She doesn't force her ideas on you but listens carefully to what you want, considers and carries out specific ideas you may have, understands your hair needs, offers advice when needed and guides you to look your best. I started going to Renata in Chelsea after having my first child as I needed a permanent method of straightening my hair as it was taking me ages with hair straighteners. From the first day I met her, I knew she was a professional and an expert in yuko hair straightening. Prior to meeting her she answered all my questions on the phone and gave me the reassurance I was after, as this was a big step for me and my haircare routine. The results after my first treatment was amazing. Renata gave me advise on how I should be careful with my hair colouring too as at the time I had a lot on blonde highlights and she advised using lower level of peroxide to ensure my hair doesn't get damaged from too many chemicals in my hair. Nearly 4 years on and she really is the best in her field. Renata's new place in Hampstead is beautiful, very calm and she looks after her clients like VIP's. Renata is the BEST. She KNOWS Yuko hair straightening - she was even trained by the infamous Yuko Yamashita herself. She's knowledgeable, asks questions about your hair to evaluate its condition and she will be honest about how to proceed. She won't even do it if she feels your hair is at risk so you won't waste your money. She is also skilled in Brazilian Keratin Straightening as well if your hair is not in the right condition for Yuko. Renata is talented, humble and accommodating. Renata Jon is a truly fantastic hairdresser. Renata have been using the Yuko system on my hair for the last 10 years. Renata have moved to a few different hair salons through out the years and I have been following her ever since. For the last few years I went to see Renata in the salon in Chelsea. Ever since her new salon opened in Hampstead ,I have been travelling from Chelsea to Hampstead as I prefer her stylish ,modern place.It doesn't take me long at all to travel from Chelsea to North London (Hampstead). I live now in Ascot and I still travel to Hampstead just to see Renata! For the past decade I have been gettng Yuko treatments every 6-9 months. I have had this done in Boston US, London Yuko, and other salons in London. I started going to Renata a few years ago. She is very professional, takes her time, and exhibits perfection in her work. She remembers her clients which is very important when you are performing Yuko treatments as the condition and type of hair is an important part of doing this right. I recently had a bad experience when I opted to get Yuko done while in US, only because I was there for a while and needed the treatment at that time. I was devastated at the outcome, but Renata was able to recover the damage and miraculously fix the areas where Yuko was not processed correctly. I visited Renata for the first time today (23/07/12) for yuko straightening and shes amazing! Very friendly, polite and professional. She is great at what she does and a real perfectionist.
