Right when I walked in (modern, no-nonsense vibes with pops of greenery) I felt at home. Alyson took the time to pick out and break down the things I liked and didn't like about my "inspiration photos" and we decided on a beautiful copper blend for the color and a layered haircut that would be easy to maintain and style daily. I keep my hair short and spunky, so if something goes wrong, I usually don't have to wait very long until I can fix it. That being said, I'd obviously rather not have to wait for the hairstyle I want. At the same time, I don't want to spend over $40 on a haircut. Like I said, I keep my hair short, so I don't really see how salons can justify charging me a ton of money to chop off less than an inch of hair. I found New Image after hours (no exaggeration) of searching on the web. Something about the way they portray themselves on their website really drew me in, so I called to make an appointment and they got me in the same day. My stylist was Michelle, and I knew pretty much right away that the experience would be perfect. She asked what I was interested in and I gave her a general idea of the hairstyles I like. We were on the same page right away. I told her that I like to give my stylists creative license to do what they think is best...they are trained to do the job, after all. Michelle carefully explained what she had in mind, and all systems were go. Throughout the entire process, Michelle was very friendly and personable. 30 minutes later, I left with one of the best haircuts I have had in a very long time. Michelle said that if within a week I notice any issues, I can come back in and have it fixed free of charge. Major bonus. The shampoo, cut, and dry normally costs $25, but with an online coupon from their website, I paid $22.40. Perfect price! I'm so relieved I've found a local salon and stylist I can count on. I'll definitely be back!

This place has never done me wrong. Natalie is a phenomenal hair stylist who keeps it simple and understands exactly what I'm looking for. I love how she explains thoroughly what she's going to do and is able to execute it perfectly. I would highly recommend this salon to anyone who's looking to get amazing quality hair cut/color.

From the minute I was seated in the chair I was made to feel that it was an inconvience for the staff that I walked through the door. The first words spoke to me were, " you have a lot of hair and you will be here for at least two hours for a cut and color." I replied confirming I understood it would take a while and that was ok with me. The employee looked frustrated as if she hoped I wouldn't have my hair done. She walks away, comes back and tells me we will have to do a strand test for coloring and that will take another hour. Once again I say that's ok. She leaves and comes back again. This time she tells me my hair looks to damaged and she can't do my hair. I leave in total disbelief regarding what just occurred. Point out period, she did not want to do my hair. In 15 years I have NEVER been treated this way at a salon. My hair is just beyond my shoulders and is in healthy condition. The reason I know this is because I scheduled another hair appointment at a different salon and I asked about the condition of my hair. The stylist told me your hair is in pretty good condition and just needed a trim. I got colored n cut as I always do and left another salon very happy. As a business owner I treat every customer as if they are the single most important person. Sorry for the long post but this salon needs revamped in regards to their staffing. I've had Maggie, Ashley, & Ashley Frank in the past & left very pleased every time! This morning I went in for an updo (for anniversary pictures later in the day). The updo by Ashley Frank was $55 before t&t. Totally worth not having to stress over making my hair look good for pics in this summer heat! She rocked this updo! During Covid the salon requires all guests & staff to wear masks & only except card payments at this time. Staff sprayed & wiped down stations between every client. I made an appointment & was instructed to call from my car upon appointment arrival. Overall I've been very pleased with this salon for a number of years. From a client perspective, over the last year since the transition to the new Cost Cutters name, it feels that not much has changed!
