I usually don't write reviews for anyone unless they over-performed or exceeded my expectations. Last year, my wife wanted holiday lights outside of our "new-to-us" house in Vienna. We called a contractor Victory Scapes first, (because it had the best ratings). When the owner Ellen arrived, Things seemed different, she obviously cared a lot about her work. She asked us about our ideas of what we were looking for this year, of how far we wanted to go, ETC. She took several photos of our property. My wife and I had a preconceived dream of how our holiday home should look. The look was kind of similar to some of the other yards from our old Massachusetts neighborhood. Ellen listened to us and said doing that wont be hard for her. She then showed us a portfolio of decorated properties that she had previously done. She mentioned how easy that completing our Massachusetts vision would be to her, The photos in her portfolio that she had done had looked better than anything we had in mind. I was surprised that her prices are on line with other outfits who were offering less. Her photos of her prior work were really impressive. She offered some minor changes and improvements to some of our initial ideas. (that BTW made sense), My wife loved Ellen's new ideas so much that we decided to try them. The changes didn't cost much more due to technology, but the end result was more drastic than we ever imagined possible! Our house had the SLOWEST drive-byes during the holidays due to Victory Scapes and Ellen's vision. We keep our curtains drawn so we can enjoy from inside.
