The worst company to get through with their customer service they do not have a local office. They call Center is based out of the country and it takes 58 minutes on the phone with no resolution. They do not have a local office. Please do yourself a favor and go with any other public trash service in the area that services your are. Republic- the company which doesn't care about customers. I wasted $20 for gas and my time because their website ad well as the sign at the gate showed that they are open Monday through Saturday until 4:00 pm. I arrived at 3:45 pm and they would not let me unload my tree branches which would have taken 5-10 minutes. When I talked to the manager, Eddie about their hours and why they don't post 3:30 on their sign as well as on the internet, he limited himself to an apology. Senseless burning of fuel just because these people are too lazy to post a note on their gate saying "we are going to close early on Saturday, February 10" I can see several reviews about the same issue, one is over 5 years old. Obviously nothing has changed. Maybe it gives these lowlifes some kind of personal satisfaction to send customers who drive over 30 miles to the dumpster with loaded trailers back home ? read more

These reviews are strange. It's a dump. You go in, you get weighed, and you pay. What more is expected, a free coffee? Lady at the check in is great. Kids at the dump site that direct where to go, very polite. You don't want to wear a vest or buy a hard hat, go somewhere else! You think they like enforcing these rules? Moved near by and have their services. I called about a pickup for a lot of cardboard boxes since I bought furniture. Lady on the customer service line stated is was bulk trash day and assured me that I can take all my items out so they can get picked up that day. Day passed and it was never picked up. i called again and the new customer service rep I talked to said I had to schedule it ahead of time. So I was out of luck. I had to haul of my boxes back into my yard. Poor communication or knowledge on their services. Two neighbors had all their stuff out and theirs got picked up. read more

When we told them by mistake that our truck and trailer were 4500lbs they said it was 8000 lbs in our trailer. Republic had a billing glitch in January 2021 and did not take my monthly fee out so they then canceled my garbage pick ups then reinstated it. Canceled it again and reinstated it again. Each time charging me $35. Plus they have pulled Feb and March payments all the time insisting that my account is not signed up for auto pay? Now I'm told if I don't pay them $90 I will b turned over to collections. I have called them and been on hold for 30 and 40 minutes without any help from them. I have been a customer for over 10 years without being late one time. They have the dumbest customer service people and the managers the boss he said, hung up on me. Worst company ever, plus you cannot get them on the phone. I'm going to cancel my account if I ever get to speak to a person on the phone. read more

Terrible service and I don't recommend them whatsoever. They miss pick ups all the time and I have to call and complain on a weekly basis.

The website said they were open Saturday until 4pm. Drove 35 minutes to get there. Arrived at 12:45 and a worker on a skid steer comes out and tells me and the other 15 vehicles in line that the gate is closing in 15 minutes and we're not going to make it! Change the website!!!! City of Apache Junction recently signed a contract with Republic for residential service. Property owners no longer get to choose who they have for trash service. Trash cans have been dumped off to start service but Republic doesn't know how much we're being charged. They've known this is coming for months and can't tell us how much the service fee is or that they have billing information for sending invoices, how disorganized can you be? They have no incentive to provide good customer service because they know we have not choice! I can only imagine the lack of service were all in for. read more

We've been with them for several years. A little before Christmas my wife asked driver to empty ours the first time through so we could put up can and start our vacation. The driver unhappily agreed. Since New Years almost every time he empties can he hits it with his back tire when driving off. I have a bad back and this annoys me because I get the special treatment. I give Republic Services (trash removal) one start only because I cannot give them less. This is the 3rd time this year that they have missed the bi-weekly pick up for my neighborhood. I called three times to inquire. Twice I was told the driver was on the way. The third time I was told they would come only on the next regularly scheduled pick up day, 4 days later. This is the time of year I most need the service I contracted with them. Previously, they have sent a special truck out, not just for me, but for the entire neighborhood that they skipped. This time they refused. After a long while on hold and being transferred, I was finally told I could get a credit. I am going to terminate my many years of service with Republic and sing up next week with their competitor. read more

I have stayed with Republic Services/AKA Waste Management - since 1999. They have missed 2 recycle pick up's. The first time was due to an accident, the second, I was simply missed. I obviously understand the first missed pick due to the accident, but the second, without anything wrong, I wanted to know why. I called, spoke with Crystal, who stated that my recycle would be picked up on Wednesday, she was very sorry, I felt good about the conversation, and put my recycle bin out at 7am. I called on Wednesday, around noon and they didn't have any notes to pick up my recycle - I have been with this company for 19 years - the only person on my block that kept them. When I called on Wednesday, I was told if the recycle is not picked up by 4pm, it will not be picked up. If they DO NOT pick up they are going to lose a 19 year customer. My educational guess - is that they will not pick my garbage up today. REPUBLIC SERVICES YOU LOST A GREAT CUSTOMER THAT PAYS $87 PER 1/4 WHILE THE OTHER SERVICES COST $48 PER 1/4. read more
