Our room was clean and the bed was comfy. Check in person was lovely and gave our dog a gift bag!

We had to wait for HOURS for our room to be ready, the heat wasn't adjusted properly so we woke up several times during the night to run it off then turn it on again (it was so annoying!!!). We had to ask for clean towels more than once because for some strange reason the only gave us one of everything even though we asked for two sets (I guess thy assumed we would take their items) which was also annoying because we were there for a birthday celebration in another state so we were right on time. I'm not -00% sure if I'll visit this location again but probably not.

When I called was told only the gm could help and he was not there in the middle of the day on a weekday? I would have to wait till he came back to work. I called ihg corporate and they called the hotel, told me the charges would be taken care of but could take 7 days. When I asked why I was charge I was told ihg didn't charge me the hotel did and hung up on me. I wanted to know was my card scammed or what but wasn't allowed to know I guess. I think since your charging people extra we have a right to know why and at least a sorry sir not hung up on.

This will be our go to hotel from now on. Service was excellent, the room was gorgeous and the facility is very nice. Breakfast was so good each morning we even tipped our breakfast lady because she was amazing!!! High recommend and have you ever stayed at a hotel that had a walk in closet? We had not until now! BONUS!!! The pool is kinda tiny but the gym was nice.

While I considered rounding up for the breakfast offerings, I'm rounding down because I didn't have the restful stay that I was hoping for. Pros: - clean hotel with complimentary continental breakfast - decent breakfast spread - scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, and a protein were served each day. There was pork sausage on one day and bacon on another. There's also a DIY waffle maker, cereal station with a few dispensers, and oatmeal bar with a mix of toppings to add in. On Sunday, there was also French toast sticks (these were dry but you can drown them in syrup). On Monday, instead of French toast sticks, they had hard-boiled eggs and fresh fruit. Both days also had a basket of apples and bananas (the bananas looked much more appealing than the apples). They had a good condiment section (jellies, butter, peanut butter, cream cheese, Nutella, etc.). I also liked that they had salsa and shredded cheese for the eggs. There was also a fridge of milk and yogurt, a juice machine, and coffee and tea station, which included flavored syrups. They do take the coffee away after breakfast, but there is a coffee maker in the room. - room had a microwave and mini fridge, iron and ironing board, and hair dryer. No safe. - fitness center and pool are included amenities. There was also a computer in the lobby for their "business center" - luggage carts were easily available - plenty of parking available - good location near several shops and other shopping areas Cons: - check-in is at 3pm. We came around 4:30 pm and the room (executive suite) was still not ready. They estimated a 45-60 minute wait. We debated unloading the car, sitting in the lobby and waiting, but decided to leave and check out the shops nearby. The hotel didn't offer anything for the inconvenience, only their "apologies." - Super uncomfortable beds! I did not get restful sleep at this hotel. I felt like I was sleeping on a cot (it's not ~ I checked... but you could have fooled me...) - minimal toiletries available. Aside from the body wash, shampoo, and conditioner pumps in the shower, the only toiletries on the counter were one make-up remover wipe and a cleansing bar. No lotion, supplemental facial soap, mouthwash, etc. - water from the water station in the fitness center tasted stale - front desk staff was not super present. Whenever I was in the lobby, the front desk space was often vacant. We didn't have any issues to address, but staff did not seem very accessible The property is nice overall and the facilities are clean. Call it a princess and the pea scenario, but these beds are not for me.

One of the reasons I gave it 2 stars is that for breakfast, they only have Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches. Of course, I passed on that offer. Best Western is gradually becoming my go-to "budget" hotel chain; I decided to join their frequent…read morestay program. Choice Hotels and Holiday Inns (where I've been a frequent stay member for 20+ years) have been going downhill for me for several years, and my Wyndham (Days Inn, Howard Johnson's, Ramada Inn, Super 8, TraveLodge) frequent stay club membership is basically useless since the points are erased after a few months of inactivity. As a fairly regular traveler for business and pleasure, I am just looking for a clean, affordable place to hang my hat for a night or two. Marriotts, Hiltons/Hampton Inns, Hyatts are not needed for my basic needs. This BW location off Sudley Road and I-66 in Manassas is in a motel/hotel hub. At least 5 other motels/hotels at this exit. This Best Western was probably built in the 1970s based on its design (the "courtyard" design that was popular in the '70s and early '80s), and the bathroom was woefully dated (and the tub was kind of gross). But I suspect the bathrooms will be renovated soon as the rest of the rooms are being renovated. The rooms are quiet, because of the outdoor courtyard design, with exterior entrances. There is a cute little pool in the courtyard too. The staff was efficient and friendly. The bed super comfortable. Despite the small bathroom area with a small sink, the room itself (at least the king-size room I had) has a larger sink in the main room. The biggest flat screen TV I've seen in a budget hotel. If you are visiting Manassas for battlefield tours, this is a perfect place for a family stay. The rooms are clean and it won't break the bank.

