We moved to southern Maryland in the middle of June. This was our 9th move in 40 years, do to job relocations. We did our own packing, labeling the boxes according to which room they were for (bedroom 1, bedroom 2, kitchen, etc.) This crew arrived early, worked in an efficient and careful manner moving the boxes and furniture into the truck. They gave us a timeline of when they would be finished loading up and gave us updates as needed. My husband stayed until the house was empty. I left about 2 hours into the move since it was a 4 hour drive to our new house. The truck was locked in the yard overnight, and they got up early the next morning for the 4 hour drive and arrived right on time. They were able to unload everything, without damage, and were finished by lunchtime. They were a great hardworking crew, polite, efficient, and just overall wonderful to work with. If you need a short move or a longer 2-day move like ours, they are the crew to go with. Their price was also very reasonable. I've had bad experiences with moving companies when I was in the Service. So I was looking for a small, local company with good reviews. Joel with Reliable Moving showed up on time and gave me a reasonable estimate for moving my furniture. As luck would have it, the day of the move, it snowed. Didn't matter. Joel was there with his crew on time. They moved all of my furniture, some of it very heavy, without a problem. No banged walls or doorways, no scratches, no scuffing or dragging. It was all lifted and carried or moved on a dolly without any damage. Then it was carefully packed with moving blankets on his trucks. What a difference from my previous experiences. Phone calls were usually answered by an actual person. When it was necessary to leave a message the voice mail was responded to in a timely fashion. These gentlemen were early to start and did not waste any time moving my entire house of furniture. They had it loaded and then unloaded at the new house in less than 5 hours. They worked awesome together and were very careful and professional with all of the furniture. They were very respectful and courteous of my old home and my new home to not damage anything. Also, they are tireless workers who stayed and assembled the bed and the furniture, plus they placed everything in its final spot. Nothing was damaged and they took care of all the items.
