The vibe in this studio is so much more different in comparison to the old studio but I still like it. The workout although it doesn't involve a lot of cardio (jogging or running around the studio, jumping jacks, etc), feels intense because it concentrates a lot more with strength training. This week was my first day back since they transitioned mid last year and man, I feel SORE!!! My work had a lot of restrictions on what we can do as outside activities due to pandemic so I skipped moooonths of gym/studios. It was definitely great to be back and finally try out this new studio. There is PLENTY of space for social distancing, and each classes are limited to 20 people. The owner/instructor is a 5th Degree Black Belt that studied Taekwon-Do, BJJ / Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, and Kickboxing so rest assured you're going to get an excellent HYBRID workout! The schedule consist mainly of kickboxing which it transitioned from the old studio, and taekwon-do classes couple of nights a week! The classes are also ALL ages (from 8-12 and above) so you can even take your kids or young teens to work out with you! Their rate is reasonable and I believe it is great value for what you'll be receiving even if you're only able to attend twice week--but why only twice a week!?? I'm currently on nights so my schedule is limited to once or twice a week but when I return to days I can't wait to attend at least three times a week!!! The customer service is AWESOME!!! I got taken care of--with lots of love--with anything I needed from transitioning from my old studio membership to getting proper guidance during workout.

If you're looking for top-tier Jiu Jitsu instruction in an incredibly positive and motivating…read moreenvironment, this gym is the place to be! The level of detail in the instruction is amazing--every technique is broken down in a way that makes sense, whether you're brand new to BJJ or a seasoned competitor looking to refine your game. The coaches are brothers who quite literally grew up on the mats, and their passion and work ethic show in every class. They create an environment where everyone pushes each other to improve, and you can feel the sense of community from the moment you step in. What makes this gym even more special is its deep roots in Jiu Jitsu history. Their father was one of the original Dirty Dozen, meaning their lineage and knowledge come straight from some of the first black belts in the U.S. You can tell that tradition and excellence are at the core of their teaching. Another huge plus is the variety of classes offered throughout the day, giving you plenty of opportunities to train no matter what your schedule looks like. Whether you're an early riser, prefer evening sessions, or need flexibility throughout the week, they make it easy to stay consistent with your training. If you're serious about improving your Jiu Jitsu in a gym with world-class instruction and a supportive family-like culture, this is the place to train.

I stopped in to do some work with Nico and learned some boxing techniques. Homey and comfortable.read more
