Hard pass!!! My wife was so stressed when she did not receive her wedding flowers. The florist refused to be accountable for messing up the order,or correct it. I had to drive across town to retrieve the original receipt, on my wedding day ,to hold this person accountable. All the groomsmens boutonnieres came with lace we didnt want or request. As if sending the wrong flowers and making the bridesmaids bouquets larger than the brides wasn't enough, the brides bouquet literally fell apart as she began her walk. The flower situation was definitely the highlight of the day in the worst way. Weddings are stressful enough, the last thing the bride should have to worry about is the flower arrangements she's already paid for. Hard pass! read more

Renata's was just what I was looking for, a flower and gift shop close to Kaiser Downey. She already had "its a Boy!!" bouquets ready. So that was effortless shopping, which I adore. The flowers were bright, cheery and even came with a cute psychedelic stuffed monkey toy. Again, I love stuffed animals and odd toys, so another win. She's got more typical Disney toys and stuffed teddys, but that's not my jam. I also got a Mylar balloon all under $30, which is a deal. I also loved how accommodating she was changing out ribbon colors. If you need an arrangement quickly in the area, drop in. She can personalize one if the prepped arrangements aren't to your liking. It's a dark little shop but decently stocked. And there's parking behind the shop!! Always a plus. read more

I came in to grab some flowers for my baby girls and she went above and beyond to make them look cute. She even added additional flowers making the arrangements look amazing. I helped a close friend plan her mother's repast. Renata, the owner of Renata's flowers in Downey, gave us linen that was stained and some with holes. She sent an employee to replace them after I sent her pics of the linen. When he arrived he couldn't replace them because he said the ones he had were just as bad. We had no choice but to camouflage the nasty stains as best as we could so the family could enjoy their day as best as they could. Renata wanted to pick up the linen during the repast while people were eating and socializing and leave them with nothing on the tables, despite being embarrassed of what she called water stains. Today she refused to give my friend a full refund because she said a few of them were ok and they shouldn't haven't went ahead and used the linen. She doesn't see anything wrong with her extremely poor customer service. She also said she trusted the last customer to wash them and can't believe the last customer returned dirty linen. After filling up with gas at ARCO on my way to a hot date I thought I'd pick up some flowers for the very special occasion. She was very attentive, asked what I wanted, what colors, and also had an awesome selection of plants that looked healthy and well-taken care of. The worst experice ever. I placed an order for for 5/10 I paid with taxes and everything 100 + dollars. I was expecting something nice to be delivered instead I got a fucken small arrangement that was worth $40 no more than 40 dollars . They had bigger arrangement in the fridge that were priced $60 and $75 dollars. Costco even has better arrange ment for $60 dollars.. stupid shop.. look at the picture just to prove I'm not making shit up. I would never go back or recommend a stupid shop that just take people's money. read more

My husband was sweet enough to surprise me with flowers. I can't be critical to him because it was a sweet thought. I could visibly see the flowers wouldn't last more than one day. The petals immediately started falling off and sure enough the next day the flowers were to be thrown out. He said they were very nice and wrapped them for him but that doesn't take away the fact that they should never have been sold to him. read more

I asked for specific flowers and colors and paid extra for certain flowers and was completely not what I wanted. Came here because it was the closest flower shop to the hospital while my wife was getting surgery. Obviously wanted to be quick to return to my wife. Upon checking yelp and arriving, both yelp and the sign on the door advertises this shop opened up at 9:00 am. Well I have now been here for 25 mins after 9 am and still closed. The flower arrangement I ordered and paid for in advance was not what I received when I went to pick them up. I ordered a carnation cross for my 9 year old nephew that had passed away. The owners daughter told me at the time I ordered the flowers that she could work with my budget we changed the flowers from the original photo to least expensive flowers also changing the blue ribbon around the cross because she said it takes two hours to make and that takes more time and money. I told her fine with my budget of 135.00 we both agree with greenery around the outside lining of the cross. There should have been 4 dozen of carnations on the arrangement. I counted the flowers once we got to church and their were only 18 carnations on the cross the rest of the cross was filled in with a cheap white flowers that fell apart when the sun hit them. I called to let the owners daughter know how unhappy I was. She never once apologized she keep repeating herself telling me she called to let me know she changed the flowers. She did call me said she would follow up with a picture text but never did. If she didn't have enough carnations to fill my order she should of reduced the price!..I would never go back to this place! read more
