We are Marriott members and generally have been very very happy with our stays. We picked this Marriott for five nights because of the fabulous location. It is steps from the Metro, near the national mall, cherry blossoms, cemetery and sites. Check-in was very quick and easy. We were given maps and directions. There are laundry facilities here, an indoor pool, small fitness center and complementary breakfast. Consistently there was only one person at the desk and there was usually a line. We were on the top floor in suite 1009. Our spacious room came with a kitchenette, and everything we could possibly want for a long weekend. The room was clean, bright and well equipped. The air conditioning worked well, water pressure was good, bed was comfy & our room was quiet. Housekeeping came every other day, we were supposed to have our towels refreshed, garbage removed & bed tucked twice. By the third day, I went downstairs and asked for clean towels and the garbage taken out. We had to call and go down twice to get soap and paper products. There were two elevators and they didn't work well. When we took the elevator up to 10, it often stopped on the way and then went down. This is an economy hotel without all the bells and whistles. We had a complimentary daily buffet breakfast. There was the usual uninspiring breakfast with cereal, oatmeal, toasts, yogurts, make your own waffles, sausage, and scrambled eggs. Decided on a local staycatio here $35 garage parking a night, with in/out priveleges King studio is nice. You can control your own heat/air. Every night we went to sleep cold and then woke up in the middle of the night HOT lol. Settings do say, thermostats reset themselves every 24 hours TV is like a smart TV. The remote sensor doesn't really work well however, and the sound is a little off Kitchenette is nice. Bathroom was clean. I stayed here one weeknight for business in the area. Checking in was excellent and on point! Friendly, professional, and helpful too! The property looks really nice and parking in the garage was easy and plentiful. The room was huge, with a separate bedroom and living room. The room's cleanliness wasn't quite there though... there were long black hairs in the tub and shorter black curly hairs on the toilet seat, which was gross. The bed was kind of ruffled too, so I question just how clean the room was made after the last guest. Location of this property is great for attending meetings in the courthouse area. There are also plenty of restaurants within walking distance. I'd return and hope for a better room the next time. read more

This was the first time taking the family to DC. It was a big trip and after driving a full day, we get into our room and the 2 bedroom suite (need with a family of 5) crushed us late at night! We had two kings paid for so that we had a chance of the two kids on the one king would get along and actually sleep all week. We had a queen in there and knew the week would be terrible. Two weekend managers dismissed our concerns and one even alluded to the fact that the weekday manager was also coming up with an excuse as to why there was theft of our contract and not as promised. As of this typing, we are halfway in our stay and it is going poorly. We sure wish the manager had some integrity and would have done what was right. Watch out for this place. read more

I think this Residence Inn is one of the best deals in the greater DC metro area. Super convenient location next to the Courthouse metro station, as well as plenty of restaurants, shops, and other activities within walking distance. The rooms are great, very spacious and with lots of amenities. Since it's a Residence Inn, the rooms come with a full size fridge and kitchenette - very convenient if you're staying more than just a few days. All this, and a till at a nightly rate on par or (usually) below the smaller rooms you'd get at a hotel in DC proper. The hotel is pet friendly, though they charge a fee ($150 total for the entire visit, as of May 2023). The only reason I couldn't give a fifth star is because the fitness center leaves a lot to be desired, with minimal cardio equipment and only a rack of dumbbells, in a tiny room. For what it's worth, there is an indoor pool, with limited hours. All in all, a fantastic value for this expensive area. read more

