This is my goto place to stay when coming to Concord for business. I thought this trip I would try out the location over by lake norman and I'm already missing this location. I'm pretty sure the Concord Residence in is Newer. I like the room layout better. I just wish you guys could figure out a way to get a hottub!! read more

The mattress had a dip in it, super uncomfortable. The room smelled like a dog kennel. The shower from the floor above leaked/poured water through a hole in the ceiling. (see video below) When trying to call the front desk regarding the water, there was no answer. When explaining the experience the next morning to front desk, no apology, no accommodation...only points offered. Awful customer service. Will never stay here again & suggest others don't either. read more

Three of us stayed in a two bedroom suite while in the Concord area. This place is easy to get to and near the speedway it that matters to you. It was clean enough and the AC worked. The couch in the sitting area, I have to say, was one of the most uncomfortable I have ever been on... but we were not in the room much so it was not a huge issue. I like the residence inns since they have a big refrigerator, etc.. We would go back to this location. read more

The staff was warm and accommodating. The room almost 100% clean--the exception was the ottoman which appeared to have dried boogers-gag. We just didn't use it. Outside that it's the BEST cleaned room I've stayed at in a while. Could use a fresh coat of paint and some updates but other than that it's a win. read more

Avoid This Hotel - Worst Experience Ever! I had the worst experience at the Residence Inn Concord, NC, and I strongly warn others to stay away. I checked in at 4:15 PM on March 22, 2025, only to be given two different dirty rooms. The first had a filthy bathroom with urine and hair on the toilet, and the second reeked of mildew, had dirty floors, and damaged carpet. When I reported the issues, the front desk agent, Cyris, refused to refund me, despite having no clean, livable rooms available. Things got even worse when, after calling Marriott's corporate customer service to report the disgusting conditions, I was suddenly met by police and falsely accused of vandalism--all because I refused to stay in their filthy rooms! I was escorted out like a criminal with my children, humiliated, and then banned from the hotel, with no refund for the nightmare they put us through. This place is absolutely filthy, with rumors of bedbugs, uncleaned rooms, broken fixtures, and disgusting carpets. The customer service is horrible, and they clearly have no problem calling the police on paying guests instead of providing basic hospitality. Save yourself the trouble and book somewhere else! I usually stay at Embassy Suites next door, and I regret ever making the mistake of choosing this place. Marriott needs to remove its name from this property! read more

Great hotel in a convenient location. Like all Residence Inns, all Suites, breakfast, night mixers etc. are included. Fitness room is limited ,only two thread mills , plus the scale is questionable as far as being accurate. The cleanliness of the hotel is not up to Marriotts standard levels. The fitness room had paper on floor for days, staff did not clean my room one day, the common areas need to be clean every day. Breakfast staff and food was very good. Front desk staff was also very helpful. The hotel also has a self serve laundromat, which is nice when you are traveling for two months like I am doing now. Suites are up to date and comfortable. TV has plenty of programs and entertainment. Plenty of parking, and easy access to hotel. read more

Finding a home away from home is tough, but Residence Inn Charlotte Concord made the search as easy as 1-2-3. I stayed here for eight days for a business trip and I couldn't have been more impressed with my suite. The kitchen was clean and neat, stocked with a full set of plates and silverware, a fridge, a stove top, a microwave, a dishwasher, a sink, as well as plenty of empty cabinets. Even though I barely used the kitchen, it was really nice to have, especially whenever I had leftovers from dinner. The living room and seating area was organized and clean. I had a great selection of channels to watch on the T.V so it was a great way to unwind after a long day at work. The large king size bed was roomy and the lamps on either side of the bed had an outlet that made for a convenient charging station for my phone and laptop. I had also signed up for an elite member program so I was able to use private wifi that had a consistent signal. One of the most important criteria for me when it comes to hotel rooms is the bathroom, specifically the water pressure. Most of the time, I encounter bathrooms that have weak and sometimes nonexistent pressure so I either take a long shower or feel not as clean as I would when I shower at home. But this bathroom was amazing. The tub was clean, there were plenty of towels of various sizes, and the shower head produced a strong, heavy stream. On top of the well-designed room, the hotel also provided free breakfast from 6:30 am to 9:30 am where they offered fresh scrambled eggs, turkey patties, oatmeal, yogurt, fruit, various grains (that you can toast), make-it-yourself waffles, and juices. I love how everything was labeled and that the counter was very neat. The employees consistently replaced anything that ran out and there was plenty of space to accommodate a large group of people. The gym was a bit small, but it did have an indoor pool next by which was incredibly nice, even though I didn't use it. The lobby is spacious with two computers that you can use to print out your boarding pass or anything else you may need. The team of employees at Residence Inn always greet you with a big smile as well as with a sincerity that makes you feel as if they truly value you as a customer. This was the first very trip I took without my family or my hubby so I was certainly out of my comfort zone. But staying here at Residence Inn made my experience so comfortable that sometimes I forgot I was homesick at all. So thank you, Residence Inn, for taking such good care of me. read more

