Suggestion to follow exact address (I keyed in on Grand Palace area) We started our walking tour visiting various sites close to the Grand Palace area. We stopped at a couple of Chocolatiers for samples which were delicious. The Travel company now has their own kitchen that prepares the food. We had a Beer tasting. Mahleur which is a local craft beer. We had the Quad that was an award winner. The Mussels were large and delicious as well the Meatball dish. We were all commenting on how this was a substantial meal as we were expecting tasting portions. After lunch the walking tour continued and we ended at Mokafe Tavern where we had a waffle and choice of drink. I went with the Hot Chocolate. Wow! Both were amazing! Avo, our guide, was amazing. He's been around and gave us so many tips-where to go and what do in Brussels (I.e Downtown-good local food, High-town-Touristy) Would highly recommend this tour!

This will give you a discount on all train rides in Belgium for both classes of train service and the fee was paid off in just three rides for me. Furthermore try to book your tickets online so you can avoid the lines at the vending machines and you can just head through the gate. From arrivals after baggage claim just follow the train signs which was to my right and down to -1 level. All I had to do was scan my emailed ticket's QR code and it allowed me through the automated gates. If you have big luggage or stroller then on of the staff will manually open a pass through gate. However the escalators down to the track level wasn't working so had to hike it. There was an elevator if needed. Overall station was clean and well signed to find my train. The train to Brussels was a short one so don't walk to the end of the platform as the engine stops right next to the escalators. From the airport to Bruxelles-Luxembourg station took 18 minutes. By far the easiest way to Brussels in my opinion.

There were plenty of various restaurants, working areas and seating areas. The restrooms were very clean. After claiming the luggage, follow the signs to customs. Going through customs was to bad..... the signs will direct you which line to go to. Approximately, 15 minutes later, I was at the custom gate. After answering a few questions, I was on my way. Instead of taking a train, I decided to take an Uber to the hotel. Just follow the signs for the car sharing, taxi and bus area. By the time I got to the designated location, the car was with a few minutes. I didn't find this airport to be very difficult.

Unlike in Germany, it appeared that Brussels had not yet implemented the new customs system at arrivals so non EU citizens queued in one line. EU citizens zipped through with the electronic pass gates. However when it was my turn with the agent I only had to scan the fingers on my right hand, answered a question what do I do for a living and that was it. Less than a couple minutes surprisingl. Baggage claim was right after and then the exit. Very good signage that directed people to the bus, train, parking, etc. When departing Brussels, follow the signs to the appropriate terminal if not checking luggage. Electronic gates required a boarding pass scan to validate trip and gain entrain to the security screening area. At least multiple lines were open so it flowed well. Plastics baggies needed to hold your small liquid containers), water bottles emptied, belts removed but shoes stayed on. Immigration was next and much more efficient on departure. US citizens accessed the electronic gates with just a passport scan and photo. It's not 100% functional as I was told to keep trying gates until my passport was accepted (4th one was the charm). Passport still had to be inspected and stamped afterwards but that was quick. Overall 50-50 rating based on this experience. Hopefully arrivals will be much better after full implementation of the EES screening process.

It's a fair-sized space so the beds aren't unreasonably close together or anything like that. The girl at the front desk, Jessica, was so, so helpful. She literally made our stay at Brussels worth it with all of her advice on where to eat and how to get there. She was so bubbly and fun to chat with. Giving the five stars because of her!

You cannot expect a better location for the price in the heart of Brussels…read more Some reviews say it's a bit noisy. Others mention the deadly stairs. But that's the tradeoff for being in this location. Minutes from the Central station. Steps from the Grand Place and the old town center. Endless dining options. All within a stone's throw away. You cannot ask for more when visiting and staying in an old European town. If you get lucky, you'll get a room with a balcony view of the street, which is unforgettable. Not only that, but you are only 20 minutes from the airport. What more can you ask for?

Continental breakfast included, free wifi, NO ELEVATOR, hardware keys, clean rooms, comfy beds, what more do you need? If you do, then this hotel is not for you. Also it can get a bit loud being right on the place de l'Agora and above a restaurant. It suits me (I like funky hotels) but don't expect to impress anyone by staying here :)
