The store now sells name brand products (Nautical, Carhart, Croft & Barrow, etc) throughout the clothing with prices on par with outlet malls. Unfortunately, the selection is not as good as an outlet. The no-name products from China remain priced higher than a flea market but with the same quality. They still have the stairs of death in the middle of the store. So there's that.

We did…read moreeverything thru the app and followed instructions but after ten minutes when we stopped someone to ask them, they had no records of our return. We then went inside and were told there is no one able to do a return at the service desk so it's closed for the night, but we could stand in line where there "is a bit of a wait" to see if a cashier knew how to do a return. No thanks we aren't waiting in line on the of chance one of these people MIGHT knows how to do a return. After twenty years in retail myself, I understand staffing issues and training issues but NEVER have I been in a store this size where there wasn't someone competent enough to complete a basic return. There is evidently enough staff for the Team Lead Jordan and three others to stand at self checkout and chat amongst themselves, and for someone else to sit in the dark in customer service on her phone, and someone else to stand at the door and stare at everyone who walks out, but not enough staff to do a return. I tried to pick them up in a huge rush--they asked me my family member's birthday, and I admittedly didn't know it off the top of my head; I said "uhh, maybe... (month) (day). But I'm not sure. Don't even get me started on their idiotic parking lot and the drivers that park there. None of these customers have any right to even have a drivers licenses. Everybody is arrogant and entitled. I will say, if you get overwhelmed easily with a press of merchandise all around, you may need to steel yourself before going in. There are a lot of sections of the store, many cases of many things, so it is likely they have something you're looking for, assuming you're looking for magickal, spiritual, or other wares in those veins. There are varying levels of quality and price points. The staff are very nice as well, and if you have a particular interest they can guide you to that which you seek. They have 4 parking spots just for their store, and there is other parking nearby. They do not have a public restroom, that is at the bottom of the hill they're on. They do charge a card fee. I've always liked it's long shape, it's brightly light atrium area for dining or reading, it's overall cleanliness, and the shops who call it home: specifically Wild Oats (one of favorite eateries in the entire state of Maine), Indrani's (where the intoxicating smell I'm obsessed with originates; it's a really cool shop specializing in globally inspired/sourced/imported home goods, gifts, clothing, jewelry, etc.), and one entrance into Eveningstar Cinema (an intimate, artsy, single screen indie movie theater that is charming and unique and smells of deliriously rich popcorn). I just feel like this spot is a frozen moment in time in the best way possible. Bathrooms available immediately upon entering, and down the flight of the stairs to the cinema.