So the location is really awesome. It's very close to the Mall and the Metro is a few minutes away on foot. We ubered most of the days back and forth. I did have a few major issues with this hotel. 1. Breakfast quality. It was terrible. And I mean I can tolerate alot but what was served most mornings were close to being I edible. They also really need more coffee stations. It always seemed to be out. 2. Elevator situation is no good. The two banks of elevators are not enough. And one seemed to be out of order frequently. Ask for a room on the lower floors so you can just use the stairs. 3. Rooms are really outdated. I couldn't believe the condition that the kitchen cabinets were in. We were in a 2 bedroom suite and they were also tiny. 4. Parking situation. Okay I understand we are in a major metro and parking is scarce. I opted for the on-site parking and paid the daily fee. But the entrance way into the parking lot is ridiculous. There is an odd 30 degree bend right at the entrance. If you have a long vehicle you will be definitely scared of scratching your vehicle. 5. Rats. I mean they are everywhere. Saw two dead outside the property. One dead in the parking lot. But I think this seems to be a DC wide problem. Overall if you stay here it's more for the location. As far as residence inns go it was way below par. Will try other places next time. read more

I was coming to town for work, and I needed a hotel in Arlington within the allowed rate, so I picked this one. I am happy that I did. Checkin was easy and the parking rate is fair. Parking was easy, and I headed to the room. The room is like most Residence Inn rooms in populated areas. The room has a small kitchen with a full size fridge, 2 burner stove, microwave, dishwasher, and cups, dishes, utensils, pots and pans, etc. The living and working area has a desk, 2 person table, sleeper sofa that folds into a full size bed, a chair for relaxing, and a tv. HVAC is fully controlled in the room, so whatever temperature you want, you can set it Year round, which is nice. No more being hot in winter and cold in summer. The king size bed is comfortable, but the pillows could use replacing, maybe with foam. The room was very quiet. I hear no noise, either from inside the hotel or outside, all night. The exercise room is better than average for a hotel. There are 3 treadmills, 2 elliptical machines, a recumbent bike, an adjustable bench, and a decent set of dumbbells. And the temperature is just right, not too cold like most hotel gyms. Breakfast has all the usuals - breads, oatmeal, good coffee, boiled eggs, milk, waffles, etc. The scrambled eggs were made with real eggs - another rarity for a hotel, and there was plenty of bacon. Nice enough hotel, breakfast awful, and because of indoor elevators being out of service forced to use outdoor elevator snowiest coldest week of the year in Jan. Slipped and fell on black ice NO SALT at back entrance. No ice no first aid kit?? 2 days later miraculously indoor employee elevator offered for guest use! Injured and in 2.5 months no one has helped me including CNA their insurer. Yet other reviews show same mgt giving out 10K points for wrong key??? Messed up guess they want a fight read more

The tv in my room wasn't working, the coffee pot was broken, the gym door was broken. All these frustrations were annoying but minor but they just kept adding up to make me wonder why I was paying so much to be annoyed. My daughter stayed at this hotel during a school trip to DC. She had no complaints with her stay. I, however, am very dissatisfied with response I got when trying to get a left item returned to us. My daughter left a quite large stuffed animal in her room that she had just purchased during her trip. I called the next day and was sent to housekeeping voicemail. Never received a call back from them even to say they didn't find it. Called again on Thursday and spoke with a gentleman at the front desk who assured me he would have housekeeping look again (she thought she left it under the bed) and that he would personally call me the next morning even if it wasn't found. Have yet to receive a call from him either. I can only assume it was stolen by a member of the housekeeping staff or they were so careless in cleaning that they did not look under the bed and it was stolen by the next occupant. How does one pick a hotel out of so many to choose from, that has pubic hair on a supposedly "clean room" on multiple areas of the bed? Next, the TV does not work at all no matter how much we tried to angle, push buttons and so on. When we tried to call the front desk person three times and no answer. And finally the sofa bed had zero bedding. I must say, as an avid traveler who tries to enjoy the time with my family, this hotel has only potential but fell short in every way. 1. Fire the housekeeper for being so damn lazy and putting myself and others at risk. 2. Fix your phone issue or make sure training is reiterated to the staff to make sure hospitality is the core of the training. This lazy and ineffective manner must stop before people lose their head. 3. Fix your damn TV's so that the item isn't just a piece which collects dust. 4. Make sure the bedding is completed on the sofa or at least have the items readily available to so travelers don't have to bother anyone. I enjoyed my stay at the Residence Inn in Arlington (Jan 2020). Staff were friendly and helpful, especially with finding good food in the area. I was there on business, and the hotel is conveniently located by the metro and movie theater. Rooms were clean, and you did have a fun view of the market below. The only reason I rate this 4 stars, is that the breakfast area was hard to navigate, there was limited seating, and the staff couldn't keep the food coming for the buffet, so if you were planning on having a certain food (when you stay at enough Marriott's for business, you have a routine), you may or may not get it. read more

