I am beyond disappointed with how this property handled the towing of my vehicle and the financial consequences their actions caused me. My vehicle was towed from the property despite the fact that I had a parking pass visibly displayed on my front mirror AND my license plate, vehicle make, model, and information were documented in the resident portal. There should have been absolutely no confusion about whether this vehicle belonged to a resident. What makes this even more unacceptable is that I received no warning whatsoever before my vehicle was towed. That morning, while I was outside with the police officer assisting me, there were multiple other vehicles in the parking lot with orange warning/violation stickers on them. Apparently, those residents were given an opportunity to correct a supposed violation before being towed. I was not given that same warning or courtesy. According to the information confirmed while I was speaking with police, my vehicle had been towed at approximately 3:15 PM at the direction of the property management company. The situation and relevant information have been documented as part of my police case. I discovered all of this on a morning when I was supposed to leave for the airport at 9:00 AM. Instead of leaving for my scheduled flight, I spent approximately an hour dealing with the police and trying to determine where my vehicle was and why it had been removed. As a direct result, I missed my flight and had to spend hundreds of dollars to reschedule and take a later flight. This was not simply an inconvenience. It significantly disrupted a trip I had planned and created completely unnecessary financial expenses for me. I have documentation showing that my vehicle information was registered with the property, that I had a parking pass displayed, and that other vehicles were being given warning stickers. If management believed there was somehow an issue with my vehicle, I would like them to explain why they apparently did not verify the resident database before authorizing a tow and why I was not given the same warning that other vehicles received. I expect management to take responsibility for what happened, including addressing the towing expense and the additional costs I incurred because I missed my flight. I will be speaking with management directly when I return. Residents should be able to trust that a property management company will verify its own records and follow its own procedures before having someone's vehicle removed. Based on my experience, I absolutely cannot recommend this property. The way this situation was handled was unacceptable, costly, and incredibly stressful. read more

Mice were caught under my nightstand -- I developed PTSD and had to seek therapy due to how traumatic the experience became. I'm a clean tenant, barely home during the day, and lived on the 12th floor. I gave management countless chances to fix this -- all ignored. I had to buy my own sticky traps and threw out furniture because of contamination. The building had one working elevator (smelled like urine), broken laundry machines, trash overflowing, stolen packages (despite paying delivery fees), and constant police/fire presence. When I moved out, I was told I passed the final inspection, left everything spotless (with video proof), and had no active lease. Then they stole my security deposit and sent a fraudulent debt to IQ Data International, which hit my credit. I've disputed it repeatedly -- no documentation, no itemized bill -- just a derogatory remark I can't remove. To make it worse, the leasing office avoids all contact. Neighbors had rats. Please believe the reviews you read here! I know this is cheapest apartment option close to downtown Stamford, but trust me you do get what you pay for. Maintenance is nowhere to be found- you cannot reach them and neither can the office. Which wouldnt be an issue if things worked a realistic amount of time, however as an example, we were unable to shower in our apartment the last month before moving out because black sludge would repeatedly come up through the drain and make a disgusting sewer stain in the tub. Maintenance never resolved the issue, with multiple calls, emergency tickets, and talking to them in person. Also, the elevator is always broken, at least one of the 2. Multiple times I had to haul groceries up to my too level apartment due to both elevators being down at once. Pest control is one of the good things- I never saw a critter and they did spray routinely. Now, they will let you know that they will be entering your apartment about 18 hours before they do, so you may have to scramble to plan to allow entry or lock up pets. The access to downtown is definitely the best part of living here, just be aware that you WILL have maintenance issues of varying degrees at any given time, with no real timeline to resolution. read more

Management and maintenance are terrible. The building isn't safe because the locks on the lobby doors are always broken, so anyone can get into the hallways. The elevators break down every week and are always dirty. The hot water stops working almost every month. The place is infested with rats outside. A lot of packages get stolen from the package room since the lock there is always broken too. The building's heater broke down more than three times during the winter, leaving the whole place really cold and taking a long time to get fixed. On top of that, management raises the rent by over $400 every year. I wouldn't recommend this building to any family. Look for a better place to live. read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. My son lives there while attending UConn Stamford. It seems like a huge scam. The paperwork they gave him had the wrong building number, so when he set up his renters insurance, it was a different building number. Charged a huge fee and wouldn't return it even after he showed proof he had the insurance. His lock broke and he was locked out overnight despite us both calling and emailing multiple times. He finally called a locksmith who confirmed