They stole an assessment from me, have no sense of decency with a long term owner, dont clean the common areas well for which they are paid a lot, even given gratuity every year. Wish I could give ZERO STARS. This is an update, we recently had a leak in the walls of my building. Reliable Management (our management company) did not get it to stop for 9 days, the damage could have been prevented by UN-Reliable but was not. Finally on the 9th day plumbers arrived, it took 4 hours to fix, but there was a lot of damage. On the positive side of this we now have a new management company, one who responds when you call or email. So there will be no more postings from me, but I do encourage others to post. What a joke of an organization! Professionalism doesn't even begin to describe them. I've been screamed at by almost every employee of the company. The man in the president seat even swore at me over the phone. They has no access to direct deposit. They have no clue that buildings need repairs especially the building where I have lived. Our parking lot needed to be torn out and a new one put down years ago. The pot holes can swallow cars. The drainage from the rooftop AC units flows into the parking lot instead of with gutters and down spots down the sides of the building. The balconies have rusted out cast iron railings and cement floors that the rebar is showing through. Never once was a sign hung requiring residents to wear masks and the pandemic has been here since March. They need to revamp their business with professionalism and diligence to the ones whom feed them read more

Real big problem with book keeping. Some how whether you pay one time or pay late with a late fee, you still end up owing money. When you call to find out what's the issue you can't get a straight answer. I had an issue 2 years ago and it took months to resolve. Here we are again with an issue of the same kind. Glad I have all my checks and bank info as proof or I'd be stuck paying money that's already been paid. It might be time to update the office and maybe have an online option to pay. We've been waiting over a year for this and they'll say we'll have it up and running soon. Now to wait until Friday to follow up because the Cathy is only there 10-3pm that day. read more

Don Fumo is a liar through and through. He's pushy and arrogant. Apparently doesn't know how to call to make an appointment for needed services. He's obnoxious banging on the door insisting on you conforming to HIS schedule. Don't rent anything managed by Reliable if you have any choice. You'll regret it if you do. read more

We have had a great experience with Reliable Management. In the 5 years we have lived in our condo we have had to call them on several occasions. The staff has always been polite and responsive. Don Fumo does a great job contracting qualified professionals to handle our maintenance needs. There are always going be a couple nit picky, busybodies in every building. But regardless of some negative reviews i have read, we have never had anything but a pleasant experience from them and the entire team. read more

Patricia -I own a condo in Forest Park, IL and Reliable Management isn't Reliable at all. Don Fumo and his brother Tom are the rudest, unprofessional people I've ever met. My car was recently hit, and I wanted to view the on-site video footage. On 7/17/20, I made arrangements with Tom Fumo to see the security video from 7/13/20 thru 7/15/20 between the hours of 9am - 3pm, and he said he wouldn't be available until 7/22/20. Wouldn't you know it that on 7/22/20 water starts coming in from the ceiling of my kitchen. Tom Fumo happens to be on site and comes in to see it. Says I'll get a call from someone to come out. I then ask if we can view the security video to see if my car was hit while parked. Tom then tells me that he viewed the video and saw nothing. I stated that's not what we agreed on, then he tells me, ( a unit owner) that I'm not allowed to see the video. I ask why have me waste my time and he shrugs it off. It's a possibility that a Board Members friend may have struck my car as he parks next to my car and has damages to his car that aligns where my car was hit I have taken pictures. On 7/24/20, Tom calls me in the morning to tell me no one is coming out and he wants to check inside my upstairs neighbors unit. Just like Reliable, looking to put the fault on another unit owner. I also discussed the damage to my car with the Forest Park Police and they requested to see the video today so we called Tom Fumo, but he couldn't do it today and agreed to be available on 7/28/20 to meet with the officer. When leaving my home today around 6:30pm on 7/24/20, I see both Don and Tom Fumo getting into both of their vehicles and take off. So they couldn't meet with the Police Officer on this day, but both are at my building doing something. Could the video footage have been erased? Wouldn't surprise me from these guys...Unit owners are talking about Reliable Management service and viewing these complaints may be in the best interest to seek outside assistance. These complaints on Yelp and BBB are worth exploring further. read more

Don't rent property from these people. Very unprofessional and apparently Don Fumo hates his job and life. There were roaches in the building during the summer and problems with my unit that never got taken care of. The parking places haven't been plowed and they try to push their responsibilities of fixing things onto the tenants. read more

Same experience i see as with previous comment 09/2013, I also called to ask a simple question about snow removal and Don Fumo was fuming. Before I could even explain the situation, his aggressive and hyper-defensive posture warranted me calling the village for assistance. I called the management company a few days ago to verify information from a listing we WERE interested in and the owner, Don Fumo, bacame histerical while being asked a very simple question regarding parking in the building.
