TERRIBLE service! The clerk in the printing department told the customer in front of me that Office Depot does not print labels. The lady needed a return label printed. At one point the clerk asked her what she was shipping. Customer left. I needed to order a Notary Public stamp . The clerk told me I should go home, pick out what I wanted online then come back to the store to place the order. Why?? She said she had a lot to do. No other customers were in the area. I needed to print two pages. Office Depot made it fast and easy. I was charged $0.30 for the two pages ($0.15 per page). No human interaction was required. I had two PDF files, one page each. I attached them to a single email and sent them to officedepot@printme.com. Almost immediately, I received a reply from PrintMe with a "release code" to enter at one of Office Depot's self-serve copiers. The code was good for 24 hours. I came to this Office Depot at The District at Howell Mill. They have a few copiers near the front of the store. After you enter, head right. Everything worked great. I was able to enter the code, print preview (and make adjustments if necessary), and pay at the machine. The whole process was quick and simple. The print quality was good too. I noticed FedEx packing materials next to the copiers. I asked an employee if they accept FedEx packages for drop-off and she said yes. Good to know. Despite living in this area since 2000, I believe this was my first visit to this Office Depot (store #2538). It opened in 2006. Pre-COVID, I had no reason to come here since I went into an office with a copier and office supplies. It's looking like now I'll have to come here for my rare printing needs. Helpful staff on-site to assist with your printing needs! I personally went into the store and Andrew provided me with excellent advice to assure my printing went smoothly. I was able to go home to make the edits and then conveniently submitted via the online platform from the official Office Depot website. I took an extra precautionary step and called the store to get their store's printing service email address so I could email a photo of my desired layout. It was difficult to find the store's email address via the official store website, but Andrew gladly provided it when I called. My order was ready as promised. I did not have to stand in line because I was able to pick it up on the shelf where my packaged was labeled with my name. In addition, I was notified via email and text that my order was ready. Orders submitted by 2 PM are ready the same time by close of business. There was an error, but Nicole professionally acknowledged the error and immediately reprinted the 108 colored copies. The store is located in the District at Howell Mill. There's plenty of free parking in the lot. The store is practicing 6-feet social distancing and requires face coverings. Curbside pick-up is available. Overall, I was satisfied with my experience. I appreciated the staff's professional advice, helpful service, and transparency when an error was made. We're human so it's important to have grace and I appreciated Nicole's integrity. The prices are a little higher than I prefer to pay for color copies. I plan to return in the future to receive excellent customer service again from Andrew and Nicole. A rewards program is available to all customers. I've yet to benefit from any rewards. I was able to select my childhood elementary school in Lorain, Ohio to make a contribution. The rating would be higher if Office Depot offered a discount for non-profits because then I would be a loyal repeat customer for my nonprofit-as well as my personal needs. read more

So I go to this Office Depot a lot for my job and there is ALWAYS something not exactly right. Like whether I place an order ahead, do a pick up, or go in. You can guarantee that you will have your things "almost correct" at most, and spend at least a half hour to a hour in there fixing the issue. Now the staff is really kind, especially the Jamaican lady who does printing (she really tries hard to provide good service), but the place as a whole tends to take their cool sweet time fixing an issue. They never really have a pep in their step or try to get you in and out. My advice is double check everything you get back from them, especially your important documents, and make sure you're not doing anything or have a sense of urgency when walking in there for something because, tuh, you'll end up being annoyed. And if for some reason you get in and out without any issues or obscene wait time, count your lucky stars. read more

I came to print off a postcard for my husband and usually they are on point for their service and how quickly you can have your projects completed. Today the staff in the printing area was unhelpful and dismissive. While the line is getting longer (3 people) and some of us have already checked in, she waits on various customers based on the project and ignored the check in process. It was pretty infuriating watching customers leave with their projects when I was still waiting on her to see if they had my paper in stock. Then she began waiting on another customer and they were laughing and talking about their personal lives. It was so frustrating so I just left and went to another printing company. read more

Machines to do self printing are broken most of the time I go in. Lots of staff standing around but won't assist and told me they'd charge me 2.50 to print one sheet of paper regardless of machine being broken. Staff is largely rude. Lines very long although heavily staffed. read more

