We had some small leaks in our fountain for over a year. We had someone somewhat familiar with fountains, trying all different things and nothing worked. We were so frustrated! I went on Yelp to see if anyone professional could do the job. (Yes - we should have called MUCH earlier). Reliable Ponds had great reviews! I called Tessa before Christmas, and as we were away over the holiday, we agreed that she would come out in January. Even on the phone, she was able to answer questions and suggested we refinish the fountain with Diamond Brite. Tessa and Eric both came out to start the project. Eric also talked about lighting up the fountain and as we had wanted lights, he was able to add them. Now our fountain runs perfectly with no leaks, and the lights Eric put in look spectacular! Very unreliable. I had appointment for Friday between 4and 5. Tess confirmed around 3 pm for Saturday. I told her our appointment was Friday. She texted me back that she couldn't make it Friday but will be there Saturday between 11 and noon. Noon came and went. I sent another text asking for an ETA with no reply. It is now Sunday with no reply so I hired someone else to replace our pump in our koi pond Advice....hire someone else!!!! read more

I became too busy to keep up with my indoor koi pond and zen garden. I needed pressure cleaning, weeding, a new filter, and my lights rearranged. Tess and Erick did a wonderful job! I used reliable ponds. It was Chaos the entire time. They had 13 Koi and two passed away. She posted on a Facebook group asking what to do. Tessa came to look. We didn't know she owned a business and same night she ripped up the liner and took all the fish out and put them in city water with de-clorinator. That night 10 of the fish jumped out as they were unhappy with the new water. The remaining two died when they were sucked up in to a filter she placed in the bucket with no cap. They then choose to put diamond brite in to the jacuzzi. We did not know this was bad for fish until after the fact. They told her the price and paid it as We were very nieve to ponds. The next day they told us the price was even higher and lied to me about using 30 bags of concreat when I had on camera that they only used 6 extra. I watched Alan bring the bags in the house. She Was changed an extra $250. They left and the water was bad for months. She was told it was the plants, animals peeing, raccoons pooping and every other excuse when really it was just the diamond brite causing issues. They had to call in another pond company to come and help get it fixed and make the water safe again. Such a waste of money and energy. Icing on the cake my 6 year old was promised two new fish by Tessa, showed her videos and everything. Got her hopes up and after months of the pond not being ready the fish were no longer available. It was heartbreaking. I would stay far away from this company. Then this is the message she sent to my father. I've never had a company talk to me like this ever! Very unreliable. Their name is ironic. They never followed through on correcting their mistakes. They gave no written guarantee or receipts of their work / equipment. Then they kept harassing us for payment. We had to hire other companies to make repairs on their mess. Stay away! read more

BEWARE of this woman! See the below text message chain. It does not let me insert it all, but you should get the gist. She got super nasty with me for no reason accusing me of trying to screw her out of some money and despite all my texts saying I would check everything when I got home, she got nastier and nastier. End result, she had made an error in her account of how much my deposit check was. She refers numerous times below to it being $1336.77, where once I signed on to the bank, it turns out the deposit check was $1636.77. I made her and her partner Alan aware of this and sent a copy of the deposit check and no apology, nothing. So now I have actually overpaid $75, did not get my $15 plant and have not been shown how to care for my pump as promised. Additionally, not sure what he did on the last visit with the water, but some of the fish are dying. Please note there is a balance of 224.13 for this project. 7 bags of white rocks total plus labor and digging was 277.35. Original quote 3272.55 Deposit 1336.77 Balance 1936.78 Add on 276.35 Minus today 1990 Please remit payment of 224.13 Alan and I went through it and he agreed to what I paid.
