Needed an electrician to solve some residential wiring issues for me, other companies in the area…read morequoted upwards of $1000. OGS were great at communicating, accommodating to my schedule and got the work done at a fraction of the price quoted by others. The two gentleman showed up on time, were courteous throughout and made sure I was 100% satisfied with the project. They even made sure to get everything cleaned up and left how they found it - even better. Would highly recommend this company and I wasn't paid for this review. Great job, thank you!

One star is too generous for OGS, Off-Grid Solutions. I wouldn't trust OGS to replace a lightbulb…read more I had to hire an experienced journeyman electrician to do a forensic inspection of OGS' work and the inspection found numerous code and safety violations by OGS that required remediation. Some of the OGS' mistakes could have caused a fire. The inspector commented that the (OGS) work appeared to be done by an inexperienced person. OGS failed at every step and then extorted me to pay them immediately in cash before the work was complete and before the City electrical inspection. The even clumsily FORGED a changed contract long after the "work" was finished, changing the terms; I had never seen that contract version until 6 weeks after the work was supposed to be completed. I have since learned from OGS that an "apprentice" may have been used on the project, mostly unsupervised, which is illegal in Colorado. I believe that the reason they wanted cash before the inspection is that they didn't not expect their work to pass inspection. We had a detailed contract for a straight-forward electrical panel capacity and amp upgrade. The contract specified that two employee electricians were to take one day to complete installation of a detailed list of equipment and get the permits and inspection done. They sent one (not two) freelance "electrician", who appears to be just an apprentice who is not allowed to work without in-person supervision, who had never seen the work order and did not have a copy. The "electrician" brought and started installing a breaker box that was the wrong brand and 1/3 less capacity than the minimum specified. After a 2nd day of work, OGS were still missing parts, but demanded full cash payment; they said it was too much trouble to bring the remaining necessary parts soon. OGS deliberately delayed requesting City inspection for no valid reason--a homeowner was home every day in January. They threatened to sabotage my follow-on project if I did not pay them cash immediately before the contracted work was completed and inspected. And did. The contracted work is still not completed, weeks later. After numerous threats, I may file extortion charges against them and seek a form of restraining order. IMHO, the GUYS AT OGS ARE NUTS and certainly should not be licensed electricians. The OGS reply to this has substantial misrepresentations; no surprise. Deal with them at your own peril.

He went out to his vehicle and came back with a bid for $20,000 for whole house rewiring. He said that there was black gunk and burn marks in the holes where the faceplates are. He refused to give us anything in writing. We called two other electricians and BOTH said this is a scam and there is no way the whole house needs rewiring in any house this age. The electrician that did come out found a problem in ONE area that took about an hour to repair. There was no black gunk or burn marks ANYWHERE. He stated that a light fixture had a wiring issue and rewired that area for about $300. That was the bid from the other person as well. Please don't fall or this scam! Jeff Flaugher, Generator and RV Solutions…read more What would you do if you suddenly found yourself in a remote area with an RV that was so damaged that no mobile service tech would touch it? Isn't that exactly the nightmare most of us that enjoy the RV lifestyle dread? My wife and I recently found ourselves in precisely that scenario with our forty foot 5th wheel that had sustained damage to the undercarriage. Yet it was our good fortune to have heard about Jeff from the RV resort we were visiting. Jeff's empathy and concern for our welfare was immediately apparent, and although it took time to effectuate the repairs we needed, he methodically worked through our problems until our unit was once again ready to travel. A consummate professional, Jeff is knowledgeable and experienced in all types of RV's and associated equipment. His passion for the work he does is readily apparent to even a casual observer. Clearly a five-star technician, if I could, I'd give him a hundred stars for the job he did for us. If you need an ALL PRO in the vicinity of Denver to keep you moving down the road, you will not finder a better technician, nor a nicer guy, to come to your aid. Thanks a million, Jeff. You are awesome!

In a time crunch, they responded within minutes to my call. In less than three hours two excellent, licensed electricians, Matthias and Daniel, were at my door ready to work. They explained everything. They diagnosed and fixed a mysterious issue with my kitchen wall plugs and did a whole-house electrical safety check. It's a local, woman-owned business, which I'm pleased to support. The prices were fair, and they have a club plan that, for a small monthly fee, provides a variety of amenities and upgrades that will make sense for some homeowners. They also have a pretty cool wrap around their truck! Highly recommended without hesitation.