As Marriott Titanium, this is my 114th night at a Marriott brand hotel for 2021. This location is very nice, convenient, close to everything. The staff: We arrived late, 1am, the front desk person was extremely polite and welcoming. She was great. The room: Well, a bit disappointing. The sofa, in our one bedroom room, was broken. The sofa arm basically looked like someone snapped it. I had to call the front to report it. If I was traveling alone, I would move rooms. But, my 4 year old twin boys were getting in bed and decided to just stay in the room being we were only here for one night. The bathroom was not cleaned well! There was hair on the floor, etc. I had to clean it myself again. The food: The morning breakfast was basic, normal Residence Inn breakfast. The lady working the breakfast area was rude, so for this I took off a star. This would easily be a 4 star location, if the staff at breakfast was polite and the furniture in good shape. read more

This hotel was perfect for us! I loved everything about it. I was impressed from the time we entered our suite. The living space was open and clean with mix of modern and traditional furniture/decor (sounds weird but it works), complete with a fireplace and mounted, flat screen TV. There was a full size, stainless steel refrigerator in the kitchen area along with a full size dish washer. The cabinets were stocked with utensils, plates, glasses, cookware, etc... There was a full size stove (not one of those funky little stoves with two burners) as well as a microwave and of course, a sink. All counter tops are granite, all very clean! The bathroom space was also very open and well lit, with the toilet and shower separate from the sink area (with a door vs a partition) - that was a plus. The counters space was pretty large and there were ample towels, in all sizes, available for our use - another plus. The bedroom was very cozy and welcoming. The lighting set-up worked well because the lamps were built into the headboard versus sitting on a side table. In some cases, when lamps are placed on the side table they're usually too far out of reach for one to comfortably reach over and switch them off - that's not the case here. Just reach up and flip the switch. There was a flat screen TV in the bedroom as well. My husband was really pleased with their channel selection because he was able to watch the football game! The bed was very comfortable! We loved every aspect of this hotel...ESPECIALLY the cleanliness. Our room was PRISTINE! We didn't stay long enough to try out any of the amenities, services or food. I stay in hotels several times a year on business. Mostly, I prefer the Marriott chain and though I have had some uncomfortable stays in a couple, this is not one of them. This is a middle of the road style hotel which is what I frequent but one of the better and nicer ones I have stayed in. Everything was clean and in order as it should be. I had plenty of towels and washcloths for my visits here. The linens have always been clean, including the comforter which many times can be frightening. The staff is as friendly as I have seen and very accommodating. They even took to the time to apologize for something when it wasn't even done wrong which is a touch of class in my opinion. My next visit to the area will most definitely include me staying here. I recommend you put it on your list. read more

We stayed here last night and had a very good stay. Very conveniently located near the interstate. We had a King Suite which was really great for the three of us. I especially liked since the bedroom had a door so we had a little privacy from "the little one". The price of our King Suite was actually the same price as the smaller room. We also had a kitchen area with table, microwave, refrigerator, and stove. Their complementary breakfast was also very good. Rooms were quiet and the bed was comfy. Everything was perfect until I found a hair on the bathtub wall that was not mine. Other than that, there are no complaints. We would stay here again. read more

