And in most RANDOM stores I've found in Toronto, it's gotta be this one. Bebe is located just north of Pape Station and specializes in baptism and first communion clothing. It's Greek obvs. I know it's been around for over 20 years. I also know the window display just changed in 2010. It is the store that won't die. VIBE So for fun, I decided to go in here with a friend and it was so awkward because 1. we had to knock on the door to get in and 2. the lady didn't speak English. So naturally, we pretended we were married looking for a christening gown for our child. It didn't go over so well. The lady could hardly understand us. He never tried to pressure me with "upselling" and was very friendly and helpful. The store had a HUGE variety of hookahs, varying designs, sizes and price points - all moderately priced from what I could tell. The flavour bar has many, many flavours to choose from and all the modifications and parts you could want to make your hookah feel truly like your own. The store was clean, organized and the atmosphere was welcoming. I will definitely be back for more flavours, additional parts and would for sure recommend Shisha Mart to any friends and family.

So I guess it was from the battery anyhow. So I put the cartridge in a different battery that I have and it still didn't work and I had a few more cartridges that I had bought from the same place and they worked. So it was specifically this one cartridge that wouldn't work. So I'm explaining that to the guy behind the counter and you know he's being very pleasant, but he's almost acting like how unfortunate of a situation it is... Which I was wondering why would he be behaving this way? Isn't he just going to replace it? So I asked him I said so are you going to replace it or what happens from here? And he said oh no we don't replace them and I said but I just bought it yesterday I paid like 40 bucks for it and he said yeah no we don't do that. I was completely beside myself as I literally just paid 40 bucks for it yesterday and clearly it's the battery they gave me or it's the cartridge like it has nothing to do with me and so he gives me a piece of paper with yocan written on it and battery beside it I guess maybe I'm supposed to get hold of yocan and then underneath it it says back 40 cush mint that was the flavor of my cartridge LOL. So I don't know how that is supposed to help me When I'm gone out of your store so I get home anyways and I totally see that there's these random stupid things written on the paper makes no sense. So I call the store to try and find out what's going on because there's no way on Earth that I'm going to get screwed over for my 40 bucks. I literally go shopping there almost every single day of the week like I spend so much money there. It's outrageous!! So yeah I call the store back and the guy that was on the phone seemed really pleasant and I'm not sure what's going to happen from here. If I'm going to get some kind of help with this cartridge of mine or if they're just literally going to just act like it's no big deal because the guy said to me. Yeah that's not our problem like that your vape stopped working or your battery broke. That's not his problem. So whose problem is it? I gave you my $40 for the vape and then I gave you the 20 bucks for the battery. Like whose problem does this become.... There's also a stoked around here amongst a couple of other weed stores that I used before. Friendly stranger came in the neighborhood. See because friendly stranger I've been using since these weed stores came into effect. So once they moved into my neighborhood I naturally went and started using them. Well, that's not going to happen anymore when I use the other place around here. Stoked! If something happens to your vape or anything that you have, they will deal with it. They stand behind their name... So I was you know mortified you know losing with the battery like you know almost 60 bucks right? So I will no longer be using friendly stranger and I don't recommend any of you use it if you value your money because if something happens to anything you buy from them they are not responsible for it. They will not help you. They are just not interested so I'll be going back to stoked where they stand behind their product. They stand behind their name and yeah like a legitimate business should I'm going to give this five stars only because I do not want to give it one star or it will go right to the bottom and people need to read this. Like when you go to their store they should tell you when you first walk in and become a client. Just so you know we do not stand behind our name. We do not stand behind our products. I interacted with two staffers. One was great. The other one wasn't the best communicator, so I knocked my rating down to four stars. Markham has a new Healthy Planet, which is this one at the northeast corner of Woodbine Avenue and Highway 7. It is dubbed as the Markham West location, distinguishing it from the longtime one on McCowan Road, across from CF Markville Mall. This second location is where CanaBee Baby used to be. Before that, it was Michael-Angelo's, a grocery store that I still miss. I came here after work on a Wednesday evening. I scored a prime parking spot in front of D-Spot, which was directly across from Healthy Planet. I walked across the road and headed inside. I like this store far better than the original one. It has a cafe with large empanadas and samosas. I was impressed! You can get complimentary water by using the cooler. The catch is you need a water bottle or a cup. The produce section is also larger. I was floored to see whole organic watermelons going for $18 each. The older location didn't have enough room to house half the produce section here. This store is clean and inviting. Items are impeccably organized and labelled. I was mesmerized by the various drinks that this place had. I love drinks and there was so much variety that my head is still processing everything. I saw packages of tofu that were marked down by 30%. I decided to get the silken tofu. There was vegan chocolate on sale, next to the sugar-free varieties. I love that this place caters to dairy-free, gluten-free, and vegan diets. It felt so freeing looking at Daiya dips without worrying about dairy in them. The protein and supplement sections are insane here. I was looking for something specific by Bell Laboratories. A nice male staffer asked me if I needed any help. I rattled of the name of it and he knew exactly where it was. I was close. He was exceptionally helpful. He let me know that he attended a training session with Bell Laboratories. He said that the tea version that I had picked up would be more affective than the vitamin version because I would absorb the nutrients in the loose leaf tea much faster than its capsule formula. Cool! I went to pay at the checkout. I got a female who seemed friendly. She asked me if I had a rewards membership. I wasn't sure. Healthy Planet used to be a part of Five Stars for its points program. I remember a man from the other Markham location telling me to cut up the card because Healthy Planet was going with its own system. I didn't know whether I needed to re-register. Anyway, the woman asked for my phone number. I gave it to her. She didn't say anything. Judging by her facial expression, I was in the system. It's the main reason why my rating is four stars. She wasn't the best communicator. She was talking to a male staffer while scanning my items. She said, "Please wait." To whom? After scanning all my items, she just stood there. I said that I'd like to pay with a credit card. "Please wait," she said. Oh, you were talking to ME. No eye contact. No reason on why I was waiting. An older woman came over. I looked at the screen with all my items. It turns out that she had charged me $2 more than she should have. I give her props for fixing her error. She could have communicated it to me. Embarrassed? Or are you a poor communicator? Why not tell me that? I would have understood why we were waiting in the first place instead of being a woman of few words and almost hating to open your mouth to talk to a human being. Once the $2 was removed from my total, I could finally tap and pay. I gathered my items. She gave me my receipt. I wished her a good day. She seemed better and reciprocated. I grabbed my items and headed to my car. I put them away in my reusable bag. I then headed home. The vegan chocolate that had coconut in it was excellent. I finished the bar just now. Delicious! Thank goodness it was on sale. I liked shopping here. Better communication about erroneously adding $2 to my total would have been nice. I would have understood that we needed to wait for someone more senior to remove it from my total. Eye contact about waiting would have helped me figure out that you were talking to me and not your male colleague. Just blurting it would without any eye contact was odd. I'd return again.