I have been staying at this property for over ten years ... multiple times a year. But this may have been the last. Over the last three years I have watched the property go down in service and quality. 1) front desk -- they never try to solve a problem, it is always "our policy" 2) Rooms - this trip was the worst A) toilet wouldn't stop running, so I asked him to fix it and after a debate he agreed ... well the guy came and turned off the water to the toilet so when you flush it then has. I water yo flush. Interesting solution. We then argued and he finally moved me B) new room had shower towels with red spots that looked like blood. Not good C) shower has ripped off soup holder so the caulking was still on the tile D) the door lock was broken so if you didn't pay attention, the dead bolt would stop it from closing. Huge safety problem!!! 3) pool still not working for almost two years. Manager said none of the DC area hotels have pools turned on ... here was his list of excuses A) COVID for two years B) no life guard hired C) no one to check pool water quality D) pool needs work E) no hotel in the area has a pool open to guests. 4) No concern for guests wearing masks. At breakfast about 1:3 People would walk in and out with no masks. Take safety into your own hands with this property. It is NOT up to Marriott standards. read more

We had a great stay here! This location is a block or two from the Metro stop and we took the train everywhere. We had a larger room with the foldout couch since we had son #4 with us. It worked very well as we could close our bedroom door at night. Housekeeping did a great job of keeping everything clean. The kitchen supplies were adequate, we used them for an occasional glass of water, to toast a bagel or catch a cup of coffee. We had ample towels and bathroom supplies. The regular shower nozzle had crappy water pressure, but it increased big time when we switched to the handheld one. The breakfast they provided had many selections - eggs, yogurt, oatmeal, bagels and fruit to name a few options. We learned the first day that if you go during the end of breakfast hours some options have not been refilled. If you want a banana, go early! They also had a happy hour one night I was here. FREE beer and wine AND FOOD! Find out when that is when you check in and plan around it. This is a great location - near the Metro station as well as a big courtyard area on the way there that has a Market and Starbucks. You are also just a few blocks away from bars, restaurants and a Whole Foods. I will be staying here again next time I'm in the area! read more

Well, I've stayed at two Residence Inns nearby here in Arlington. The one in Pentagon City and here, the Courthouse Residence Inn. And you know what? I sort of like this one more. Why? Let's start on location. The Courthouse Arlington Residence Inn is settled basically walking distance from a lot of restaurants. I guess those who like to not venture out, you have an option of walking a couple of blocks to go to wholefoods. For me, I like the convenience of a bite to eat. I mean there's an Irish pub with a good Chicken Pot Pie (I'll review this spot soon) and a pizza spot right next to the hotel! Anyways, compared to the Pentagon City one, which doesn't have so many things that are walking distance and is the reason why they have a shuttle. Need to go into DC? Well, there's a metro stop a block away. Yep. No need to ask and wait for drivers of shuttles to drop you off there. A quick stroll and you're at a metro stop. It's the Orange line, so (I think) you'll get to where you need to go faster because you won't have to deal with stops such as the Arlington Cemetery on the Blue line. The room was nice. I didn't go and inspect every little thing. I stayed on the 8th floor. I never had any problems and I wasn't staying in my room all day and night anyways. I went out and came back just to sleep, otherwise I was elsewhere. Breakfast was great and accommodating. Their hotel staff is attentive often asking if I needed anything and making sure that I had my popcorn. I'll probably stay here next time if I'm in the area, unless otherwise advised not to for work. read more

