I believe it would be helpful for the clinic to inform women in advance if the ultrasound technician will be male. While I understand the professional nature of these procedures, I was uncomfortable being asked to undress and have my body handled by an unknown male technician. Even in a medical setting, I feel it is important to be aware of the gender of the person performing the procedure so that women can make an informed decision about their comfort levels. I hope this feedback can be considered to improve patient experiences going forward.

Ended up cancelling as she even changed my location further without notifying me or asking me. How hard is it to do both at the same time? No wonder why our health care system is the way it is. Now, if something happens with my health it will be on Canadá diagnostics as they refused to do my prescribed women routine one.

Dr. Cory Taylor, my apologies for not listening to you and going to emergency immediately as you recommended. I went the next morning because my doctor yelled at me, and I'm glad because that propelled me to move. And in time. Even tho I spent more than 6 hours waiting in the emergency room, once it was determined my appendix was leaking, the surgeon and his team moved forward and surgery took place. Dr. Taylor, as you may have seen on my health records, I am a cancer patient, I have had so many ultrasounds and ct scans over the last 5 years, I think my body rebelled at having to be subjected once again. Usually i take pills 7 days/week. I have also lower back problems when i have walked or trained. The lower back is really good now and not painful after long walks. My headaches are almost gone. Some days i dont feel anything, such a good feeling and strange at the same time. I have taken 5 treatments all together, also for shoulder and runners knee. It was so refreshing to visit a physiotherapist who actually adjusted the routine to each individual person. Panther Sports Medicine has many locations across the city, but we were lucky enough to attend the clinic with the owner of it all, Scott. He was such a pleasure to be around too. He would talk to me while poking and prodding, and make jokes to keep me comfortable. I could tell that he really knew what he was doing. Perhaps it was because of all the letters and titles after his name! I was glad that after leaving the friendly environment of Life Mark, Panther showed me the same enthusiasm whenever I visited. The girls at the front desk were always happy to see me and remembered me by name, first and last. They actually let me take home and keep a book I was reading while having physio. I completed my physio before I could finish the book, and they said no one else had touched the book in years, so I could have it. It was fantastic. What cuties! The quality of service at Panther was exceptional. They first did an initial assessment to see where my problems areas were and went from there. I still got the heating pad (and a little nap) every time I went in, but they did so much more to my body. I had acupuncture and intramuscular stimulation, as well as full use of an exceptionally equipped gym. Panther provided regular reports to my insurance company, so they could keep their files up-to-date on my recovery as well. Not only was the treatment phenomenal, but so were the people! Panther Sports Medicine should be a top choice for physical analysis and treatment. The physiotherapists really know what they're doing, and prove that to you when they help you make a quick and full recovery.

If he should move to another clinic, I would immediately drive to that clinic for treatment. I have been going to Darcy for the last 5 years. I sustained a serious injury in a motor vehicle accident and though I have chronic pain from it, regular physio helps keep me moving and allows me to do things that I otherwise would have a hard time doing - specifically my love of running LONG distances. When I told Darcy that I wanted to run a marathon, he kept me going and provided me with feedback on what types of training would be best for my body. He's excellent with all types of patients and is realistic about what will work best given your particular situation. He IS a Canucks fan though and he does give me a hard time about the Flames. Sometimes I let him get away with the trash talk, let's be honest, the Flames make it hard to defend them on occasion. I should also mention that the rest of the staff are excellent as well. The other individuals that assist throughout the course of my treatment are efficient and pleasant. 17/30
