Instead, we were met with vindictiveness and cruelty from the office manager that I wouldn't expect from even the coldest bureaucracy, let alone a mental health provider. We had to reschedule appointments because one of our children was critically ill. Not casually sick. Critically ill. While we were trying to keep our child alive, the office manager abruptly discharged them from care. When I respectfully voiced how devastating and heartless that decision was, she retaliated by discharging our other child too. A child who had nothing to do with the situation and still desperately needed support. That is not professionalism. That is personal cruelty hiding behind office policy. The child who was sick has since died. While our family was drowning in grief and crisis, this office tossed us aside like an inconvenience. There is no excuse for that. It was petty, deliberate, and beyond cold. We have found care elsewhere. Somewhere that treats families like people, not problems. If your child has complex needs or your family is navigating crisis, do not risk coming here. This place does not understand compassion. And worse, they do not seem to care.

I initially meet with Chelsea and she did my sons evaluation, she was pleasant, professional, and informative. Once the evaluation was completed she informed me that she would have my son see Ms. Dina because she believe that she would be a good fit for my son. Upon meeting with Ms. Dina I had some reservation because she expect no nonsense from my son, and I am a mother that wants to shield her son from the world. I will say it is coming up to one year since my son has been going to Divine and he has flourished, he is a different person, he is using sentences, he is engaged, he knows how to share, and play with others. The speech has done a one hundred and eighty degree turn. I will say Ms. Dina was the right person for him, she is amazing. I would recommend anyone to go and see Ms. Dina. She is stern, but kind. She continues to learn to perfect her craft by continuing her education. I am impressed by her. My interaction with Chelsea has also been good. She shares information with me on my sons condition and will offer suggestions. I will say everyone's experience will always be different. Trust your gut and do what is right for YOUR family. She also gave me homework to work with my baby and show me how to practice with him, I've never had this experience and we've been doing speech with other agencies for 9 years. I set up a consultation call for my son to be evaluated. The appointment call was for 4:00. No…read moreone had called me by 4:30. I called the office and left a message. I received a phone call a couple of minutes later. I think her name was Ashley Martin, at least that's what my confirmation texts said. The person called me while they were obviously driving. She didn't seem to have the best attitude to begin with. She asked what services we needed. I explained my son's situation. I also told her that he did not have insurance. She then asked if I was planning to self-pay. I said yes. His doctor had said they would work with non-insured patients. She immediately dismissed me. Said she would start by sending over a price list and was there anything else I needed. This was supposed to be a 15 minute consultation call. It started over 30 minutes late with someone with an attitide. It lasted all of two minutes with me doing most of the talking. And absolutely ZERO consulting. They still have not sent over a price list two days later. I assumed people in this line of work were interested in helping people. Quickly learning I was wrong.