The manager is nasty and appears to hate his job.The sales team all need to go back to CS 101.If I spend money in a store and have to run someone down to assist me and then they act like they ignoring me that's a freaking problem. This Is literally the worst office depot I have ever been to. It took almost 45 minutes to get 3 pages printed. The associate could not stay with one person and complete an order but instead went back-and-forth between me and numerous other people without getting 1 person completed. CHAPTER ONE I went here after calling to make sure they had a specific printer/scanner in stock. The item was supposed to be at the "Customer Service" desk, like the gentleman on the phone had told me it would. When I entered the store, there was no desk labeled "Customer Service", so I walked to the desk next to a register. I approached a young lady who was the only employee in sight. She asked what I was looking for and I told her. She looked down, sighed heavily and said it was behind the register, so I walked around the partition to meet her with my credit card in hand. I started to ask if it came with ink cartridges but she didn't seem aware that I was talking to her. Evidently, she was frustrated that she couldn't locate the bar code to scan, because she suddenly interrupted me in a loud voice saying "I NEED to see the bar code." I was a bit taken aback, so I just lifted my hands off the box and stepped away to allow her to do whatever it was she needed to. I guess she expected me to look for the bar code for her. I was talking to my mother about getting some additional printer cartridges, so I went to grab one. I looked for the right printer cartridge but they seemed to be out of stock, so I approached a large, gray-haired fellow around 35 who was an employee standing nearby. He didn't seem to want to talk to me as he avoided eye contact. I walked closer and noticed that he had on a Blue-tooth headset. I said "excuse me, do you work here?" (I was sure that he did, but I was trying to be polite). He looked at me for the first time, taking his badge between his index finger and thumb and held it up for me to see clearly. After a second, he said "yes", with a tone that implied "of course I do! Duh!" I did see clearly that his tag read "Ed". I continued: "Oh, well, can you help me find something?" He looked down at a bunch of cell phones on a display, shook his head and said "I'm working with these right now." "Oh", I said. "Well, is there someone who can help?" "I've called someone from the back already," he quipped. "Great," I said, walking back to try to find the cartridge again. A nice gentleman with gray hair, balding with a little pony tail did come up soon, but the item just wasn't there and now I wanted to leave as quickly as possible. We took the printer and left with the ticket. No one said a word to us. CHAPTER TWO Turned out it was the wrong item, so I had to go back about half an hour later to return (exchange) it. When I walked in the second time, the same girl -- "Krystal-in-training" (her badge read) -- did not speak. She did not make eye contact either. I said "I need to return this". She still did not speak or look up and appeared to be doing something with the cash register. After a long silence, she said "I need your receipt". I was looking for it, digging in my pockets when I uncovered the long wad of receipt paper from the previous wonderful transaction. With the printer box taking up most of the counter space, I pulled out the wad of paper and tossed it beside the printer box, on the counter, probably two feet in front of her, right beside the register. She glared at me with indignation and raised her voice saying: "IS there a reason you THREW THAT at me?!" I was shocked. I had not been spoken to this way in a retail environment, certainly not one of any repute. "What?! I did no such thing," looking at her badge. I asked "Is that how they teach you to speak to customers in training, Krystal?" She uttered a "Shhhh" sound. "Are you having a bad day?" I continued. "Naw, I'm just trying to figure out what's WRONG with you and why you threw that at me." "I didn't and you need to take Customer Service 101, don't you?" "Ha! ANY-way!" she snapped back. About this time Ed, the large gentleman with whom I'd spoken with earlier, walked up beside her. "You CAN'T return opened items," he chimed in. "Okay, I'll do an exchange," I said. "I've never been treated in such a hostile way in an Office Depot," I went on. "I'll take over," Ed told Krystal. She walked to the other desk and started talking to a fellow employee saying "HE just ..." something...I couldn't make it out, but it seemed to be concerning me. I said "thanks, Ed and Krystal" revealing I had read their name tags. Ed suddenly was friendly, as Krystal continued talking to a friend over behind the impulse-buy cold-drink section about an undetermined "bad customer". Ed processed the exchange in silence, and I have yet to be thanked for buying that PIXMA printer. GO anywhere but here. read more

