But the result was much more, the variety of flowers, shrubs and trees, (some bearing berries for birds) is the envy of the entire neighborhood. The plants have matured into a planned "painting" of contrasting foliage. My experience is that money spent outside of the house goes further than remodel money spent inside...maybe it is the "alive" thing that plants have. She also educated us on how we could easily add a rain garden to another area of our yard. She even accompanied me to the garden center to help shop for the right planters to frame up our front door. She can do as little or as much as you'd like for your landscaping projects -- from providing a plan to serving as the project manager, buyer and/or planter to implementing the entire plan from start to finish. I would give Jaime and his crew 10 stars if yelp would let me…read more My problem was a gigantic hybrid maple tree that had gotten so big it was a threat to our home if we encountered any strong winds. 3-4 years ago we did have some strong winds and a huge branch broke off from the tree and luckily fell harmlessly to the ground. Jaime returned my call quickly and we set up a time for an estimate and he arrived as promised. We agreed on a price and a day for the job to be done. I also asked Jaime to remove a couple of large lilac bushes and thin out a much smaller "regular" maple tree. Jaime and I had phone contact a couple of times before the scheduled work day.....always returned my calls, always answered my questions and showed up on time. Because the tree to be removed was so damn huge, they were not able to complete the job in one day. They arrived first thing the next morning and completed everything.....all debris was removed, tree stump the size of a small car ground down, all debris from the stump removed and top soil applied to where the tree stump previously was. They even cleaned up the street where they ground up all the branches from the tree. No one could even tell they had been there when they left. Anyone that is looking for tree removal and/or tree pruning would be foolish not to at least call Jaime and see what he has to say. His work is great and his pricing is right on as well! Next year I am planing on using Jaime and his crew for some re-sodding and some landscaping as well!

From the beginning when we had the first quote they were very professional. The crew came out the first day removed the wall, rock and dirt the got the base all graded. There are three garden stores near my home and I shop at all three. They are Bachman's, Wagner's,…read moreand Sunnyside Gardens. Bachman's is huge and has a large collection of plants and.gardening supplies. In many ways its size is a liability as it is difficult to find what you are looking for and often the staff are not knowledgeable. Wagner's on the other hand is smaller. They don't have as much stock but in general their staff are reasonably well Informed. Sunnyside Gardens is a nice compromise in size. The quality of their merchandise is excellent and their staff are accessible and seem knowledgeable. They are easy to reach and there is lots of nearby parking. I highly recommend.

I have bought a lot of plants here and have got even more advice from the incredibly helpful staff. They answer all my incredibly dumb, repetitive questions. They help me find the specific type of whatever plant I am looking for. For example, we bought a bunch of hydrangeas and a staff member helped us think through which variant would be best in specific locations in our yard. They also have a home goods shop with some really nice decorative stuff, too.

I was very impressed the first time, but then the quality of work deteriorated each time thereafter and required lots of direction. After paying for the second month of services, we decided we no longer wanted to proceed with their help due to the number of missed weeds and overall lack of attention to detail. We were told we would be refunded for the second month, in which we only received one week of service, but I have not received any money back nor have we received any gardening services during this time. Communication is poor, and I am very disappointed with how things have turned out.
