It was funny because Noelle was our Sales Associate and I remember her saying "Feel free to shop around, you'll be back" and she was not wrong. We shopped around mainly in Orange County, but this place had our heart from the very beginning. They walked us through EVERYTHING. It was very education forward and did not feel sales pushy at all. We figured out what size my finger was, we looked at what kind of bands I liked, and they put the stone over my finger so I would get an idea of what the ring would look like. Of course, they had the chart out that showed us where certain stones were ranking in terms of color, cut, and clarity. When we were done browsing, they set my partner up with a profile and provided notes on every little thing that I liked so that he would not have to remember when it was time to make the purchase. While I'm not too sure what went on between the time I went in and I got the ring, I do vaguely remember my partner telling me the jeweler (Eli) had a whole mock up of the ring on his computer to show him how it would turn out. My partner proposed in November, and I'm so obsessed with my ring. I get so many compliments on it. However, the story doesn't stop there! We went back to look for wedding bands in February and Eli introduced himself as the man who made my ring and he remembered EVERY LITTLE DETAIL of it. He even remembered the size of my finger! I was thoroughly impressed. He was very honest with us and said we could come back in August to buy the band because he wouldn't need 8 months to create the wedding band. I appreciate the honesty and it's not about making a quick buck here at Ro Ma. We ended up purchasing my wedding band in August 2026 with Eli and Tania. I'm shocked after a whole year later, they still remember us, my finger size, and the specs of my ring. Tania also told me to come back in before my wedding to get the ring cleaned up and she also said it's a good idea to have it looked at to make sure that the prongs are still looking good. I really appreciate that they genuinely care about their products and their customers. I would highly recommend coming here for any jewelry needs!

The jeweler also recommended a new crown/head on my wedding ring, as the prongs on mine had worn down a ton over the 25 years I've been wearing it. Ida was very helpful and managed to get my ring back to me much earlier than the 5-day time I was quoted. She was helpful, friendly, and so very warm. Happy for her that she's retiring, but I'll be sad not to see her next time I go in for something at this great store.

Wow, I cannot fully express my experience had at Reliable Pawn thru this written review, but I will tell you this. If you've never been, you really need to stop by and see for yourself, the proffesionalism, the friendliness, and the comfort you'll receive by just walking in the door. A friendly greeting by the staff is only part of the pleasant pressure free environment as you're able to simply and freely browse the showroom floor, providing hands on access to quality merchandise and offered at greatly reduced prices. All this without the harassment from some representitive breathing down your neck, asking questions, demanding to know the reason for your visit. On the other hand, if you're in a hurry, their never short staffed team of non neck breathing reps will quickly assist you with whatever it is you need, whether it be an item you were interested in selling, taking a loan on, or just had an interest in what it may be worth. Every member of their staff that I have dealt with, has yet to fail at identifying the item, its manafacturer or origin, and if a question can't be answered, they will research with you to find the answer. This is appreciated, rather than the associate just blurting out some B.S. in hopes to appease you for just that moment. This is a hard quality to find and again, this is only what I've come to find and solely based on my experiences. I suggest that you create an experience of your own, it is then that you, and only you, can make a fact based decision on what to expect. In the meantime however, I vouch for their service. I truly can't see your experience being any less satisfying than that of any of mine. I am not some big spender or high ticket holder in the slightest, so please don't think there's any reason I may receive any kind of special treatment, that is not the case. -Last thing in closing...after reading a certain review that seems to be the result of some horrific event spent in this very same establishment-- providing that I first add, I wasn't there so therefore, any comment by me based on the experience shared, holds no weight and should only be taken with the most sincere intent--I'd like to share an example that may be somewhat of a brighter side comparison to the nightmarrish version I stumbled upon in my reading. Let's say I were to enter your (anyones, no one in particular) home and taking a liking to your shoes that just so happened to be up for sale, I offer you a dollar, not seeing your asking price of two dollars to be a fair market value or regardless, a price I am comfortable paying in exchange for the shoes at this time. You, in all fairness, explain that you can't or even just won't give up the shoes for a dollar, it wouldn't be a good business decision on your part, seeing as how you may have paid more. Whatever the reason may be, you just can't part with the shoes at that price. Now while everyone acts or reacts