All have played sports at Pondo and been involved in clubs and other groups which both strengthened their bond to their classmates and to the school. We found teachers and coaches to genuinely care about our kids and their friends. Most of the students live in less densely populated neighborhoods and correspondingly you'll see more pickups than BMWs in the parking lot each morning. We enjoyed the lower level of pretense that exists here versus the other choices down the hill and believe our kids benefitted from it.

There are many reasons why we made the change. The art and music programs, the fact that the children are free to be just that, children (tree climbing here is a must!) and this wonderful and giving community but if I had to give you the most important reason why we love Cedar Springs it's our amazing class teacher along with the other adults that teach my daughter. Not only can I say without hesitation that her teacher loves and cares for her but so do all of the other teachers that instruct her during her school day. Now it's not because my daughter is their favorite student but it's because that's how they feel about all of their students here. That's pretty special to be able to honestly claim that. Miss Cindy, who teaches the younger children, is a positive, happy, caring teacher. Miss Jeanie, who teaches the Junior Kindergartners, will melt your heart. Both teachers have been with Rainbowland for more than 10 years! Miss Sandy, the director, runs the place with love. The school is accredited which is very hard to find in this area. The Rainbowland community includes caring, involved parents which in turn includes happy, well-adjusted kids.