Like this place! Quiet, nice clean rooms with kitchenettes. Service is good, evening activities like drinks and appetizers and/or desserts. Very convenient to Courthouse Square and the DC Metro. They have underground parking, which costs, but is convenient. Don't care much for their hotel keys - seems like they work one time, then fail - even when I keep them far, far away from other cards and my phone or any other magnetic (or EM) interference. Since you have to enter your card on the elevator to get your floor selection, it seemed like every other time I got on the elevator, I'd have to hop off, go to the desk, and get my card re-magnetized. Very annoying that was. But I still really like the hotel overall. read more

Excellent Location and Impressive Staff! Due to a bad experience at a nearby hotel, I popped in to the Residence Inn to check rates and ended up reserving a room on the spot. (This was at the end of August 2012.) Immediately, I knew my stay here would be fantastic. The front desk was well staffed. There was no waiting to address my many questions and Jeffrey Kimmey at the front desk was efficient and extremely accomodating. I later discovered the entire staff acted that way. Proactive, visible, and available, staff members extended constant courtesy. Upon check-in, the General Manager, David, helped me unload my car and also delivered my bags to my room personally. My room was a one bedroom suite with a kitchen that included full size appliances and cookware, plus granite counters, which I believe is typical of the Residence Inn. However, the furniture in the living room seemed more modern than I have seen at other Residence Inns. There was a chair that reclined, an ottoman that slid under the coffee table, and a red couch with contemporary design. I really liked my room and I slept well there. This is my first hotel stay where I experienced a good night's sleep every single night of my stay, and actually got to sleep late a few mornings! For the first time ever at a hotel, housekeeping staff did not wake me up with loud knocking at other rooms, slamming doors, nor conversation in the hallway! I did not know it was possible to sleep so well at a hotel. My room overlooked 14th street, the same street where the entrance to the parking garage is located. It was very quiet and I did not hear any street noise. Breakfast was pretty good. There was plenty of variety with hot and cold choices as well as healthy choices, my favorite being the yogurt granola mixture. I made it to just one of the inclusive dinner's / Manager's Reception during my stay, which happened to be eggplant night. The eggplant parmesan was very good. Once again there was plenty of variety, which included salads, a meat dish, cheese & crackers, fruit, brownies, cookies and so much more. The Manager's Reception occurs 3 nights a week and there was a calendar on the refrigerator in my suite with the details. Breakfast and Reception staff were attentive and proactive, bringing me to-go cartons and straws, and just always smiling. Safety and security is in full force here. Elevators can only be accessed with a room card. When my hands were full, hotel employees assisted me immediately with the elevators. The hotel is dog friendly and everyone was very sweet to my Greyhound. The location of the Residence Inn Arlington Courthouse is ideal. Washington DC is easily accessible by metro. There is plenty to do within walking distance. This part of Arlington is filled with great restaurants, bars, and plenty of shopping! My favorites include Fire Works, a restaurant next to the hotel, and Wylie Wagg for dog food & toys. I also liked the nearby Loft store and it was a treat having a Whole Foods Grocery up the street. To sum it up, my stay at this hotel was outstanding. My experience here restored my faith in the hotel industry. read more

