    Cheesecake with blueberry drizzling

It was my birthday! The bartender, atmosphere, waitresses, drinks and food were so amazing! They're very friendly. The bartender was very knowledgeable about different spirits and gave his recommendations on different bourbon and also suggestions from the restaurant. I ordered 2 old fashioned bourbon drinks and a cheesecake with blueberry drizzling so Yummy

My family and I traveled to Minneapolis so that our daughter could perform at the local highschool. We decided to stay at the Renaissance Minneapolis Bloomington Hotel. Upon arrival the hotel has an amazing front awning. Making reservations online made everything easy to check in and the service was wonderful. The front desk has all of these hiking decorations that bring smiles to our faces because my wife and I are both hikers who love to travel to different trails and check out Minnesotas amazing areas. As you walk to the elevators you immediately see a library where all the covers were torn off the books. The trend for this library is "don't judge a book by it's cover." How cool is that? The Amentie's of this fine hotel comes with a pool, a hot tub, and a gym with great equipment. There also is a bar and an elegant dining room to enjoy your continental breakfast. When we arrived to our room it was a tight squeeze with our dolly cart with all of our baggage but we were able to get in without a hitch. The room is elegant with modern art on the walls, the beds were pressed with clean and fresh linens, a desk sat in the corner so I can attend important school work with my laptop, and a mini fridge below where the tv sits. Not only did I get to see my beautiful daughter dance, but I got to enjoy some amazing family time. If we come back to the cities for an overnight trip we will definitely be coming back to the Renaissance. #schroyerfamilydaily #hotel

I like staying here. Staff is very nice and accommodating. Rooms are clean and if you need anything the staff is happy to help. Rooms are clean- lots of counter space in bathroom. Bunch of towels. Beds sleep well and various pillow choices. There's a single row of parking outside the front with a few handicap spaces. Elevators are fast. Club level has breakfast and a dinner/snack each evening. Some parking can feel far on each side and a bunch of steps- I'm not sure how to describe it. I tend not to park down there as I overpack and I don't want to carry my bags up the steps. There's a pool and hot tub- I haven't used those. WiFi is good- it's my go to spot when traveling to the twin cities.

My Daughters and I came to Bloomington/ Minneapolis for a vacation. I chose this hotel because I seen all the great reviews. Booooyyyyyy, Was I Mistaken for staying here. Our room was beyond trashed. The Hampton Inn across the parking lot looks luxurious compared to this hotel. Our room (105) was Dirty and Dusty! Broken TV, broken window shade, bugs (we found a small worm in our bathroom and a spider by the desk). All This Happened The First Night! Horrible start. I spent $1200 for 4 nights here. So, not worth it. The only great thing about this Hotel is the STAFF. Very friendly, other than that. Look elsewhere! Ugh. We have another 3 days and I'm nervous about what else is going to happen.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Renaissance Hotel in Bloomington, MN. Parking was free, it wasn't crowded, and the pool area wasn't filled with loud and obnoxious kids. The room was very clean, and the 4th floor was quiet. The fitness center was a neat design, next to the pool. The TV screens either weren't working or had a malfunction on one of the treadmills. Food was good at their restaurant and at the concierge lounge when it was available. Housekeeping did an amazing job during my time there and this was greatly appreciated.

Pros: clean, new, sizable and comfortable. Great little convenience store and plenty of pods and sociable areas to sit. Checkout is 12 (great!) and was easy to push that back even further. High value for money Con: don't get a room by an exit. It's a busy hotel so heavy foot traffic at exits and the doors aren't insulated enough to mitigate the noise. It kept me up all night. Everything else was great.

Spacious closet area as well- included ironing board / iron too

This is going to be my new favorite place when traveling into town! A really great ambiance in their lobby with spacious seating areas to ensure you can work and enjoy yourself during your visit. The rooms are separated into two "towers" and I have no complaints about my experience! Spacious room with great Aveda amenities - can't wait to come again!

Great reception staff - very helpful. Clean rooms. Kind of disappointed that the club lounge was closed, our keys never worked to enter the gym facility and that the bar wasn't open during the weekend.