The first thing I noticed when I got to my room was that it wasn't cleaned very well after the last guest. I wasn't inspecting the room or looking for issues, however they kept jumping out at me. The carpets had random tiny debris all over, as if they hadn't been vacuumed after the last guest left. The folded towels in the bathroom had long dark hairs imbedded into the white towels, so very noticeable. The tile flooring in the bathroom area was noticeably covered in long dark hair. These were the things I noticed within the 5 minutes of being there. Throughout my 3 day stay, I continued to be disappointed by the cleanliness. My key cards continued to give me issues and they were not very accommodating or apologetic about it. Each day I had to go to the front desk to have my key remade. Not the biggest deal, but frustrating to say the least. The bed is the most uncomfortable bed I can remember ever sleeping on. There's very limited television. Many of the very basic Chanel's can't be watched because they keep scrambling. Also not the end of the world but very frustrating. Breakfast was a joke. The rooms look nice. It's nice to have a kitchen. I enjoyed using the pool and basketball hoop. The location is very convenient to lots of things. Staff was friendly enough. I will happily stay at another Residence Inn in the future, but not this location. I can't get over the cleanliness or lack thereof. read more

Newer prototype of this extended stay concept. I don't like Residence Inns that are set up in townhouse clusters, but this property is set up like a traditional hotel with interior hallways, club house, evening meal and outdoor activities. Great location near Concord Mills with tons of shopping and chain restaurants. Friendly check-in, clean room, new furniture and decor. Great spot with much cheaper rates than you will find as you get closer into Charlotte. read more

Perhaps I should've waited til my most recent stay before writing a review on this place. Disclaimer: everything in my original review rings true. I just so happened to get a room equivalent to the runt of the litter last week. The bathroom sink was clogged and ended up backing up to the very brim... nothing like watching your toothpaste spit mingle in a pool with your SO's hair as you get ready in the morning. I also noticed a splotch of blood on the inside of the bedroom door... I didn't notice this til we were getting ready to check out otherwise I probably would've asked for a different room. Same with the sink. It wasn't until the next morning when two people were trying to get ready that we noticed the issue. And the living room furniture, specifically the arm chair, had seen better days. There were strange black velcro pieces stuck on it, and the couch was sunken in like it'd seen one too many monkeys jumping on the (sofa) bed. Lastly, when I went down for breakfast around 8:45am (it ends at 9:30), the area was very unkept: there was food all over the counters and several lower cabinet doors open. I had to double check the time on my phone to make sure I didn't miss breakfast entirely. Will I ever stay here again? Sure. Just a bummer to have so many things go wrong for a one night stay at a place I have always enjoyed staying at before! At the very least, I know what room number to avoid next time. read more

I stayed here twice, once for a family event and the other a convention that was occurring at the local convention center and have been very pleased both times staying there. With all the amenities that were given in a suite the convenience to everything in the area, it is a great hotel. I was also blown away by how kind, pleasing, friendly and understanding the staff is. They are some of the nicest people I have ever seen in the hotel business and truly pushed up what would have been a 4 star rating up to a definitive 5. My only complaint is that the stairwells are a tad dirty, but I would chalk that up to the renovation that is also occurring. If given the chance, I would stay here for next years con as well. read more

I loved my stay here it was so clean and convenient to everything I needed and wanted to visit. My kids lived the stay as well they like the basketball court and though I didn't get to enjoy the trail I would love to stay again to do so. I felt that breakfast could have been a little more bling since my room and a full kitchen I can't complain because if I wanted more I could have made it myself. They staff is friendly and the beds were comfy the pull out couch was not as comfortable by sun preferred to just sleep on the regular couch. Parking was a little difficult once more people arrived. But over all my stay was great and I will definitely visit again. read more

Recently stayed here for work for a week. This was my second time staying at this hotel with a large group and both stays here have been great. The rooms are extremely clean and everyone on staff is so helpful and kind. There were lots of nice places to spend time together in the hotel and being able to spend time at the fireplace outside was relaxing. Would highly recommend! read more