Great place! Complimentary dinner Monday - Wednesday which is a plus to save money. Suites, so you have a kitchen in each room. My only down check is the 14$ a day parking garage. There aren't any street parking spots without meters so this is a hit to the pocket. Breakfast is better than your normal continental they actually have eggs and other items. During my two night stay here the staff was nothing but courteous and genuinely concerned that I wanted for nothing. The breakfast buffet had a plethora of options you'd normally find at a Marriot but also had a made-to-order omelette bar. Again, the staff being the icing on the cake of the experience, even for a non-morning person like myself. The cocktail hour had a good variety of domestic and import bottled beers and what looked like a fair variety of wine options (I wouldn't really know). Overall we had a nice stay for past 4 days despite some concerns. Pros: we found the room very clean (most important to me); hotel staff was helpful and responsive to our requests, especially Lidia at the front desk who was wonderful and the housekeepers (though unfortunately I didn't catch their names); we enjoyed the complimentary hot breakfast every morning; and appreciated that key is needed to enter hotel and elevator for safety. Cons: breakfast ends exactly at 8:30A during week -- way too early for families on vacation during holidays-- and the short hours created crowds in small breakfast room (many of whom not wearing masks); COVID precautions were seriously lacking... with the variant raging in DC right now, we expected additional protections from a Marriott; no water bottles or welcome bag offered upon checkin for rewards member; beds were fine but obviously worn out and ready for a refresh. The hotel is in walking distance to metro and many great restaurants, CVS and Starbucks. With our family living a few blocks away, we will likely stay here again but hope they upgrade the beds and consider additional amenities for rewards members, as well as better Covid precautions if we are still dealing with it at that time. read more

Lovely place with large rooms and almost full kitchens! The breakfasts are delicious with lots of options like eggs, waffles, cinnamon buns, yogurt, and fruit. The staff is friendly and accommodating! The main issue is that the pool hours are ridiculous! They are only from 5pm-10pm on weekdays. For small children, and people who want to do a swim workout early before heading off to work, those hours just don't make any sense. Even if the excuse is that there is a lifeguard, I think it would be better to have no lifeguard and much more reasonable hours. read more

Maybe it's just me but we traveled through the night and told the front desk we would be arriving around 3am. I was completely disappointed to find out the pull out bed was not prepared. After searching around for our bed linens, we had to call down to the front desk to have Luis(a very very nice man) come a bring linens and prepare the bed. We finally got to sleep around 3:30am. Thankfully we were allowed a late check out of 1pm. The breakfast opens from 6:30-9am. The staff was very helpful and polite. The hotel was recently remodeled and is beautifully decorated for the holidays. I would return here but arrive much earlier. read more

I travel a lot and am loyal to Marriott. We stayed here on points over the Labor Day Weekend. Well designed room - with a lot of potential - but the staff and upkeep were disappointing. At check-in, I see they are publicly announcing the names (Yelp style, "Carter P") of Marriott Rewards members to promote joining the program - naturally, this leads me to think they've reviewed our reservations to see any special requests or maybe they've already prepared the keys of those guests listed. Neither was the case that evening. Also, the room assigned was not in great condition (see dirty shower head picture). My room was 514 - near the elevator on a lower floor- my preference in the system was high floor & away from the elevator. It was a busy weekend, but with being in town for a friend's party, I had several friends who had asked about potentially staying at my hotel over driving home. Therefore, I figured it would be good to request an upgrade. After telling me they were sold out, the staff said "Do you have a lot of people staying with you?" Their take was that they asked that question to see if a rollaway would solve my need for an upgrade. Maybe that was the case - but at that point, it came across as though they were challenging why I wanted an upgrade. So, upon checkin, I checked marriott.com & saw 1 bedrooms were available. To be clear, my concern is of staff lying to a guest/customer and it really wasn't a big deal to me that they didn't grant an upgrade - it was in the how they declined the request. I'd rather be told no than lied to. Granted, we didn't need an extended stay hotel as we were in town for one night, but it was close to our local office. As others have mentioned this hotel is close to the Metro station and lots of eateries. They have fun activities or refreshments every evening. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable! I love that they have a free service that will even go shopping for you if you want to cook in your room! I could see that being amazing if I was there for a longer stay! I noticed that this hotel is more expensive per night than some of the others in the area, but I think you are getting much more for your money. The breakfast buffet is really tasty too! Plenty of seating space, a variety of options, and a courteous staff! I ended up talking to a local about the area. It is a nice part of town but is geared more towards business professionals and not so much tourists which is in line with the population I saw while I was at the hotel. I'm sure there are better areas for recreational stays, but I actually wouldn't mind staying here for a vacation. read more

