My friends and I shared a plate of nachos, an amazing way to start any pub meal. I ordered the smoked salmon sandwich, served in a crusty italian bun and dressed with a wasabi based dressing. This sandwich is responsible for changing the way I think about smoked salmon as an ingredient. The same can be said for wasabi. This sandwich was fresh and tasty the whole way through. The sauce was tasty and offered a mild burning sensation that begins at the pallet and exits the nose - a noteable trait of wasabi. My friends both ordered the Jack Daniels chicken pizza and both enjoyed it very much. Based off the bite I took, the toppings complimented each other well. The sauce added a level of smokiness, over the smokiness of the wood oven, that I enjoyed. Great pub if you are visiting Tadoussac. They are stocked with some tabletop games to keep busy with while it rains. The staff is great. Food is fantastic.
