Just like that our couch was completely restored. Their a Father & Son Team with great customer service, understanding of the leathers and upholstery in general. Very happy with the final product and have our couch restored for years to come. See the attached pictures..

They restored my old leather couch and chair to like new condition! I loved my old couch, I've had it for 17 years. My family wanted me to get rid of it and buy a new one. I searched and searched and was unable to find one in the style color and softness that resembled my old one. I looked into restoration and found Releather on Yelp. They were very responsive to my initial inquiry, and follow-up questions. Roberto was so good about giving me updates. The process was scheduled within less than a week. They picked up my furniture and a week later I had my couch and chair delivered good as new. They are professionals! Artists! Great customer service, and great work. I will recommend re-leather to anyone who is looking to restore their old leather furniture. (Be sure to look at the Before pics! For some reason they only show when you look at all the gallery pics)

I feel so happy when I see the big difference between before and after. Roberto and his Dad replaced leather for our bench, dyed leather chair, and stitched the part of the leather cushion. Not only they did great jobs every time, but they brought some characters to me. While there is anything with any leather, the first person I'd like to talk is Roberto. I know they are able to solve any problem for our leather pieces.

If I could give them a ten, I would! Roberto and his father were totally professional, always smiling, and more importantly, their work is exceptional! My husband's favorite piece of furniture was a battered and abused dark leather couch, that was both ugly and uncomfortable!! Since it was his "favorite" piece of furniture, I decided to have it reupholstered, rather than hearing him whine every time he went shopping for a new one with me!! Oh my goodness, the results are astounding! I had forgotten how much I loved this couch back when we bought it! Thank you Roberto and Jose for saving our marriage!! Lol! I also included a picture of it, the one with the dog sitting on top of a blanket!

Before and after. I couldn't believe how my 31-year old couch looked brand new after ReLeather worked on it. Amazing.

I have two leather couches that my Dad bought in 1987 for his first house in Corona. Being that these couches are 31-years old, you can imagine the leather was pretty worn out and was actually torn up. In two weeks, ReLeather replaced the leather but was able to put the couches back in their original shape and stitching as if the couches were on the showroom floor in 1987. They looked brand new and if I didn't know it, I'm sure I'd think they were brand new too. Leather reupholstery isn't cheap so you better make absolutely sure you want the procedure done. I know my Dad would be very proud to see his couches looking this good again. I would recommend ReLeather for any leather reupholstery job.

I rarely complete Yelp reviews; but ReLeather is so exceptional, I wanted to share our results. We bought a lether couch from Arazona Leather about 20 years ago and it was showing signs of age. We loved it and wanted to see if we could salvage it. Also, new quality furniture can be expensive so we were hoping ReLeather could save our couch (and some money). So, I called Roberto and emailed him some pics of the couch. We decided to go ahead and they came to the house (on time), picked up the couch, and provided a schedule for delivery. About a week later he called and said, "It's done", and the next day delivered it. Most of the leather was restored and some very worn sections were replaced completely and it's very difficult to see where the new and old come together... it all looks 'new'. They even replaced some of the padding to fluff it up like new again. Quality furniture is worth fixing up and this couch we will now be ale to enjoy for many more years to come for far less $ than a new piece. See picks below of "Before" and "After". Thanks ReLeather!

Hi! Sorry, we do not offer stitching or patching. We offer leather reupholstery in which we fully replace torn leather with new leather.

Unfortunately, we do not repair or dye suede. We suggest you contact your local shoe repair.

What's a typical cost to replace fake leather with real leather on a barrel chair? We like the chair, but the upholstery is deteriorating on it.

Full leather reupholstery for a barrel chair would range between $2000 and $3000.

However, I followed up a couple weeks later asking if a certain date worked. I even explained that I had been busy and said the only time I'd have to bring in the car would be the following week. I paid $450 for this wrap and an extra $100 for the wrap itself. When the first job was done poorly, I went back to the shop to address the issues and they said they would fix it. I texted on a Tuesday expecting a response, and I waited until Sunday to follow up again. Instead of Lisa taking accountability, she told me I "did not reach out," which is extremely unprofessional and untrue. I had apologized for being busy, and I did reach out; she just did not respond. When I reminded her the job was poorly done and how there had been no response, she took zero accountability and tried to use my words against me. Lisa ignored my response when I explained how the situation should have been handled and how she failed to reply in a professional manner. As the customer, I should not have to teach someone how to treat me correctly or how to run a shop professionally. I wasn't trying to start problems; I stated the truth about the situation, but she did not like that. I went back because I had already paid and just wanted the work corrected. I dropped my car off again on Monday around 11:30am. The shop texted me claiming the wrap "wouldn't adhere," which I knew was an excuse. I told them to proceed because the material was fine, and if they couldn't install it, that was their shop's error. The rest of my car's wrap was perfectly fine. To double-check, I contacted the previous shop, who confirmed this shop was making excuses, saying, "The wrap sticks just fine. It sticks on the rest of your car fine. They're talking nonsense." I knew they no longer wanted to service me, and I no longer wanted their service either. I paid a good amount of money for this treatment. I made sure the job would get done. The shop told me the job would be done by Wednesday late afternoon. This was the second time they confirmed a deadline and failed to meet it. I made it clear from the start that I have a busy schedule and cannot afford delays, yet they did not respect that. Removing and rewrapping a front bumper is a 1-2 day job, it is not like I was asking to wrap half the car. I set a boundary that if it was not ready by 5pm Wednesday, as they confirmed, I would request a refund. My whole car was wrapped, had parts added, brakes caliper color change, and badges blacked out in about a week. I took it to another shop before taking it here. (Dependable Guys in Santa Ana) I am not a professional, but I am not stupid. There were no photo updates either, I had to ask for them. When they finally sent a picture, the wrap looked freshly slapped on two days after I dropped the car off. The day I dropped it off, they said the wrap did not adhere. It looked like my car sat there for two days until I asked for the photo, or it took them two days to remove a month old wrap and throw on one big piece lol.. My car is a small sedan, a CLA, not a supercar or SUV. Her words were: "Ok we will remove all the wrap and give you your money back. Come and pick it up today." She added, "You are demanding the refund so come get it. We cannot accommodate the time frame for you. Thank you we will be gone by 5 so please make it in time so we can process the refund." However, Mark (the installer) had reached out to me and told me him and his co worker would come into work early to finish the job. This was the second time they broke their own deadline, and instead of taking accountability, she tried to flip it back on me. Lisa took everything personally when this situation should have been handled with professionalism. I never asked them to remove my wrap; I just wanted the job done properly. The installer Mark was professional, but Lisa was disrespectful, dismissive, and extremely immature in how she handled the situation. I told them to leave the wrap and keep the money. This was their mistake, which took up the free time I rarely have. Even after I explained my situation, reminded them of prior mistakes, and was patient with the delays, they still couldn't get the job done on time. I didn't want or need the money back; I needed my car back lol. It was clear they didn't take me seriously, and I was forced to escalate this further, which she didn't like either. This was waste of time and caused unnecessary stress. I was frustrated because I had to deal with unprofessional and immature behavior. All I got were excuses, missed deadlines, and poor communication. This business does not stand on its word or its service. Don't bring your car here. Many shops in OC offer far better service and professionalism. I recommend Dependable Guys in Santa Ana! It turns out the wrap sticks just fine and clearly they were making excuses... 3 weeks no issues.
