I have never been to the dump and I was not planning on going but my dad, mom and sister wanted me to go to help my dad and sister unload the junk into the dump, so I went. Upon arrival you check in at the scales and they weigh your vehicle for the weight. We entered and was someone checked what we had in the Uhaul and directed us to the spot to dump the stuff. When I got out the smell of the dump didn't appear too bad at first and my dad, sister and I were having fun just tossing everything out. Then all of a sudden the smell got to me under 5 minutes being in the dump tossing junk. I begin to gag and almost threw up, so my dad and sister sent me back to the Uhaul until they finished which was like 10 minutes later. A few workers approached my sister and dad and I was so impressed that they were not wearing masks. In order to exit you have to check out on the scales and weigh after the stuff was unloaded. In which we had about 2000 pounds worth of junk we got rid of! Which was insane, the total was $70 which is not bad at all to get rid a bunch of stuff at all. My dad and sister made fun of me during my time at the dump which is priceless memories. More than likely I will not be coming back as I know I'll constantly be sent to the car or truck each time. Definitely not for me and I have high respect for those who works in the such industries.

Being from Madera I've always used the Chowchilla facility. Upon arrival I was somewhat greeted by a woman. She didn't seem very happy with my business but whatever. She advised me it was going to be $55-$100! I was floored! She said they charged by the weight, which seems right, but I don't remember it being so costly. My truck with the load weighed in on the first scale at 57201 and 52401 on the exiting scale. Total 480 lbs. Total price $55 bucks. Most likely I won't be retuning to this site, lil to costly and didn't like the customer service. My daughter however, got a kick out of all the equipment pushing and smashing junk :)