We stayed at the Residence Inn Arlington Courthouse for almost 5 weeks. During this time we found the managers on duty and two of the front desk girls to be polite. The other front desk staff members were unapproachable, gave the impression that they did not want to be there and that you were interrupting them despite the fact that no one else was in the lobby. Breakfast is complementary but the cooked/hot food is average too bad. On-site parking is available for a fee but the hotel would often accept more parking reservations than they have spaces. On a couple of occasions we had to park in the neighboring car park (which staff did not brief us as to what to do in the event of the car park being full). The hotel did make some other small mistakes with our reservation details and checking in, checking out details but overall our stay at the Residence Inn Arlington Courthouse was comfortable, but we found the staff to unhelpful and unapologetic on occasions they or the hotel had made mistakes. Very nice property with great staff members! Check in desk was very friendly and helpful - knew the area very well and business that surrounds the hotel. Room was not very big for residence inn, in fact it's more of courtyard or holiday inn size. Kitchen is definitely on smaller scale but it is full kitchen and you get a full sized fridge and oven as well. Fitness center has nice selection of cardio machine and free weights but one of the treadmill had screen busted. Breakfast could get really busy as majority of guests here are ok long term stay with lots of family, lots of items were gone by 07:30 and had to wait for refill to show up (which wasn't long wait at all). My room was overlooking the apartment complex next door, and you can see everything which means they can see you too. It's near the metro and there are plenty of restaurant and bar in walking distance. It is insanely pricy ($300+pn) and that's the downside... read more

My four night stay at this Residence Inn, was comfortable, delightful and enjoyable. I found the staff to be courteous, and helpful every step of the way. I checked in three hours early, only to find my room waiting for me with no hesitation. This is the second time around for me staying at this location, I found it every bit as accommodating as my first stay. I would recommend this hotel as one of the top locations when staying in Arlington or looking for quick access into D.C. The metro stop is within walking distance along with restaurants, shops and boutiques. read more

A very sad experience at this hotel today especially after having been a platinum member for years and a Marriott customer for well over 20 years. It is beyond disappointing the poor treatment I got from the hotel manager, Jose. I Had a dispute with the reservation yesterday, and he refused to even have a fruitful conversation. Moreover my administrative assistant called him numerous times today, and he didn't have the courtesy to return a phone call - stating that he was at a meeting. Anyone in the service industry knows that when a customer calls more than twice that, even if you're at "a meeting", you find a way to get back to them. I'm sure Jose has staff who could've returned a simple phone call. Sad and disappointing. Oh, he encouraged me to write the review, so at least he is open to feedback. The location is great and rooms are clean. However, the front desk staff are terrible. They overcharged me for parking (more nights than parked) and also attempted to charge a greater pet stay charge than was stated on the reservation. When I pointed these errors out they were rude and reluctant to correct their errors. The Hyatt Place one block away is far better in every way. read more

