The lobby is small, but there are some seating areas down the hall by the vending machines. There is a free breakfast with very spacious seating areas that they open for that. The rooms are a decent size with nice, firm beds. The bathroom has a barn door, which helps save space. The light switch for the bathroom is inside next to the sink, and that was a bit confusing. The shower is in a tub, which looked clean but worn and could use an upgrade. They have a good number of USB outlets. There is also a media hub that is intended to allow you to stream video from your phone to the TV. Unfortunately, the one in my room was defective, and the replacement was also not working. Still, there were enough channels available on the TV, though with commercials nearly every five minutes. There was also a laundry room. It had a couple washer/dryer sets. It's not free, but a nice option for doing any needed laundry. Overall, a decent stay and a good value.

The bathroom had no ventilation, the ceiling inside the shower was cracking off. Check in was a breeze, and Anthony was exemplary in making the process as smooth as any I have ever had. I travel for a living, so that is saying a lot. It's fairly easy to navigate the hotel, and the elevators were always quick. Having only 4 floors makes that helpful. I didn't get to check out the pool and hot tub, but I noticed they were very clean, and obviously had people around making sure towels were out, and everything was good to go. The property is located right off of I-35 coming into Minneapolis from the south. Be aware that this means you have about a 20 minute drive to and from the downtown area. To me, that is ideal, as I prefer being away from overcrowded areas which can be all too common when bigger events are in town. When the interstate splits into 35E/35W, it can be a bit confusing, but you can actually access the property from either, so that is really helpful when trying to plan your trek into the city, and whether you're going to Minneapolis or St. Paul. Parking is plentiful, as there is a lot in the back for any overflow. Be careful leaving the hotel, though, the street leads you into a one way roundabout, and you can only go right. I saw a few people mess this up, so heads up there. As far as my room goes, I was happy with the set up. Standard king room with pull out sleeper. Sheets and towels were clean, bed was comfy, as was the pull out bed. The room was also very spacious. Wall mounted temperate controls worked perfectly, and I had a great view of the back parking lot. :) With the closeness of the interstate, I was worried it would be noisy, but it wasn't. I can not recommend this place enough! If you are gonna be in the MSP area, you'd do good for yourself to book here.
