They did a decent job on that so i expanded the scope and had them do three more gardens. They were to pull out all weeds, and put down weed suppression mats. It looked great and clean until this spring when their shoddy work was exposed. Weeds coming up everywhere. John, the face of the company, is a nice guy but he made lots of promises he's since broken. They made a huge mistake and ripped out HALF of a huge established perennial garden. TERRIBLE. They said they'd reimburse me for replacement plants and plant them. They did but literally NOT ONE came back this spring. I've never had this issue with plants i install. Last month i had to contact John 4 times before he responded. He assured me they'd make it right but has since ghosted me. I feel very deceived. We paid lots of money and have little to show for it. Half the reason i hired them was because they were a scrappy start-up, John seemed trustworthy and i wanted to support them. Never again.

We worked with Miles to gain/accept the initial bid and appreciated his expert recommendations. Miles and his crew showed-up when they said they would, performed the work over 4 consecutive days and did an excellent job. After each day, they cleaned-up trimmings, etc. so the project always looked organized. They finished on time and on-budget (which was well-below other bids). Timmmmmmmmmber!!! A…read morefriend once told me my town has too many trees. I ignored him, but in hindsight perhaps he was right. MTE came to my rescue twice. The first was a ginormous River Birch that was within 6 inches of my house (sagging over time). Not a job for the DIYer. MET brought an army and the right equipment and made that beast a memory in about 5 hours. In addition, they pruned branches from 4 of my other trees. The arborist did in minutes what would have taken me days. My neighbor got some firewood out of the deal. The second was a problem Box Elder (multiple trunks near the rear property line corner) that decided to drop a trunk on my shed one day and one in my yard the next. MTE came to the rescue and removed that beast one and all in quick order. My neighbors can now sleep in peace. They also took out a tree in my front yard that had been quiet quitting for awhile. From the very start these guys were the best. Getting a quote was quick and easy - they came out to the house the same day I called. On the day of the removal - they showed up on time with a crane, a semi-truck, and loads of equipment and workers. It was all business - they knew what they were doing - it took under 3 hours to complete the job - lifting sections of this huge ash tree over the yard and into the street to cut up and haul away. Everything was professional and expertly done - I would definitely hire them again and would recommend them to anyone who needs tree work.
