We've eaten at this restaurant 2 of the three nights we've been here. The servers are all very friendly and the food is yummy. It's mostly pub/roadhouse fare with a Mexican twist. The restaurant is decorated with lots of movie and music memorabilia and is pretty kitchy, but fun. There are all sorts of places to take interesting selfies and there's even a huge wall filled with different kinds of hot sauce to choose from. We have tried the wings (yummy! Buffalo or BBQ), steak flatbread (soooo yummy, thin and crispy with lots of melted cheese), Caesar salad (delish. and so fresh), skirt steak (tender and flavourful) and the fish burger (yummy, saucy and in a delicious bun). I read on another site that the service was slow and unfriendly, but we did not experience this at all. Everyone was very friendly and the service was very good, but the restaurant wasn't very busy. Maybe that was the difference. We will definitely be back at La Moda during our stay at this resort!

We were able to come here twice during our stay and each time had the same issues, just like the hotel nobody speaks English and that makes it hard to impossible to order drinks as there is no drink menu, just the alcohols. I actually never been anywhere on my travels that didn't have some sort of drink menu... so good luck on trying to get a Long Island! Lol The food seems to come from elsewhere on the property, there must be a central kitchen, as most foods seem to be the exact same that you can get elsewhere in the hotel and a lot of items just seem to be reheated, unless you get the nachos or pizza as there is a pizza oven. The flatbread pizza was okay as well as the ribs. We also got a fun dessert that had a piece of chocolate cake on top of chocolate milk! We didn't even know what exactly is was when ordering because they only had the Spanish dessert menu! Maybe next year, if the hotel continues to be all inclusive and apart of sunwing's trips that they will invest in some people who do speak English to make things easier on everyone!
