The offices and examining rooms are very clean and sanitary. Masks are mandatory. You will be given the usual blood pressure check, height verification and weight confirmation. Then a series of breathing tests while you are hooked up to an ECG. Finally, you do a stress test on a elevating treadmill to measure your heart's beats per minute. Overall, everything takes about a couple of hours but a small price to pay for heart prevention and maintenance. Overall, great experience and hopefully peace of mind.

(She let the workers know this prior to the test and they agreed that she would be able to complete all the tests but one with the door open). When time came to do the one test with the door closed my mom got nervous and asked for the door to be reopened. A few minutes later she let the worker know that she was ready for the door to be closed / to do the test. The girl administrating the test said she wasn't going to let my mom do the test that she came in for because "didn't feel like calling the ambulance today". Wouldn't recommend this clinic to anyone let alone anyone that deals with anxiety as the staff couldn't care less.

Dr. Alaa Ali checked over my mom and found she was stable, and we went for blood work. The results came in and we were notified to come in and now my mom has a treatment routine. If anyone wants to know she is doing very well for a woman of her age. We just came back from Los Cabos yeah. The receptionists require a shout out as they are excellent to deal with. I was told yes. When I submitted the claim, it was rejected - according to Green Shield, she is NOT a registered massage therapist. I contacted Dr for Moms and they already knew this, and offered no apology or recompense. I asked for some form of compensation for the loss, and they have not responded. The massage itself was not great - she didn't seem very knowledgeable about my pregnancy-related condition, no ambiance (music, etc.), and afterwards I felt worse. Go somewhere else!

The reception desk often gets swamped by patients waiting to pay/make appointments, so trying to get a hold of them by phone can be a challenge. Went for knee pain, he…read morebasically convinced me to NOT ask for an MRI, several months later go in for same problem and he reads from HIS notes that I REFUSED an MRI. Claim ends up thru WCB, after literally months of back and forth trying to get them to simply give the file to WCB I find out that in my file he had written down the wrong knee having issues! Apparently they can't accept email, everything has to be by fax?! They said they never got faxes, never got letters, even after I could confirm that they did. Go get the MRI, I call them a week later to ask if they got it... they tell me no, but the doctor will call me right after they get it... the next day WCB calls they got it on the Friday before and have already had a doctor write a report. I give Excel 3 more days, I call and they lie to me saying they only got the MRI yesterday! Doctor still hasn't called. It's not just a single doctor, it seems they have their front staff lying to clients and very hard to work with. I emailed them asking if they would take a complaint before I posted this.... they haven't bother to respond.

Then I'm taken back to one of the patients' rooms and have to wait another 30 minutes before the dr. comes in. After explaining my issue and history with back problems, and how I've never had any sort of scan performed to get a deeper understanding of what might be the cause, I'm told to take muscle relaxants, watch physio videos on YouTube, and wait to see what happens. Wow, I should've been a doctor... Even after confirming my name when he walked in, the dr mistakenly pulls up another patient's information on his computer and is glancing at that throughout the visit, mentioning how I've been on another medication previously for pain (which is not correct because he's not looking at my file). All this is realized as I'm walking to the pharmacy afterwards however, as I was ultimately handed a prescription with someone else's name and insurance info on it. So, I've just been told about another patient's personal medical history with pain meds and have the ability to use his name and insurance to get a prescription... By this point the dr had already began assisting another patient, so I'm told by staff to wait AGAIN until he's finished so the prescription can be corrected!! Brilliant. Decided I had enough of my time wasted and walked out. Stunned by the mismanagement and inefficiency of this clinic.

Essentially, at each follow-up it was like a whole new visit with many "what did we recommend last time?" Pathetic. 2) customer service Imagine trying to get a progress note sent to your physician. It's like pulling teeth. They promise that they will get it done promptly, many weeks later you're still waiting and after calling to inquire you're met by an abrasive and dismissive admin assistant who says no note to that effect was on the chart (see point 1). Incompetence runs very high in this place. 3) questionable billing Check your credit card statement. I have a few charges above and beyond what was agreed that "magically appeared" on my statement...these are currently in the process of being investigated by my credit card company and hopefully a chargeback will ensue. Bottom line is, there are far better and more ethical places to find in the city for physio and other allied health professionals. I, unfortunately, looked for the cheapest place and essentially got what I paid for -- a shit experience. Stay away.
