I agree with the above negative comments. This has to be the worst run medical office I've ever encountered. When you call the office it automatically goes to voicemail. I've been calling for several months asking for an appointment, no response. Also have left messages asking for information regarding my medical records, again, no response. Dr. Azar rarely sees patients and allows her nurse practitioners to take care of just about everything. I have been left with no recourse so I plan on contacting the state board. read more

Dr Azar is totally amazing. After 20 years my problem is taken care of. Thank you a million times.

First off, I went to Dr. Azar as a referral from my primary doctor as I had just moved to Tennessee. First visit was with a nurse practitioner, she did the pap smear. I was put on HRT which I requested. I started bleeding after 3 months of treatment, so I went in to see why I started bleeding. The nurse practitioner asked some questions and then proceeded to tell me I might have cancer and I might have to have a hysterectomy. She suggested an ultrasound which i did. I went back today for the results of the ultrasound. Was stuck in a room half naked, don't know why she had to do another exam. I was told so the Dr. could explain my ultrasound, I guess. Waited for an hour with no one checking on me, so I left. As I was waiting for a copy of my ultrasound results and pap results, no one bothered to find out why I was leaving. They don't care about their patients, just the money they receive for all the unnecessary exams they take. Then I had the office manager contact me to find out what happened and then tried to make excuses for the staff. STAY AWAY FROM THIS OFFICE. BAD BUSINESS PRACTISES. read more

I've been a patient for many years and she's been kind and thorough and a excellent surgeon. I have recommended her to others many times.

I honestly don't know if dr Rena azar is a good doctor or not. I had an appointment with her nurse practitioner and because I respect people's time and schedule I arrived 10 minutes prior to my appointment time. I filled out my paperwork and was ready to go by the time my appointment rolled around....time continued to pass about 15-20 minutes after my appointment was supposed to start I got called back to have my vitals taken then taken to a room and told to undress and that she would be in shortly. I have two small kids with me and so time is of the essence. I sat on her table and chased my toddler around the room for about 40 minutes, I then dressed and left. The receptionist was quite rude when I left she said "that's pretty typical for a specialist". No it's pretty typical of an office where the office manager doesn't know how to properly schedule appointment slots. I will not be back. read more
