I believe that Icon Realty was involved in hacking my bank account. I leased an apartment in the heart of las olas/Fort Lauderdale from December 2016, from Atlantic loft llc. I agreed to pay a 2 month security deposit of $2400 as well as first, last and security (pretty standard) got my key, etcétera. After 2 different companies handling our property, ICON Realty came in January 2020 and revamped property by implementing a ***online payment service ***** aka , a way to get into your bank account. I questioned who this is and why I had to use this system to pay, not only to be replied with "It is our new system and you have to use it, you must pay rent this way or consult your attorney" As I went ahead and used it but decided to not renew my upcoming ending lease of 3/30/20. I emailed, texted and explain that I would not be renewing the lease because not only I don't trust the payment system, I had a very difficult time communicating with Benjamin (who by the way runs the whole thing). He ignored all my calls and the ones he replied, he did very rudely. I promptly moved out on schedule and handed him the keys along with my original lease agreement. He took the keys and said that He did not have a refund and I would need to wait 30 days to receive one on the mail. Now 30 days later. My bank account has been HACKED and bank investigated the multiple charges leading back to that January rent payment. I have been getting random withdrawals from different wiring entities totaling over 1k so far. Due to covid19, I can not yet file a claim in court. And the reason I am writing this is to WARN tenants and landlords about companies like this! I am attaching the refund check I just received. What a joke! See you in court.

Deluxe Realty LLC made a claim against my security deposit for alleged unpaid rent and damages. I…read moreformally objected by certified mail and included proof that they had cashed my last month's rent check, along with a complete move-out walkthrough video and photos showing the unit was left in excellent condition. There were several other things noted that were marked up astronomically that fell under wear and tear by law. After receiving no response to my objection, I had no choice but to file a small claims lawsuit to recover my security deposit. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company. Sorry but these people are crocks based off the other reviews and my personal experience.

We paid a $300 rental application fee for a property at 3880 Lyons Rd #211 in Coconut Creek. Shortly afterward, we noticed what appeared to be mold around multiple air vents throughout the apartment, something that had not been disclosed to us beforehand. Within approximately 30 minutes of making the payment, we canceled the application because of our concerns about the condition of the apartment and immediately requested a refund. Despite how quickly we canceled, the $300 was not returned. We attempted to resolve the matter directly with Paola Cordoba and Ariel Giglio, the broker associated with Deluxe Realty LLC, but were unable to reach a resolution. Based on our experience, we were very disappointed with how the situation and our refund request were handled.
