Presentation A+ Taste A+ Ingredients A+ I have NO IDEA why this restaurant doesn't have a higher rating. We were on a grey line bus tour and they mentioned a rotating restaurant at the top of the Munich tower. I called from the bus and asked if they could seat us. To my amazement, they did and we were glad to get off! We ordered the 3-course lunch and it was amazing. I've posted a picture of the menu and food. We loved it. I would highly recommend.

4 stars because of the amazing view from the rotating platform at 200m above the city. The food gets 3 stars, good but nothing to tell home about

181 business restaurant, lunch on a sunday: we have been amazed. nice service, beautifull plates, (see pics). people doing the service are listening to you, always here for questions, very polite...etc... all plates arrived verry nice arranged and decorated....(see pics) we mentionned (by booking per email) that it was our 1st weeding anniversary, and they offered us table close to windwow..and made a surprise (really unexpected) in writting us best wishes (with chocolates) on our dessert! **parfait !** we definitively recommend it! (see pics : vue, plates...etc...)

We often took our guests and team there in 181. What I like about this place is that they do not cook with MSG. My cousin travel around Europe and had a hard time finding the right place to dine out due to his allergy to MSG. So, when he visited this restaurant, it gave him a big relief. The food and service was great!

The food, serving size, and service was excellent! So we came back several times and tried different dishes, all experiences were consistently wonderful. We did go to other similar restaurants during our stay in Munich and quickly realized how great this place truly is. The others didn't compare. Big pluses besides what I've already stated, is they gave us tap water, no problem and no cost, which was a problem elsewhere in Germany. Also the bathrooms are at the same level as restaurant. I have mobility issues and a lot of European restaurants toilets are downstairs. I highly recommend Neuhauser Augustine's! Both inside and outside seating is very nice, too.

Perfectly crunchy skin, fall off the bone meat, good gravy and sides. Truly amazing. Service was top notch until a few large parties came in at once and you could see the servers start loosing their organization. The setup of the restaurant is nice too. Plenty of seating and the building is split into sections which keeps the temperature and noise levels more manageable. We will be back!

We ordered the bratwurst with fries, along with Helles and Weissbier. The bratwurst was fantastic--juicy, flavorful, and the perfect pairing with a cold Bavarian beer. The beer garden is self-service, which works incredibly well given the huge crowds they serve. Even on a weeknight, it was packed, but the service moved quickly and efficiently. The atmosphere is exactly what you'd hope for from a Munich biergarten--lively, relaxed, and filled with locals. Its location away from the main tourist areas gives it a more authentic feel. A great spot for Bavarian food, beer, and a lively local beer garden experience.

We were lucky to meet Luba who guided us to two open seats and then took our orders. The Wiener Schnitzel was so delicious. The best that we had in Munich. Breaded veal schnitzel with sautéed potatoes and marinated cranberries. The cranberries kicked the flavor up a notch. So tasty. The Kasespatzel was a cheesy Swabian style noodle dish topped with crispy fried onions. So good. So addictive. Loved the dressing on the simple side salad that came with the Kasespatzel. Wanted something cool and refreshing to drink. Went with a blackberry sparking water refresher. Luba was such a great waitress. Definitely made our favorite meal in Munich a special one to remember. Danke schon!

Zum Brunnergarten is a bit off the beaten path (located in Luitpold Park) but our Airbnb host…read morerecommended it. It's apparently his favourite beer garden in Munich. It's a mix of German and Balkan food. We dropped in on a Thursday afternoon (around 1:45pm) and it was filled with a small group of German seniors enjoying the sunshine. Seems like a lot of regulars come here. There's no English menu (we asked) but our server was extremely helpful and spoke excellent English. The menu consists of bread, sausages, warm food, small plates and grilled dishes. Their drink menu is extremely cheap and reasonable. - Radler (€2,90 for 0,5L) - they mix their radler with 7 Up. Not much taste wise but it's light. - Weissbier (€3,20 for 0,5L) - supposedly malty but to me, it was light. Typical German beer. - Pfannkuchensuppe (€3,00) - German pancake soup. Broth is a light, clear soup; reminded me of chicken noodle soup. The strips of pancake were interesting but plain. - Pommes (€3,00) - a side of thin cut fries with a package of curry ketchup. These reminded me of McDonald style fries. Decent filler. - Grillteller (€12,90) - served with djuvec rice, raw chopped onions and ajvar (red bell pepper and oil sauce). The grilled meat platter included a spicy sausage, two cevapcici, kalbsleber (calf liver) and pork. All the meat was excellently grilled but our favourite cuts were the pork (juicy and moist) and spicy sausage (tasty with a slight kick to it). Worth a visit especially if you want a more local beer garden experience.

We ordered the pork knuckle, pretzel with beer cheese, and beer. The pork knuckle arrived cold and lacked flavor, while the pretzel didn't seem particularly fresh either. The beer pour was especially disappointing--the amount of foam/head was ridiculous, and for a place associated with such a famous brewery, I expected a much better pour. The photos really speak for themselves. Service was the biggest issue. We repeatedly tried to get someone's attention to place our order, but the servers seemed to avoid eye contact and kept waiting for someone else to help us. Even getting the check was a struggle--we eventually had to get up and go to a counter ourselves. It felt like the staff had little interest in actually serving the customers. The atmosphere itself has the traditional Bavarian beer hall feel, but unfortunately, the poor food, disappointing beer pour, and especially the terrible service completely overshadowed it. I really wanted to like this place, but based on our experience, there are much better beer halls and beer gardens in Munich.
