We were one of their 1st customers back in 2009. We moved from the area and and only came back occasionally. Things were good at 1st. The got the renter that was not paying out of the home and cleaned and set it up for renting. Got us a renter that stayed there until this year. We decided to sell the home. Rent solutions had always told us the renters were not interested in buying. I did not know until this year that we were even able to speak to the renters. I found out and rent solutions gave me their contact. When we called they proceeded to tell us all the problems with the home. They told me They had contacted RS several times. The repairs that were made were shotty at best. The renters sent me pictures and I had someone in town there go investigate. Outside lights falling off the house, which tells me RS never even did a drive by!! Rigged vents on my heater instead of replacing a new filter. Leak in the roof, they couldn't find it so just replaced inside ceiling tiles, which ruined my carpets. The back porch steps were falling apart. RS replaced the top boards. Left the green yucky wood frame! Door trims outside were falling off. sink leak...They replaced faucet, but didn't repair the wood underneath in cabinet. The buyers told me that they loved the home but was concerned as to what other issues would be found when actual repairs started. Had we contacted them a few years ago, they would have bought it. They told me they contacted RS several times about problems. Either nothing was done or it took forever. RS said they were never contacted and had a log to prove it. They sent me the log. It had very few things on it. It also did not have repairs I KNOW they made. RS said well sometimes they called the owner directly and those weren't logged. HHMM!!! So I believe the renters. Once the renters moved out it too us $10,000 to make all the repairs and get it to a state to sell it. RS said they were not responsible for any of it. I rented from Rent Solutions a few years back and honestly.. the best experience I could have ever asked for. When we first moved into the house we had quite a few issues which they fixed as quickly as possible. Through the next two years of renting there when any problems arose they were very patient and attentative with any issues. It was an old house so there were multiple repairs throughout the years. They made the decision of buying a house really hard since renting from them was so amazing and affordable. read more

I use to be a tenant for Rent Solutions. The problem started right before I found my home to live and own. I had problems with the furnace and air conditioner mind you all this happened in May 2020 in the beginning parts of the pandemic. I was still paying my rent on time and stayed there over 4years. They will send maintenance to the house for temporary fix mind you the furnace and a/c unit was over 20years old. So it was time for a new one . I was dealing with leaks in the basement and being hot upstairs. When it was time for me to leave Jason was mean and nasty. Once I moved out I called about my security deposit and to find out about the final walk-through because they never reached out. A week later I get a invoice in the mail saying I owe them $1100 from damage. Some of the charges included a stove which was at least 15 years old charging me $350, a toilet that was about 25 years $150 and many other things. I took them to court and they lost the case. Still to this day I have not received my security deposit. So back to the courthouse I go. Terrible Management and terrible attitude towards tenants. read more

This was the worst experience I ever had in my life I do not recommend any one to rent from this place they collected a deposit and a first months rent I did not get keys are leas at all after I paid money I never heard anything back from any one in the office it took two week for someone to contact me and when they did they were always so angry especially Jason he shows 0 respect for tenants after I finally sighed the leas I still didn't get keys and was not allowed to move In on time I had new furniture that was supposed to be delivered and it could not be delivered due to there negligence of the entire situation.i was so upset ive never experienced anything like there company ever . I was not allowed to move even though I paid and sighed leas they refunded my money on the day I was supposed to move I mean these are some kind of people and to top off that same place is on the market again for 100 dollars less now do not rent from rent solutions they are a disgrace to hard working families read more

Rude, arrogant and condescending. Jason was the most unprofessional agent I have met. He does not listen, makes assumptions and twists your questions and concerns to try to belittle you. He speaks over you most of the time and has absolutely no respect for you as a customer. After finally telling him I liked the home but would not rent from him personally, he went ballistic and spent the evening harassing me on text and phone calling me names and making statements that were just scary. I finally had to threaten to call the police three times if he did not leave me alone. This is the most unprofessional, not to mention creepy, individual I have dealt with yet. Promises a lot, but does not deliver! I rented a small apartment from this company after looking at one of their properties. The property manager offered to do some work on the apartment since it was apparent that it had been vacant for awhile. When it came time to sign the lease, there was no initial walk through. He did not even have the keys and told me they would be left inside my apartment. When I got there, the place was still a disaster. I had to spend a week cleaning it before I could move in. There were mouse droppings in the cabinet and cobwebs. It was an older place and rent was cheap, so I wasn't expecting a whole lot, but seriously? It just got worse. Mid-summer, the trash company changed from a dumpster to individual trash cans, which other tenants never took to the curb. As a result, they just piled the trash in the unkempt yard. That's a pretty strong smell when its hot outside. My bathroom floor began to rot. I contacted the property manager and owner to resolve this matter with no response. After I found mushrooms growing from my floor, I threated legal action and someone came out the next morning(without notice) to repair it. I ended up cancelling my lease to get out of that dump. They kept both deposits I made(standard and pet) and also decided to keep the stove I had brought with me since the one provided was a piece of junk. If I could give them less than one star, I would. This place is a joke, do not rent from these scumbags unless you need more problems in your life. Before you even sign a lease expect to be shown properties that in my opinion arent fit for human occupancy. They never answer the phone EVER! if they do by the off chance call you back expect a terrible attitude, and never expect to talk to the actual owner who I hear treats people like trash anyway. During my initial walkthrough I made a list of things that were already wrong with the house so they don't keep my deposit when I give it back the way I got it and sure enough they found ways to nickle and dime me out of my deposit. when I moved out of this nightmare of a house which was falling apart I asked them if I could leave some things behind I just didn't want anymore they said it was fine and then charged me for the cleanup fee which consists of throwing all the stuff I left in the front yard. Their so called "maintenance guys" are actually a bunch of ignorant hoosiers who couldn't fix something to save their lives. During the one year i was dealing with these guys i noticed their employees came and went pretty quick, some of them grew a conscience I guess. I wish i could give these guys -5 stars. Attempted to move in, and was surprised to find that they had destroyed the apartment between me signing the lease and moving into the place. There was a toilet on my porch. I'm sorry, let me repeat that A TOILET ON MY PORCH. Who does that? And to add insult to injury, I was verbally accosted by my neighbors smoking crack on their front porch. Who were conveniently not there when I viewed the apartment for the first time. While trying to get out of the lease for the crack den I had accidentally purchased, the OWNER called me a liar. Flat out. He called me a liar for not wanting the apartment and insinuated that I was a stupid girl and had no idea what I was talking about. Eventually I had to put my boyfriend on the phone because the sexist jerk wouldn't listen to me, and continued his libelous slander about me and eventually we had to tell him that we would press charges if my money was not reimbursed. I got my first month back, but lost 300 in the deposit. I'm sure there are better places you can waste your money and be insulted. You could probably hire someone to follow you around insulting you, for less than I lost on that stupid hole. read more