Wow, where to start? I feel like I have so much to say. I've been a long time Marriott customer,…read moreand rewards member although staying here made me wonder why. Nothing about this place made me feel as though they appreciated my business. Room refresh is supposed to occur every other day, but that is DEFINITELY NOT happening at this property. If you call down to the desk, they have lots of excuses as to why this is happening, but really, it's just excuses. Lots of people must of experience the same, because just like me, trash is sitting in the hallway to picked up; when housekeeping did come by, after I called to complain, another guest came and got all the towels for her room, so housekeeping had to come back with towels for mine. One time I went to ask for a garbage bag, yes, a single garbage bag from housekeeping, I was told to go to the desk, seriously? The desk for one bag. Come on, I'm tired, I've been working all day, I expected my room to have been refreshed and now I can't even get a garbage bag... sheesh!!! Such awful customer service. Again, full of excuses, and no action. Need a clean towel because your room didn't get refreshed when it was supposed too? Go to the desk, except apparently, sometimes, when your room is finally being cleaned and you come get towels off the cart. I would never stay at this property again or recommend to anyone I know. If you don't have the staff to keep up with every other day refreshes, then you shouldn't offer every other day refreshers. Instead of making excuses to guests about how hectic the day has been, how about understanding that they too have been working and probably had a hectic day and that refresh didn't happen and isn't going to happen, so just own it! Stock the rooms with more trash bags and dish soap, because one of each, runs out fast, and yep, you got it, when you're not refreshing every other day, well, I think you get the point.

I did find the hallway of the Best Western Manassas in need of some air freshener due to the smell. You could hear the rain outside of the window and through the walls. That was a bit unusual. I then get a phone call from the front desk asking if I was checking out today (the 15th). I said that my reservation had check out the 16th (it does). She said her system shows otherwise so I have to leave. I told her that I would come to the front desk as I have the app showing the 16th and email confirmation. She didn't care and after several times telling me I had to leave she finally said to come to the front desk. When I got there she had a print out form their system (best western) that says the 15. COMPLETELY CALMLY I explained that there is clearly an issue as my reservation - very clearly states (and she never denied even to her own manager) that my check out is the 16th. I had a Rental Car as well and that was also the 16th with multiple forms of confirmation. I am a IT networking professional out on a business trip - not a scammer. I asked her to contact Expedia - Best Westerns business partner who sent the reservation - and she refused and told her it was my responsibility. She patently refused and by this point was instantly rude and angry. I asked her to call her manager and she refused stating she would absolutely NOT call him, he was sick and didn't care. She told me she would, instead, call the cops (all of this was on at the front desk ON CAMERA so I am speaking with empirical accuracy and everything I am saying can be confirmed). She told me this multiple times and told me she didn't care that my multiple points of confirmation state the 16th; her system said the 15th and that is what she was going to go by and if i didn't leave she would call the cops. I am a legitimate business professional so I stood my ground and told her to contact the manager. Somehow she was instantly able to get the manager on the phone. He told her just to give me the room. This upset her - because she 'lost' her made up battle with a random stranger who never did anything wrong to her ever - so she said F you (the actual word not the letter) to me in front of a couple with a young child (probably 2 years old). I then went to my room and packed up my stuff and left as this is now a SERIOUS legal issue for me. I then drive to a parking lot and contact the manager - I took one of his cards from the front desk - and I tried to call him. He would not pick up (the front desk got him immediately and he is aware of the escalating situation). I then send him a series of texts requesting he reach out, explaining the situation, and stating that this was a significant legal issue that needs to be addressed through proper legal channels. No response. I get in touch with expedia who confirm my check out date was the 16th and who sent me ANOTHER email absolutely confirming the 16th hotel check out at that VERY hotel (he even asked me to provide the room number they gave me) and car return. He puts me on hold to reach out to the very same Best Western to determine what happened. After 5 minutes he tells me that she was unbelievably rude to him, he couldn't believe it, she refused to provide him any information and refused to escalate him to any management. He told me that he was going to personally send in an email to Best Western - from Expedia - because of the way she TREATED HIM; the representative. This is the experience I just had - today - 6/15/26 from this horrendous 'business'.
