They have implemented a new process requiring you to check in for service. This keeps your place in line and sends you text notifications about your status in line. The staff is friendly, but works slow. There did not appear to be any sense of urgency. I am certain that I waited about 20-30 min to even let the staff know what I needed. There has to be a better process. Since it took me forever to have something printed, the next time I returned I opted to use the self serve machine. This was more efficient and cost me less. You do have to use a credit card for this option. I will continue to patronize the store, because where else am I going for copy services?!

However, I went to the store today and the owner/manager was there and I inquired as to why there has never been credit card reader and he blew some smoke about technical problems (for 7 years) and invited me to "go someplace else if I didn't like the manual input". I needed to make the purchase (contract/$ on the line) so I did and I said to him "everything in your head should not come out of your mouth". I left the store and decided to take him up on his offer. I was not disappointed in his behavior because I understood the source from which it came. The problem is that THEY don't respect our $ and until THEY do this type of behavior will continue but not with me. I'm done !

I needed to print two pages. Office Depot made it fast and easy. I was charged $0.30 for the two…read morepages ($0.15 per page). No human interaction was required. I had two PDF files, one page each. I attached them to a single email and sent them to officedepot@printme.com. Almost immediately, I received a reply from PrintMe with a "release code" to enter at one of Office Depot's self-serve copiers. The code was good for 24 hours. I came to this Office Depot at The District at Howell Mill. They have a few copiers near the front of the store. After you enter, head right. Everything worked great. I was able to enter the code, print preview (and make adjustments if necessary), and pay at the machine. The whole process was quick and simple. The print quality was good too. I noticed FedEx packing materials next to the copiers. I asked an employee if they accept FedEx packages for drop-off and she said yes. Good to know. Despite living in this area since 2000, I believe this was my first visit to this Office Depot (store #2538). It opened in 2006. Pre-COVID, I had no reason to come here since I went into an office with a copier and office supplies. It's looking like now I'll have to come here for my rare printing needs. At this rate, it will be about once every 2-3 years.

At one point the clerk asked her what she was shipping. Customer left. I needed to order a Notary Public stamp . The clerk told me I should go home, pick out what I wanted online then come back to the store to place the order. Why?? She said she had a lot to do. No other customers were in the area. Recommendation for others: Go to Staples!

Recently I needed a conference table and I needed it delivered next day. They moved things around and got it to me. That is so rare these days! We had use this printer for 9 years. We had bad experiences and some that were good. Often times…read morejobs would be printed on the wrong stock or paper weight. We consistently had issues with deadlines. The last straw was when we were change $228.00 for 50 business cards. Our standard rate was $68.00, they charged is a rush fee of $69.00 plus additional charges. I was shocked by the overcharge and thought they would correct it to my satisfaction, they did take off some but it left my card cost at $170.00. Which is ridiculous by any standard. We looking for a new printer.
