I take my body modifications and my artist choice VERY SERIOUSLY. I got nipple piercings not even ten minutes ago, and I just had to leave a review. Mic was very patient and empathetic toward my nervousness. Mic helped me maintain my breathing, answered all my questions, explained the procedure to me thoroughly, and was very friendly all while being 100% sterile (clean) in his work and maintaining eye contact at all times (besides when he obviously needed to do otherwise to make sure the piercings were straight). Mic was very professional, informative, and all around a great individual to be around! After months of searching, I can finally say with confidence and absolute happiness that I have now found my new loyalty shop! Thanks for everything to everyone at Native Roots!!! She was knowledgeable, informative and made me feel completely at ease - everything needed to get an A++ from me. I've gotten multiple piercings and tattoos in my lifetime and I will have to say this is the best piercing experience I've ever had! I called the business number that he hardly ever answers. He was supposed to to be opened at 1pm on 2/23/26 and was not. He finally answered the phone after 1pm and very quickly saying he'd be there at 5pm after I told him about the stud ball not unscrewing. Well I drove from another county to return to Brads business and guess what Brad you wasn't there. I called several times and guess what no answer. To make long story short I went to Art Assylum in London and the owner assisted in helping in removal of stud ball by snipping it off with cutters after many other attempts with multiple tools. Thanks Brad sorry you didn't think this matter was important but Art Assylum was awesome. I do not recommend using Tried and True on the grounds of the story you just read. Good luck Brad you will need it for sure. Maybe they have a tat piercing reality show that can rescue your business.

She had mentioned to Brad that she had heard good things about his work and then she asked another question and he blew up on her and told MY mother to sit down and continued to say degrading things towards her. She at no point was critiquing him at all. I was so mad that I couldn't even feel him tattooing me. I will not be returning. Went to get a septum piercing, they didnt even look for a sweet spot and went through the cartilage. Very painful, like oh my god. And it's also crooked and too low. Yay, all that pain for nothing good. My friend got it worse, he also got a septum and it was so off it almost came out of the middle bottom of the nose. It was sad. It also felt so rushed. They also didnt use a clamp on either of us, so when she push the needle through it pushed our noses with it making them crooked. I had been recommended this place by 2 people who had went there for multiple piercings. The only piercer there is Tish and she is the one that pierced them. I only wish we had gotten that same quality work. Doesnt matter how you good you use to be, if you just dont care about if you are doing it right or not. They were so nice though...they did offer to fix my friends but he wasnt about to sit through her going through the cartilage. Im glad he didnt, I dont trust them to pierce anything now.

Initial opinion is that the shop was super clean and had a nice modern relaxed feel to it. I've been to lots of tattoo shops and this is one of the nicest ones I've been too. None of us knew what we wanted so we flipped through their book of designs and eventually found some awesome stencils we liked. They do also have a "get what you get" gumball machine for $100 for those who are feeling more adventurous. My sister went first and was a bit nervous but Bruce Lee (yes that's his name) made her feel super comfortable. He does amazing line work and she was in and out of there super quick. After her, he called me in and I am so grateful to have been placed with him. Bruce is not only an amazing artist, he is a gentle/kind human and such an amazing soul. He had us laughing the entire time we were there and we had some amazing conversations. I 100% recommend this shop, especially if you're getting your first tattoo because they will make you feel super comfortable.