differently to certain situations, I'll do my best to as accurately as possible, paint a motion picture in your mind as to how this reaction (based on what I read) may have went down. As my feet stomp and face turns red, my vision blurs just slightly as the tear ducts in each of my eyes release moisture. Now normally, this would be the expected reaction of a young child that had just been denied access to, let's say, a cookie--for example. In this interpretation however, these tears are the reaction of the sharp pain that has shot up my legs and partially into my spine due to the stomping of my feet without shoes, lol. Nevertheless, I storm out of the store and long story short, and as rumor may have it. I very shortly after find another pair of shoes. Not only are they the same pair of shoes, but they're in better condition and offered at a price below that of the pair I had originally wanted. Maybe it's just me, but I think I'd be so happy with my purchase that I may even want to thank you for your higher price. In all actuality, had you accepted my offer, my shoes wouldn't be as nice as the ones I now have. This reaction seems to be quite the opposite, leading me to believe that there must be something else going on that hasn't been mentioned. I don't know, I may be jumping to conclusions, but it sounds like someone's Jordans may have turned out to be Gordans, maybe the swoosh (nike symbol) faced the wrong direction? Whatever the case may be, it's a shame you had such a bad taste left in your mouth and hopefully things are looking up for you as we head into a new year. To the rest of you, if you're looking for some better than competitive pricing on a large selection of inventory, or maybe you're low on cash and want to add some merchandise to it, either situation can be professionally dealt with by the team at Reliable Pawn. Broke my iPhone AND my back up phone and went in looking for an unlocked phone or a T Mobile phone. Reliable came in clutch! Had a T Mobile phone, powered up, and ready to go. Gary happily opened up the phone, gave me a crash course on sim cards and all the how to's, and then, when I came up a few dollars short, he smiled and said "Merry Christmas". (Shout out to GARY! Your awesome!) I really appreciated that he was so kind and helpful to me. Not to mention, all the other guys (a few too many to name) were friendly and offered any info they could contribute about the phone and carrier. Its not often I go into a pawn shop, in fact, this may have been the first time I have without being dragged there by whatever "male" I happen to be with. They definitely squashed whatever wild and crazy image I had in my head about pawn shops. By far Reliable is the place to go! They are top notch! As head set design supervisor for a major motion picture company, one of my jobs is to document and record with photographs some of the many and varied sets we design. I have always relied on my tried and true Pentax and Canon SLR cameras and lenses from the 1970's. These are in my opinion some of the best personal cameras and lenses ever made. But as always when things age and get used a lot they wear out or break down. I am constantly searching online and in local Pawn shops for these old obsolete cameras and lenses. A couple of years ago I walked into Reliable Pawn and found a treasure trove of "Stuff"! Among which were some of the items I use daily in my work. Gary and the other guys were very cordial and made me a great deal. Since that time whenever I need an item, before searching online or Craig's list, I stop into Reliable Pawn. More often than not I find what I am looking for and if not they always have a lot of interesting items that I can use. I might add that on several occasions I have been given a few items just as gifts. I'm happy to have came across this pawn shop. After my recent move I have had to free up some of my possessions and raise some money, in doing so I had stopped by plenty of different pawn shops on my commute. After coming here I stopped searching for other places. These guys actually are willing to work something out with you when most every pawn shop will give you the door. Remember, they are a business and hope to stay in business so you can't expect they'll buy all you have but, this is how business should be done. I came in 5 minutes after they were CLOSED and these guys actually let me in and took care of me when they could have simply turned me away. These guys have been in town for what feels like forever definitely the hot spot for random finds a bit of a cross between a jewelry emporium an old fashioned hardware store antique shop music store geek squad style computer services. As far as the loans goes not sure haven't tried it but seems like a good choice for a quick cash they hold something valuable of yours and give you money to spend for a few months until you can pay back the loan and get your stuff back oldest game in the book this was all explained to me by the manager wasn't much for chit chat but he seemed very busy and I appreciated him taking the time to talk to me about drill drivers and show me his that were available this is only my latest experience but I have popped in here two or three times a year for over a decade now always good stuff they are reliable true to their name read more

