I told her I was vaccinated and she repeated herself that I had to wear a mask. I explained that I'm hard of hearing and that I read lips. Again I was told that I needed to wear a mask. I asked if she had one and she said no. Her energy was so off putting that I didn't want anything to do with it so I left. After calming down I grabbed an old mask from my console and went back in. She was on the phone and stayed on the phone for several minutes while I waited and waited. Afterwards I stated my purpose and she said that I was rude. I thought the customer was always right? He does not over prescribe medications if your issues are related to allergies or sinus, but does offer solid advice on how to address them in our south Florida climate. He articulately explained how hearing loss, if left untreated, would contribute to cognitive decline, and affect other conditions such as diabetes and cardiac disease and high BP. Bottom line, I like him. A lot. He is part of a large practice with lots of support staff, and they all seem to work well together. And he isn't stuffy and full of himself.