Our stay at this hotel was superb from our room (king studio) to the breakfast. All of the employees that we encountered were more than helpful. The pool is fully equipped with handicapped stations which will accompany that individual with getting in to and out of the pool which has warm water along with ample steps and ladders to get "in to" and "out of" the pool. Also security is superb around the place. Although it's a pet friendly hotel, we rarely heard the dogs and actually we only heard them when they were being walked outside. This hotel is only blocks from the Charlotte Motor Speedway and Hendrick's Motorsports & Museum. Highly recommend!!! read more

This is the best hotel EVER. They offer free dinner Monday - Wednesday. This also includes wine and beer... also free. The rooms are really nice and the bed was comfortable. The staff is helpful and friendly. I will only stay at a Residence Inn from now on. They also have fully equipped kitchen and a BBQ grill outside that is for the guest to use. The breakfast has an excellent variety of choices as well. I highly recommend anyone to stay here! read more

Second day here and I'm already having an issue. I go to do laundry and see 4 machines and think YAY plenty to go around until I notice 2 of them are out of order. I put my money in one of the machines and bam my money got stuck and my machine doesn't work. I call the front desk and the girl comes up and gives me my money back and leaves saying she will get her Supervisor to come up and never returns. I wait and wait and the Supervisor never shows up. So, moral to my little story is if you plan on staying here don't plan on being able to do laundry. read more

After a four night stay at the Marriott Residence Inn on Scott Padgett Blvd in Concord, NC, we left disappointed. Having given the management an opportunity to address the concerns we had, they failed miserably to uphold the standards expected by their customers. While not a major issue, it was somewhat uncomfortable, when using the elevators, having to shift, to accommodate a member of the housekeeping staff, head phones in place, as they squeezed on to the occupied elevator car with a mop and bucket of dirty water. What was a major issue, though, was requesting that housekeeping provide service to our room only to discover they neglected to do so. The night clerk's defiant attitude, rude behavior and total disregard for the basic tenants of customer service exacerbated our frustration. The hotel manager's defense of this poor service then proceeding to contradict our version of events, added further insult to injury. Additionally, along with a number of the other guests staying here on this particular weekend, we selected this hotel due to proximity to Charlotte Motor Speedway. What would have been nice for Guests Services to convey, is that crowd control following the scheduled Coca Cola 600 race would drastically alter the traffic pattern on the road where the hotel is located. Apparently the locals are all too familiar with the upcoming road blockages and traffic diversions yet Marriott failed to provide any warnings for their guests. What originally should have been a one mile trip, ultimately, was 15 extra miles on unfamiliar rural roads, after leaving the speedway. Returning to our room with the basic amenities absent and a hotel staff that blames the paying customer for their ineptness all the while other guests drunkenly partied loudly on the grounds, within ear-shot of the hotel rooms of most who were trying to sleep, was a graphic lesson on the need to choose wisely when planning out-of-town stays. With so many other lodging options, a number within walking distance, travelers would be well-advised to avoid this facility as they truly are not adequately staffed, current employees lack thorough training on how to provide professional customer service and the upper management is totally uninterested in rectifying any of the issues that matter to travelers looking for something more than just a place to stay. Certainly fellow race fans would be well advised to avoid the Marriott Residence Inn, sparing themselves from the poor hotel customer service inflicted on our party, during this recent trip. read more

I was so impressed by the rooms and the wonderful customer service at the front desk. It was my birthday weekend and the two young ladies at the front desk couldn't have been more accommodating. My friends arranged for a little surprise barbecue outside by the pit, and the two ladies working the desk provided all the amenities needed- especially grateful for the bucket of ice to keep my champagne chilled:-) So, thank you ladies for that! Sadly, a few hours after checking out, I realized I left behind a pair of jeans and a really nice top (that had literally just been given to me for my birthday). I called the hotel and they claimed they didn't see any thing but advised I call back the next day when the housekeeping folks were there. I called three times that week and nothing. I HATE to think the worse of anybody but there really is no other Logical explanation than somebody took my clothes. REAL BUMMER!! read more