the lock was in fact broken. They would not reimburse him. They actually just don't reply EVER to calls or emails. The office staff won't help. Then they did not return his security deposit or give any reason for keeping it. Again, multiple calls and emails unanswered. He provided his notice and a forwarding address. I would stay as far away from this place as possible. I have never experienced anything like this place. AWFUL!!!!!!!! Packages constantly stolen form what is supposed to be a secured mail room garage constantly floods with ankle deep rancid water but they charge 125 per month someone just moved in a month ago and their toilet and shower exploded. A fungus grew behind my bed the second day I was there Maintance did come I guess cause I was a new tenant at the time patched it up. A month later it grew back Maintance never came back. My tub was clogged for 6 weeks due to a internal plumbing issue. I sent multiple request to get it fixed no response at all. My tub had a very strange foul smell coming out of I had to shower outside of my home. The water is absolutely terrible do not drink it!! I've never seen water come out of my faucet as cloudy and dark as the water here.The Parking lot is always full of trash. Don't be fooled about the amenities the bowling alley hasn't worked the entire time I've stayed here. The pool isn't ever cleaned and barely works. The park literally has every type of dog poop you can think of no where for your children to play. The gates are all literally falling apart the gates have fallen on my car twice. NO parking Tenants block you in with cars if they cant find spaces. paid for a garage space and someone parked in the spot and management did absolutely nothing. PLEASE, DO NOT RENT HERE! I am a current tenant in this building (1425 Bedford St), and it is really a disappointment living here. To make this post short, I will enlist the issues I had encounter in this building: 1. Multiple packages STOLEN from the "secured" packaged room. The last time this happened my packages where ripped opened in the same packaged room and every item was stolen. When I complained with the manager office, they did not even bothered to check the " security camera" inside this room. 2. I have been living in this building for 8 months, and one of two the elevators have been broken for the last 6 months. It sound crazy, but it takes me more time get from my apartment to the parking lot than the commute to my work. Have in mind that this building have 14 floors. 3. We here only 1 month living in the apartment, and the ceiling of the bathroom collapsed. They toke 10 days to fix this issue. We had to use the bathroom and washer on our local gym. 4. There are people that smoke cigarettes inside the main lobby of the building. 5. The main fire alarm goes off at least 1-2 times per month (evacuation to street needed. 6. Started looking for an apt in November 2020, found this gorgeous apartment online w/great location & full amenities building. I thought I hit the Jackpot. Made an appointment to view and was shown the "model apartment" . I asked several times if the Kitchen was going to look like the model apartment and was told by Adrianne Caitan|Leasing Consultant, "Yes, once the tenant moves out, they will re-do the kitchen like the model apartment" . I WAS IN, I couldn't fill out the application fast enough, did the credit check, left the $400 deposit hat was required to hold the apartment, plus $100 for credit check. This was the end of November. I called Adrianne Caitan|Leasing Consultant, in December to ask if I could view the apartment I was to occupy on Jan. 2, and made the appointment to view. Begins the nightmare, my email to Adrianne Caitan and just to summarize: Hi Adrianne, Thank you for allowing me to view the apartment today. After careful consideration I have decided not to proceed moving into that apartment due to the following reasons: Upon leaving the elevator, the stench from the compactor room was awful. ( Maintenance Issue ) Hallway was very dirty. ( Maintenance Issue ) The view of the dumpster outside the front door of apartment is not acceptable since all the garbage was everywhere but in the dumpster.....( Maintenance Issue ) The kitchen was not as promised. You said I would have a new kitchen and that is not the case. (please see attached pictures) Holes under kitchen sink. Caulking around the tub Vanity in bathroom needs replacement and holes under sink. Faucet in bathroom does not work. Light fixture in bathroom needs replacing Garbage all over the front yards of the buildings ( Maintenance Issue ) Garbage Cans outside were all on overflow ( Maintenance Issue ). Bottom line. DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER MOVING HERE! I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau of Connecticut. Have of file of unanswered e-mails. Still looking for my refund of $400. We did paid the deposit and the application fee for both of us . After they took my money they never returned my email or phone calls It's been almost 3 months now , they still have my money. This is not a true luxury building, the elevators in bldg 1435 are constantly out of order (2-3x per month) and today 3/31/21 both were out and I live on the 14th fl. When I viewed my apartment in August 2020, I was told that the old stove would be replaced and that never happened, they didn't even clean the carpet before I moved it. I've been waiting almost 5 months for my dishwasher to be repaired. The maintenance guys are very nice, however their "hands are tied" when it come to getting the parts that they need to complete the repair. The onsite agents are the worst, promises, promises and more promises, they never follow though with anything they say. No visitors parking or passes, and the tow trucks are always driving through like scavengers. I was told that guest are allowed to park until 9pm, and I found out that that's not true. This is supposed to be a smoke free building but people are always smoking on their balcony, and the smoke is always seeping into my apartment.
