It was nice to get a preview before we committed to buy but we stayed close to my budget. Reliable's team is highly skilled and we felt comfortable with them through the entire project. This company is anything but reliable. Spoke to the owner on March 25, 2016 and told me I'd have a quote within 24 hours. I had to contact him to inquire about the quote and he told me he would need to go back with his foreman to get a final number. Said he would let me know within a week. It's April 14, 2016 and I'm still waiting for his week to end. Poor communication - stay away! read more

I hate to give even 1 star because my experience was horrible. Let me preface this review by saying I used Reliable 4 years ago and the work was decent so I decided to hire the company again to landscape the side of my home and modify the irrigation. Richard McCormick should change the name of the company from Reliable to MIA because he was mainly MIA during my resent interaction with Reliable, except when he picked up my check and then he was my best friend. He never picked up his phone and he was not good at returning texts. He is NOT a good communicator. Initially, Richard McCormick promised a lot and didn't deliver on any of it and made excuses to cover himself. He did NOT start or complete my project by the agreed upon deadline. He did NOT notify me prior to the deadline to explain why he was delayed. He did NOT provide me a design guide as he said he would. Richard McCormick did NOT accompany me to the nursery to pick out new landscaping material as he said he would because he said he had other things to do. He was suppose to be at my home to oversee the installation of the new landscaping because I didn't have a design guide. Richard McCormick was MIA and NOT present and by the time he finally showed up, 5 bushes had to be moved because they were too close to the HVAC unit. He did NOT tell me the new area to be landscaped needed to be treated prior to installation to get rid of the bermuda grass. He never mentioned any kind of weed/grass preventer material. Several times during installation, I requested the new area be dug out but obviously that never happened. Now I have a new area on the side of my home with $1000 worth of new landscaping full of new mulch and very stubborn bermuda grass. 1 week after installation, when the bermuda grass started growing through the mulch and the new plantings, I contacted Richard McCormick via text and I got no response. I tried to dig it out myself for 2 days and when I realized I was not going to be able to do it, I contacted him again and asked him to do something about it. He refused to do anything and told me to maintain the area with Round-up. I advised him I could not use the product because the bermuda grass was too close to the new plantings to the point of actually growing through them and I wasn't going to jeopardize $1000 worth of new landscaping because he did not treat this area before anything got planted. And why should I have to maintain something that is brand new when I paid him $2250 for labor? I will probably hire someone to do what Richard McCormick should have done. I will never use Reliable again. read more

We contacted Reliable Landscaping for a couple of projects. We wanted an Irrigation system installation and a beautiful hardscape patio with lighting. Richard was great to work with from the estimate through the entire process of construction. His team was very polite, clean, and answered all my questions. Best of all, they completed both projects efficiently and in a timely manner. We were very busy, so it was important for the crew to return the lawn back to a functional level. I highly recommend these guys for any outdoor projects. read more
