The customer…read moresitting in the barber's chair was a kid getting a mullet and the barber paid attention to detail and took the time with the buzzer and scissors to properly fade and layer. I've got a good feeling about this place at that moment. Then, I sit down and tell the other barber what I want. Pretty simple trim around the sides and maybe an inch off the top. Blend it in a bit. My hair has been growing out for a while so I got plenty to work with. This dude finished my haircut in two minutes with the clippers and didn't do anything that I asked. He literally just gave me a cop haircut and all the length I had just chopped off. No scissor work at all! He also went around my ears and didn't line it up at all, taking it up way higher than he should. I laughed and straight up said "you took off way more than inch". He didn't seem to care. I tipped anyway. Fortunately, I don't care that much about haircuts and it'll grow back. It's not a bad haircut, just not what I wanted.
