I took my teenager to see this horrible woman as I am desperate for help, as he has been experiencing severe depression caused by his shyness and learning disabilities. This disgusting "doctor" did not look at my son, speak to my son, nor touch my son, despite it being his first well child visit/exam to establish care. The moment she learned I refused to give mim dangerous anti-depressants, nor vaccinate him, her demeanor became even worse, causing us all to feel very uncomfortable, as if she wanted nothing to do with us. She has TERRIBLE bedside manners and made us all feel stupid, as if we were nothing but a waste of her time. Had she cared and shown interest, she would have learned that I refuse to vaccinate my child because all of our problems began at a well baby visit 15 years ago when I ignorantly agreed to get my child either his DTAP or MMR vaccine (cant recall which it was) and from the moment we left the office my baby started shrieking. He shrieked and cried for over 3 days straight and we have since learned this is due to brain swelling caused by a bad reaction to the vaccine he received. So, as a mom with a vaccine injured child, it is my duty to shield him from any further exposure, but she did not care to listen nor help. I begged for genetic testing for the common gene mutations (MTHFR, COMT, etc...) that could cause lack of methylation and B Vitamin receptor issues that could cause sensitivity to vaccines, but she did not consider any of this and did not care to discuss, nor get the testing done that is required to try to diagnose these types of problems. I want my child to heal if at all possible, not just be given drugs or a temporary bandaid "fix". I want to get to the root of the problem, and assumed a good pediatrician would as well. Nope! Then to make matters worse, she said she was leaving the room to go get some paperwork, and then never returned, so we sat there and waited almost an hour thinking she would come back in! And outside the door I see an odd looking security guard staring at us, as if we were criminals!! Mind you. I had been crying at her sheer rudeness, but to call a security guard was way over the top and completely inappropriate! I had not raised my voice nor said or done anything that would necessitate a security guard to be called! These people treat you like a criminal if you do not sign up for all their drugs and vaccines, and they especially do not want you asking any questions or being educated about your own childs best interests. The nerve!! Spare yourselves the indignity of being ignored and humiliated by this "doctor". I cannot believe she is allowed to even see children, especially children with special needs. Shame on you Dr Vu!

My wife, who rarely gets sick called today to see a Doctor regarding a rash and muscle ache and was told they could not see her until March (3 months from now)! The reason, she hasn't been seen by a practice doctor herself for 3 years. The office administrator claimed this was an insurance requirement, but when I checked with my provider and my insurance broker I was told this is done so the practice can use a different billing code that has a higher payout to the practice. It's a shame how this once "family" practice has evolved since Dr. Harrington's retirement, that they care more about being able to get a bit more money than actually caring for their patients.

I thought the hard part was over, but I was wrong. Finding a doctor who wants to treat POTS is even harder. Dr. Hartman doesn't shy away from hard. I've seen Dr. Hartman for many years and he is one of the smartest doctors I've ever come across. He is constantly learning new information, thinks outside the box, and shares this knowledge with his patients. Not only have I had such positive experiences with Dr. Hartman, but I have had positive experiences with both of his nurse practitioners Jodi Caddell and Veronica Porterfield. Recently, Ms. Porterfield saw me for an illness and possible tick bite infection and she spent so much time with me and followed up with me when I was having issues and questions, even calling me on her personal time on a Sunday night. Never have I felt more cared for. I have not seen Dr. Jenski but know people who do see him and have just as amazing things to say about him. After my appointment, I had to call three separate times just to have my prescriptions sent to my pharmacy. Instead of simply resolving the issue, I was charged for an additional office visit on my third call, even though I was only following up on a request that should have been handled after my original appointment. To make matters worse, I have also experienced billing issues, including what I believe are overcharges on my account. I have contacted the billing department twice and was promised a follow-up each time, yet I have never received a return call or any resolution. As a patient, I expect transparency, accurate billing, and responsive customer service. Unfortunately, my experience fell short in every one of those areas. I hope they improve their communication, billing practices, and follow-through so future patients don't have the same experience.
