My poor marks have nothing to do with the staff or the hotel. It is decent. The staff are all great. My issue is with the services offered at this hotel. I travel a lot for work. Recently I've taken on some new responsibilities that require a lot of online work with uploads and downloads. I am a Titanium Elite member of Marriott so they provide me with the "enhanced" WiFi for free. Let me tell you that their internet service is TERRIBLE!. It's capped at about 5mbps. I had to go to McDonald's across the street so I could get some work done. If you want a decent hotel with a modern bathroom and a shower that splashes all over the floor because it's the cool new thing... then this is your place. If you actually need to get any work done and need WiFi, this place will let you down. I asked the staff and they all complained about how terrible it is too. It's so bad, I've begun looking into Hilton for some future stays and asking AI about the internet at their hotels. I may stop by and talk to them before I leave because I'm supposed to come back in two weeks for another 2 week stay. It won't be at this hotel. read more

Very clean and seems to be a totally new facility. The location is convenient to the airport and within a mile or so of lots of restaurants and shopping. I checked in from my Marriott app ahead of time, and was able to secure a mobile key, which worked flawlessly. The breakfast area was well stocked with a variety of items, I was impressed to see cold brew in addition to the other drink options. There is a Dunkin' Donuts right next to the hotel, if you prefer that. Every staff member I interacted with was pleasant and polite. About a 10 minute drive into the downtown area. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. read more

Convenient location We were given a handicapped accessible room ( not sure why ) It was very large and spacious with a kitchen & large fridge, microwave, sink, all the dishes & tools to cook your own meals. We were only there 1 night as a stop over so didn't take advantage of it. The king bed was very comfortable. I liked the vanity mirror that had back lighting in the bathroom as well as a dressing station with another mirror with backlighting. It also had a counter to put your things on like make up bag & toiletries. A/ C worked well and the place was quiet. We didn't hear anyone banging doors. We had a view of the woods. There is a small outdoor pool and a gym which we did not experience. Breakfast was plentiful & I totally enjoyed the little quiches. The only negatives were the bathroom sink had little pressure and the kitchen lights were very dim. Also, the shower / bathtub floor was super slippery & I fear for anyone that is truly handicapped in that tub. Otherwise, Highly recommended & especially good if you are going to the Pensacola Air Base which is @20 minutes away. read more

Great hotel to stay at and the bonus was the room had a small kitchenette with appliances and dishes. Check In was fast and the hotel employee was super nice. The room was super clean seemed as if it was brand new. I had planned on getting ice from the ice machine down the hall for our drinks we had but to my surprise there was a full fridge with freezer. The bed was super soft and very comfortable. The pillows on the bed were two different firmness, two super soft and two medium firmness. The blankets on the bed is one fitted sheet and a thinner comforter. Thankfully there was a fleece like blanket in the closet. The hotel was very quiet at night. The water pressure in the shower was just right. My stay included free continental breakfast. Just a small buffet like set up that included eggs two different ways (or you could ask for them to make you some), home style potatoes which for me were too big and thick, chicken sausage, bacon that was a little too oily in my opinion. They also had oatmeal with dried fruits & nuts on the side. A selection of breads wheat, white or a bagel. They also had some sweet pastries with little croissants, and some croissants that had chocolate in them. For the kiddos there was pancakes and a selection of cereal Honey Nut Cheerios, fruit loops, brand flakes with raisins and Frosted Flakes. To drink they had orange/apple juice, chocolate/white milk, hot coffee that was premade and also ice coffee and a little selection of hot teas (they had a pot of hot water ready). The breakfast area was small but they did have a large long table that seated about 20 people, 2 tables that seated 4-5 people and three round tables that seated about 4 people. They also had a huge big screen TV that had the local station news on. Since we stayed there a day before Christmas the front desk gave each kiddo and Christmas gift with a candy cane (they did ask the parents if it was ok to do so before giving them out). They were super nice and said happy holidays. The gift was an activity book with colors and stuff it made my son's morning. Over all this was by far one of the nicest hotels and definitely very clean. Hospitality was on point and the front desk was by far the best. I will definitely be back and will tell others about this place. read more

We have nothing but great kudos for this Residence Inn. The hotel is close to the airport so it was a quick place to stay for my two night adventure. The hotel was clean, beds were comfortable and staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. There is breakfast in the morning. It was hot and fresh. The dining area is attractive and there was plenty of seating. The food was refreshed often. This would definitely be a great place to stay if you wanted a nice place close to the airport. read more

While on a layover for one night in Pensacola, I found Residence Inn based on the reviews online. I am happy to tell you it did not disappoint! From the moment we walked in, the front desk employee was pleasant and helpful, and the lobby area was over-the-top clean. It was no different once we got to our room. Impeccably clean, modern and nice little touches, too. I felt like I was at home here. The breakfast the next morning was perfect for someone who needs to grab a bite and head out for a morning flight. Even the employees at breakfast were pleasant and fun to chat with. If you are needing somewhere to stay that is clean and provides excellent service, look no further than here! read more

From the moment we walked in the customer service was on point. Welcoming and very helpful at the check in desk. Our room was spacious, clean and comfy. The next morning we met Christopher Robinson & Nikki attending to the wonderfully stocked and delicious breakfast. Customer service at the finest. They both were so helpful and attentive. The gentleman who was working overnight was very kind after our flight getting canceled. The front desk gentleman in the morning was also very kind in helping us out. Staff was all pleasant and smiling every time we passed. Hotel is clean and food is delicious. Best turn around to a bad situation! I usually don't take time to write reviews about hotels but this one is the exception. I had to stay here long term and got to know the staff and regularly see the operations over a prolonged period of time. Outstanding staff, attentive, kind, and hard working. Facility is very clean and like new. Hotel is quiet throughout all hours. This is probably the best Residence Inn I've ever stayed at and will absolutely come back. Only problem?....difficult to find availability because the hotel is regularly booked out. Good luck finding a room. read more

best hotel ever and its very luxurious. bathroom floors are nice and clean, nice kitchen that already has bowls plates and cups for you, amazing tv with youtube netflix and etc, and its very pretty. workers are very nice and the janitor cleans awsome. i will come back again for sure! read more

This hotel is close to the airport. We had a King suite. Room was lovely and very spacious. The bathroom was very spacious like with a large walk in shower. Also had a vanity area opposite the closet. Kitchen was well appointed with a regular refrigerator. All utensils and dishes were new and very nice. Had a Keurig coffee maker with 2 different types of pods. Living area was nice sized with a good sized work desk and sofa. Large screen TV. They also have a shuttle that will take you to the airport or restaurants nearby. We took the shuttle to the Bonefish Grill. Our driver Billy was great, as were all the other staff members we encountered. They were serving breakfast and had a Happy Hour also. My husband's only complaint was that they did not have fresh coffee when we left at 5:00 AM. read more
