Half of the session was spent discussing muscle issues--the why's and what's--which she said was part of her treatment. If that's the case, it should be clearly stated upfront before booking. I already see doctors who explain my condition, so I didn't need that part. She initially refused to work on my shoulder due to my torn rotator cuff, but after I showed her my MRI, she agreed. However, since that was 99% of the reason I booked the massage, losing half the session to discussion left me feeling shortchanged. In the end, I only received 25 minutes of actual massage for the full price, which is unacceptable. Had I received the full 55 minutes, I would have been completely satisfied. I tipped out of kindness, but I left feeling frustrated and disappointed.
