Management told me that it is due to market changes and that my unit is in "prime real estate", when it comes to storage. Although, many storage facilities increase their rates after a certain period of time, it typically is not more than 10-15%. CubeSmart offers low rates/promos to new customers and then slowly increases their rates as they see fit. This is a deeply flawed business strategy. It is shady business... in not being upfront about rate increases and the impact it has on people who plan to stay long term. I feel like I have been scammed... it wasnt until I did a deep dive into MULTIPLE storage facilities, throughout Tyler, that I realized CubeSmart has a misleading and flawed way of doing business. My advice, do your homework and ask for details in rate increases because if you plan to rent long term... CubeSmart is going to rip you off and you can't do anything about it because, "it was stated in your lease agreement"... I have paid $200 for the past 6 months before I had time to research other facilities. The fact of the matter is, CubeSmart is literally the ultimate worst when it comes to cheating customers... at least in Tyler. Not all storage facilities follow this shady style of business... I have found a handful of well kept, safe, secure and climate controlled facilities that do NOT believe in scamming their patrons. CubeSmart needs and should do a better job in being upfront with rates so that customers feel taken care of and not taken advantage of. My reason for switching was that my clothes started having a very strong perfume odor to them when I would pick them up. When I inquired about the smell, I wasn't given any clear explanation or any option for not having the perfume smell. I am not perfume sensitive, but just don't wear perfume and would prefer not to have my clothes smell like perfume. Sometimes, after hanging the clothes up that had come from the cleaners in my closet my entire closet would smell strongly of perfume for a long time after. I was told by my new dry cleaners that this has something to do with some type of filters that are not getting cleaned frequently enough and so the lingering perfumes from clothings just get passed on to mine. The cleaners on 155 called VIP does not seem to have this issue so far and they also have a drive-through which is one of the great things that I loved about Regency.

For four work dresses it came to about $43 which is around $10 a dress plus tax I will say, I asked them about shoe repair and it was a little expensive for that and they send them out so I took my shoes else wear to be fixed