I came in here yesterday to buy something. I stood at the register for 10 minutes and ended up walking out because no one came to ring up my purchase. I ended up going to The School Box across the parking lot to purchase what I wanted. If I wasnt boycotting Walmart, there's also one in the same shopping center, and it surely sells all the same stuff Office Depot does with only mildly horrible service. read more

From printing my first grad school project, graduation invites and now wedding invites; they have always been understanding and helpful. Always has a bargain that every home needs like regular office supplies. Attentive employees help me with my computer needs and their print services meet or exceed my expectations. I've done brochures for events, posters, business cards, and DVD stickers and have been pleased with each of these. One morning when I picked up my printing order I had to wait 30 minutes because they have not started it yet. I order prints online to pick up in the store often. Recently printed fake tickets and cards for a graduation gift, but printed a ton of items last summer for my daughter's 13th birthday party. I use their easy online system to print tons of creative gifts. The website allows you to choose paper, color, cutting, folding, single or double sided, and more. You can pay online or in store. They have a friendly and thorough staff. This can cause them to be slow finishing up with the customer before you at the print desk or cash register, but worth the wait. They have noticed errors in my order from coloring or folding while showing me my order and corrected it before I could point it out. I noticed an issue when I picked up my order two weeks ago and the employee quickly reprinted them correctly. He even let me keep the "errors". It looked like the online system did not communicate all parts of my order like the double sided which has never happened before. It was quickly resolved so I have no complaints. read more

This place is a joke. Wish I could give it 0 stars. Their scanners are so broken it took me a literal hour to scan 16 pages. The staff is so rude that I was blatantly ignored 3 times in a row when I asked for help, the 4th time I was told to go away. While I was there for an hour scanning my pages I saw many customers dealing with similar issues. If you need supplies there is a Wal-Mart downstairs that is better stocked and has nicer employees. If you need to scan/print your local library will likely do it for free and it won't take you 4 minutes a page. read more

Provided stellar and communicated effectively the products, services, and everything by phone conversation and when I arrived late there, the Office Depot Store location at Howell Mill Village Plaza received me and welcomed me. I was welcomed with professionalism, time and consideration. This all happened perfectly even though they were closed at 9pm---the time at which I arrived at the doors. They opened the doors of the store, then once inside, they offered me a temporary usage of their flash drive and then I obtained amazing copies in Black and White. Apparently if you work at Office Depot 200 and 60 are the same thing. As in, I ordered and paid for 200 same day business cards only to find they'd only printed 60. Lovely. When you need them in a rush there's nothing better than making an extra trip to get what you've paid for. Just went to "business services" to get a big text book 3-hole punched and the less-than-enthusiastic duel behind the counter told me to go use a 3-hike punch that would fit 15 pages max. I called to see the process for having a document printed (1 sheet). I was told to upload it to the website and that was the fastes bet. I did so and came in to pick it up. I was told that there were other people in the queue ahead of me. Although I wasn't told this over the phone, and although there were NO other people currently in the store waiting for their documents, I tried to be understanding. I really needed my 1 sheet printed so I even offered to just pay for it again and pretend I was a walk-in client. I was the. Treated like I came in to rob the place. One employee (white and I'm black) came over to the one service me and agressively asked if the employee was okay...never greeting me. The employee replied yes. Then the (also white) manager came over and stood in the back to stare me down then also walked over to the employee asking if she was okay. The employee assisting me didn't show signs of distress nor was any voices raised during this encounter. She even agreed to assist me in which I thanked her. I 100% believe I was racially profiled during this experience and will never be returning to this store. read more

I Visited Office Depot this morning in Atlanta, with the intent to buy an office chair. When I got to the store, I saw the chair I wanted. I asked for help on selecting a color. The gentleman scanned the Item, and said that this item is no longer on sale. The tag labeled on the chair was $79. He ripped off the sale tag and told me that the price wasn't correct. So I said $79 is the price I intend to pay, because thats the price I see. He again told me no, it is not on sale anymore, this was last weeks sales price. So I left the store upset. Great service deserves being highlighted. Keon is always so helpful when I visit this store. Helpful, courteous and efficient. I always know when he's working I'll be taken care of and out of there in no time. The manager on the other hand, well she's the opposite. She has the "I don't even care" look.