I bought a beautiful guitar from Gary and I bought it online, so I wasn't in the actual store. The pictures were exactly representative of what I was buying as was the description of this guitar. Everyone was easy to work with and they were extremely helpful when I had questions. They paid the shipping and handling and the guitar came to me quickly all the way on the east coast. A great buying experience! I purchased a great '78 Les Paul from Reliable Pawn listed on eBay. Gary and Sam are friendly and great at quickly answering any questions I had. The listing was excellent, with great pictures of the guitar and a very accurate description. This guitar would be shipped up the coast to Vancouver, BC. USPS international express was used and I had the guitar 5 days after completing the sale, that is as good as it gets! The packing of the guitar was superb - the guitar was packed with extra packing inside the case and then the whole case plastic wrapped. They really helped me A LOT. I gave them an IPod back in October and it had a LOT of centimental value. I REALLY didn't want to pawn it but I was in a very tight spot and needed cash Fast!. So luckily after months gone by they still had it in their wharehouse and were willing to work with me (since I had no money) and do a trade. I brought in a pre-paid cell phone that I had recently purchased and was unable to return (thanks Radio Shack, for telling me about your REBOXING FEE) a couple gold plated chains and a cubic zirconia ring. Just like Bob Barker and their cute reference to the TV show 'THE PRICE WAS RIGHT' from "Behind Door 3" ! This dude does not give you any problems. He gets right down to the point, and I know that this is a tough business, but he make sure to be able to get you the best deal that he can. I live in Ohio and my experience with Gary from Reliable Pawn Shop was through eBay when I saw a pair of Blue wireless headphones and contacted Gary about them for more info he was very informative so I ended up purchasing them for an amazing price there was no user manual for them as Gary told me this in the beginning so I was totally shocked when the next I got an email from him telling me where I could download one and that he went ahead and changed and changed the shipping speed from standard shipping to Priority Mail. This is my go to pawn shop, they do four month loans instead of six month like the other guys which ends up working really well for me, I pay less in interest fees since I usually pick up my stuff fairly quickly. Besides that the main owner, Gary, is a true friend. I even lost my laptop once due to some personal issues I was going through, and he helped me save it, and brought it back from their warehouse in tact and with all my info on it still. I don't know how he did it but he did. We are lucky to have a place like this here in Simi Valley, I would gladly drive 50 miles to pawn or shop here, but they are just down the street, what a true blessing read more

Reliable Pawn rocks, i even like going in there just to chat, theyre really good people to deal with. I have been pawning here for years and ive been late a few times and like most pawn shops will be like "too bad, so sad" but not them, they let me slide, of course i called and talk to them but i wasnt expecting them to cut me slack and so they did. I was stoked. I highly recommend Reliable Pawn, they are the nicest pawn guys i have ever dealt with. I trust these guys. I would just like to say that this pawn shops name says it all. My husband and I came in looking for a used electric guitar at a good price, for some practice. The man at the front (I forgot his name but he was a younger man) helped us find the right guitar for us. He was very kind and didn't give any BS. About a month ago I purchased a laserdisc player from here off of eBay. The player came as described and they shipped out immediately to me, it got to me 3 days sooner than what eBay said it would arrive. It was protected better than Fort Knox, with bubble wrap and peanuts. I had issues sitting up the player and sent Reliable an email. They responded within the hour and sent me a link to a digital manual and were able to answer other questions that I had about the player. They were polite, professional and helpful in every way. I could not have asked for better customer service!!! I could not imagine any other pawn shop doing what they have done for me! I had lost an item that is very important to me due to not renewing, or buying back my property in the months that was listed on my reciept. I was 15 days over due, when i realized that this item was no longer mine they worked with me very well and kindley let me renew my item so it was still under my name and I am now able to buy it back at the same price in the begging. I refuse to go into tool debt, and Snap-On isn't in the budget, especially new. They actually have used Snap-On stuff and since it's used, it's in great shape and not as crazy expensive. The dudes working there are friendly and funny, & will keep it super real with you. Like I had an airsoft gun that I wanted to pawn off and they were like, "It's really not worth much, better off just keeping it". I've bought many tools here, most are old and really well built. The most memorable find was a massive ancient Japanese pipe wrench, this thing is all cast iron and super heavy for serious work. This pawn shop is a huge step up from many places that just sell tools in sets so they're actually kinda expensive, whereas here you can buy a drill one trip, then some batteries & a charger the next time and not have to drop tons of money in one fell swoop.