As I checked in the wife bad mouthed the new hotel that shares their parking lot. I was just inquiring because their phones weren't working and I tried booking with them prior. Had no idea she would go on and on improperly dissing on them. Saying their staff is aweful, etc. I'm sure she was speaking about her own staff. I had a do not disturb sign on my door. The maid entered anyway, rummaged thru my personals, helped herself to what she wanted, cleaned some, opened the curtains wide open and left all my lights on exposing my room to the street all day/night. I returned to my room after 9:30pm - the sign was still hanging on my door. I travel with a pillow since I recently had surgery on my legs. She took my $80 pillow, my iPad, a jar of pickles, $40 I had on the counter, and 2 pks of gum. Both owners could care less and wouldn't help me. I should have filed a police report. Both owners take no ownership of the failing business they have, but brag they've owned it 19 years Stop do not pass Go! A shady old hotel that should be knocked down. Don't be bothered here even if their price seems good - they will steal from you because they feel entitled. They allow smoking in the building that suffocates you in your room. They made the stupidest excuse saying the fan sucks the cigarette smoke from the outside of the building and brings it into the rooms. Insanity! Being in the hospitality business you would expect a helpful attitude. Instead they are opposite. It appears this family thinks they are still in India. And have no understanding of what's expected in America. The owner told me that I'm old and am not remembering correctly about my personals - not addressing they have a thief on their staff and they entered a room with a Do Not Disturb sign on my door. And then he accused me of pooping my bed. Pooping my bed! And he has pictures! But wouldn't send them to me. Very unprofessional! Maybe his wife made him change a poopy diaper before he spoke to me. When I arrived home I noticed I left my rug behind. Of course they denied it was there. It was a plush rug that felt much better on my feet than that dingy old crap carpet they had in the room! This was the worst experience I've ever had in a hotel and regret the con job of convincing me to stay! The feeling of someone going thru your things and actually taking from you is indescribable! I'm still in shock to the behavior of these owners. They've trained their staff to reflect them. Bunch of thieves and liars!

Thanks to Hotels.com, where I booked my hotel room at the Hampton Inn Bloomington East. Hampton Inn is a good name hotel brand that's owned by Hilton hotels, I believe. Fast forward when I arrived here via Uber from the Mall of America after a day of shopping and things. I stayed here for a night and it was comfortable and pleasant. I arrived here around 4pm on a Friday afternoon and got checked in. The front desk counter Service here was pretty good and got checked in within five minutes. The check out service was non existent since I left the hotel around 6am and there was a hotel key lockbox, so I just dropped the hotel key in there and checked out the complementary hotel breakfast before I was on my way. It was only one night and enjoyed a few of the hotel's amenities, namely the ice machine and the aforementioned complimentary breakfast. I choose the hotel because of its proximity to Normandale Lake Park, which was around a mile walk from the hotel. I enjoyed the lobby and it was fresh and clean. The hotel room I got was a king bed. I probably paid about $149/night but that was okay, since I wanted to be close to the park. The hotel room itself was good and typical. It was clean and had all the basic amenities most hotels in the industry has. It was a typical hotel room that met expectations and was a good stay. Everything worked in the room, including the TV and the shower. No problems during my stay and it was good. The overall experience here at this Hampton Inn hotel in Bloomington, MN was good and nice. I feel like Hampton Inn is a good place to choose for your hotel needs. The brand is owned by Hilton, I believe, so you'll be in good hands. The room itself had a mini fridge and a microwave in the room. Getting else was standard. It is cool to be lounging in the room, eating dinner, while watching TV. Something cool and nice about it while traveling away from home. The room itself was clean and everything worked the way it should be. The complimentary breakfast was hit or miss. It just depends on what you enjoy in a good breakfast. I did enjoy unlimited self service orange juice though. Had about 5 cups of it before I left the hotel to Normandale Lake Park. The king bed was quite nice and very comfortable. Got in a decent amount of sleep and felt moderately Refreshed for the day ahead. Definitely enjoyed the stay here at this Hampton Inn location in Bloomington, MN. Whether your stay in Minneapolis is business or pleasure, consider this Hampton Inn hotel to be your place to stay and thrive. While Hampton Inn does cover the basics of a full service hotel, it doesn't have everything like many of the fancy ones do. Prices here are reasonable per night and the location is in a nice neighborhood away from the downtown area of Minneapolis. This Hampton Inn hotel is located in Minneapolis, MN. It's about a 15 ish minute drive from the Mall of America in Bloomington. Like many hotels in the industry, they accept major credit cards thru direct bookings on their website or through 3rd party websites like Hotels.com. They are physically located at 1234 Main Street, Bloomington, MN. As far as parking goes, they have parking here for hotel guests. Not sure if they do long term parking for other people but probably a money make for certain. Not sure about Minneapolis' public transportation options, but best bet would be to check out what routes are needed to arrive at this hotel, whether it's coming from the airport or wherever your origin destination may be. The hotel is in a nice quiet neighborhood of Minneapolis, so you can be sure that you have a good reason to come to this Hampton Inn and have an enjoyable stay, whenever the need arises. Consider the Hampton Inn hotel as your home away from home when you visit the Hampton Inn. It was a nice stay and hope to return again when my future travels permit me to do so. 5.0 stars for the overall experience, namely the location to Normandale Lake Park. 4.0 stars for the service and 4.5 stars for the room comfort.