We got a great view out of our windows. The room was spacious and came with kitchen supplies needed if cooking something in the rooms. Our room smelled a little fishy though which was quite irritating. The basic room temperatures around the hotel is at 75 degrees but they have a little control by the door you can maneuver to turn the fan on and make it either colder or hotter for the room. Once you turn it off, it goes back to the hotel's temperature. The fan blew a bit of dust, I discovered, as I woke up to a dusty nightstand after leaving the fan on overnight so I hope they clean off the filters next time or the air ducts. The room came equipped with shampoo, conditioner, and body soap as well. On the sink, there is a bar soap and a small lotion bottle. You can ask the front desk for toothbrushes, if they had any, and it apparently was complimentary so they gave us some right there. Shower pressure was adequate and temperature was good as well. Toilet pressure could be better. The hotel was also right by the courtyard where there's a FedEx directly out of one of the exits, a few restaurants you can eat at, a dry cleaning service, a small convenience store, and a salon. These direct amenities outside the hotel made the experience worthwhile as it was convenient if we wanted to stay in the hotel room for a break instead of wandering around the city. A little walk would also get you to bars around the area, Whole Foods Market, and a few more restaurants and cafes. I love this location! Parking was also skimpy so it was a good thing I had a compact vehicle. The little area you can park at in front of the hotel to check-in was minimal. I wish it was wider and had a lot more space. The gym only had a few equipments but not a lot of people use it either so it was understandable. The pool area can get crowded during the weekends when families take a short vacation but during the weekdays when they all clear out, there's barely anyone in the area. The only downside about that is it opens at 5pm-10pm during the weekdays and 10am-10pm during the weekends. There is also a lifeguard on duty everytime it's open which is a bit weird as I haven't seen a hotel do that before but it is for the comfort for those who have kids or if there's an accident that happen. The breakfast was decent. They change out two meat selections everyday but the rest doesn't change. They have two waffle makers. People are usually in line for it on peak days and hours during breakfast. They have at least 3-4 choices of cereals too. They have a few pastries and bread, toaster on the side. Yogurt selections and a few fruits to eat. Hard boiled eggs, scrambled egg, and egg whites are also available which I loved. You can also make your own wrap and they have a few condiments for it on the side. Also, during Tuesday nights, they have free dinner from 6pm-7pm which they usually have posted by the elevator. They serve wine that night too. All-in-all, my experience was superb! The location wasn't that far from Downtown DC if you drive or take an Uber/Lyft. You can also walk around the area and eat, drink, or get some needed supplies. They have limited spots for parking so I could just imagine the frustration when the hotel is at it's peak. Room could have been refreshed from the fishy smell and cleaned a bit more as I saw what seemed like a wine stain by the headboard of the bed. Fan's airfilters or airducts should also be dusted. But the service in this hotel was amazing. Front desk staff everyday was very helpful! read more

Can you believe this crap. Got back after a humid sweaty day of checking out DC only to find the water is off due to a plumbing issue. Well. Ok. Things happen. We decided to head back out and shower later. The water actually came back on as we were leaving. Got back a FEW HOURS later and no hot water. Called multiple times only to be met with different answers all what appear to be covering for the fact that they have no clue. The engineer says 6 hours for hot water to cycle back. Not true. Seemed like a nice place when we got here now this is no better than the motel 6. So now we have to go to bed sweaty and hopefully shower in morning. And because they aren't changing sheets we need to sleep in the stinky sweaty sheets for 2 days. Hoping for some relief tomorrow. read more

Nasty rooms..smell of cat urine, slow running water, ac/heat not working, slow wifi I have stayed at other residence inns and they were a lot nicer than this location. The good thing is it close to the metro and plenty of restaurants. read more

This was the cleanest, most well appointed and friendly property I've ever lodged with. I commend the manager, Mr. Gallegos, for presenting an experience for his guests that mirrors what he would want to have for himself. The housekeeping staff was superb, with Francesca being a standout in service and reliability. She brought us whatever we needed, and made sure the weekend was comfortable. Great hotel for a stay at Courthouse Square or surrounding areas. This place does it right! read more

We were having some work performed at our home in Arlington and decided to stay here for a few days. We had an outstanding visit. The breakfast is terrific (eggs, waffles, oatmeal, yogurt, bacon/sausage, etc.) Large rooms with free Wi-Fi. The lobby is very nice. The hotel has laundry, a decent fitness facility, pool and hot tub. Parking is $17 a night. What I loved most is the location (metro, Starbucks, restaurants, short walk to Clarendon). The hotels clerks were also friendly, professional and helpful. p.s. If you stay (Monday-Wednesday) they have free evening snacks or desserts and wine in the lobby. read more
