I also did the bulk of the negotiation myself, and really didn't get much benefit from my lawyer negotiating with his lawyer. Then at the end I kept being charged rather ridiculous hours to add minor details to a QDRO template. I was charged for her paralegal to be on hold with my retirement company, for 50 minutes, I guess they don't multitask. I also was charged lawyer fee instead of paralegal fee and it was only responded and corrected after I emailed twice about it.

While Mrs. Fiksdal advertises for divorce and custody she lacks empathy and compassion to get to the truth. Her behavior twards her clients is appalling. As a outsider looking in and knowing how critical it is to have all the facts correct she lacks in ability to get said facts. When the wellbeing of a child is at stake you must be diligent and educated in child development as well as asking for guidance from any professionals that are also involved with the child. NOT asking or inquiring for this information can be the matter between life and death. Please think about the outcome for the child. NOT all dads are bad and NOT all moms are good.
