Highly recommend. Our pediatrician recommended him above the other neuropsychologists in the area…read more We contacted his office and several others regarding scheduling. It took a few months for an appointment but the wait was at least several months for most neuros and psychiatrists at this time. Dr khawaja was extremely informative and caring. Highly recommend to any parents with concerns or a referral to neuropsychology.

Conclusions Did Not Match the Evidence As a former professor…read morewho taught nursing students for ten years, I spent much of my career evaluating evidence and determining whether conclusions were actually supported by it. That experience is what led me to begin carefully reading my own medical records. My experience as a patient, and later my review of the underlying records, did not match what was written in Dr. Salmaan Khawaja's report. When I compared the report to the testing and my medical history, I concluded that the narrative and conclusions were not supported by the objective findings described in the report. What concerned me most was not that Dr. Salmaan Khawaja reached conclusions I disagreed with. It was that, in my opinion, the report appeared to adopt the narrative of the referring neurologist, Dr. Mary Ransom, rather than independently evaluating evidence that pointed in a different direction. After the medication causing my cognitive impairment was identified and discontinued, I experienced dramatic improvement, yet I do not believe that improvement was adequately reflected in the report's conclusions. I encourage patients to obtain copies of their medical records rather than relying only on appointment summaries. Today's AI tools can help organize records, compare conclusions with the documented findings, identify inconsistencies, and generate informed questions for a second opinion. Patients now have a greater ability to read their own records, evaluate them carefully, and ask informed questions. I wish I had done that much sooner.

My friend has been in contact with them and is now running out of pills and can't seem to get an appointment with the therapist over there. Not going to name names but SHE is not calling. SHE has her secretary call and not for an appointment or to refill much needed meds. I just can't believe SHE as a therapist is so insensitive to her patients. So I do not recommend the whole company. They need to get it together and help the patients that still go there. As for my friend they will be connecting with new therapist hopefully on Monday. And hopefully my friend will get back to their normal. No I haven't been to the facility so can't comment on bathrooms or cleanliness. Please do not leave ugly comments. Mental health is a real issue and should be addressed how ever the therapist and the patient deem best

Probably not because he is a doctor. He is very knowledgeable on medications and takes his time to see what works best for me. If you are looking for a doctor who knows the medication, interactions and is eager to help you, this is your place to go. They have a strict no-show fee and late fee, and sometimes the doctor runs late, and I have had to wait 15-30 minutes.
